In this paper, the author details the three aspects substation construction management of the project, namely the concept of substation engineering, project management and construction safety, through these three aspects, the author analyzes the construction project management substation existing problems, To solve these problems and issues proposed some measures and construction process that need attention. It launched separately from the design, schedule, quality and other aspects of security and research, and in the course of the study stressed the importance of coordination between elements of construction and construction sectors as well as cooperation between the construction, explains the importance of the project cost control.展开更多
By examining a specific case of compensating for nighttime construction noise in Beijing’s construction projects,we explored how the costs of mitigating construction noise disturbance could be fairly distributed amon...By examining a specific case of compensating for nighttime construction noise in Beijing’s construction projects,we explored how the costs of mitigating construction noise disturbance could be fairly distributed among multiple construction projects near residential areas.In this process,the local government played a crucial coordinating role.According to regulations,construction units must include the costs of preventing and controlling construction noise pollution in the project cost.The construction contract should clearly specify the construction unit’s responsibility for noise pollution prevention and control.After signing the contract,the construction unit should promptly undertake relevant measures to minimize disturbances caused by nighttime construction,aiming to reduce the adverse impacts on the community and ensure the smooth progress of the construction project.展开更多
The research focused on the analysis of construction and demolition debris in a sample Brazilian city with the objective to propose a management scheme tailored to private initiative intervention. The debris was found...The research focused on the analysis of construction and demolition debris in a sample Brazilian city with the objective to propose a management scheme tailored to private initiative intervention. The debris was found to be produced at a rate of 1.55 kg per person per day for a total of 5177 tons per month. The composition report showed 75% material reusable for construction purposes, 15% material recyclable through reverse logistics and 10% refuse to be disposed of at landfills. The study developed legal and managerial instruments that stimulate private operators to achieve landfill diversions in the order of 90% of this waste. The arguments were supported by a flow diagram that indicates the correct destination of all waste items and an economic balance of private waste movement. Proactive legal scriptures were sketched out that can assist the local administration in setting the timeframe for reaching the diversion target.展开更多
The steel structure construction is an interesting option to the already established concrete structure at a time when the Brazilian civil construction seeks more efficiency.To promote the use of this material it is n...The steel structure construction is an interesting option to the already established concrete structure at a time when the Brazilian civil construction seeks more efficiency.To promote the use of this material it is necessary to have a better understanding of its characteristics and,especially,of its possible pathologies,to avoid degradation,costs,and even the collapse of the structure.In this study Total Quality Management tools were applied to analyze the pathologies found in five medium and large steel-structured buildings.The most frequent ones were structure corrosion,cracks in the closures,and infiltrations in the interface closure/structure.The Ishikawa Diagram is used to identify the origin of the causes of pathologies and the Gravity Urgency Tendency Matrix(GUT Matrix)is used in the risk analysis of each pathology.The results obtained show that it is possible,through these Quality Management tools,to understand the origin of the pathologies,establishing their dangerousness and the degree of risk each one offers.展开更多
