An overlooked aspect of this development is its impact on construction labor, and the significance of labor for assessing the work of architecture. The paper draws upon the sociological concept of the “glocal” to analyse the construction site as the product of the tension between global and local conditions of architectural production and consumption. The construction of Preston Scott Cohen’s 2010 Tel Aviv Museum Addition serves as its case study for theorizing the “glocal” dynamics of digital architecture, building technology and construction labor. This methodological approach highlights the role of migrant guest workers and technological transfer in contemporary construction culture. To realize with precision the complex design under local constraints, the contractor developed a hybrid work process that interspersed labor saving automated manufacturing techniques with artisanal, skilled construction work. In addition, workers and contractors exercised a high level of control over the pace and method of construction, and devised building solutions which improved upon the architect’s design. In conclusion, the paper argues that construction activity differs from broader trends in manufacturing due to the self-reflexivity of architectural design to its condition of production, but that at the same time, this critical capacity is enabled by the globalization of construction labor.展开更多

The key to the integral practicability and aesthetics is the emphasis on the integrality of spatial logical order of those two factors, which contains the integral harmony of function attributes, scale, logics, and modal relationships and so on. Combine with the teaching of kindergarten architecture design, using architecture and site logic model teaching methodology, through the extraction cognitive teaching approach of the site environment order logics, the cognitive teaching approach of kindergarten architecture spatial logics, the strategic teaching approach of the congruent design of the integral order of architecture and site environment logics, module and model congruent counterpoint design teaching approach of architecture and large site environment order logics, organization and construction integrated design teaching approach of architecture and small site environment spatial logics, and result design teaching approach of architectures integrated into the landscape of large site environment and their surrounding small site environment and other teaching procedures to complete die teaching tasks of the integral practical and aesthetic design of kindergarten architecture and site environment.展开更多

By taking an eco-hotel in Zhejiang Anji County as the research object, 33 test points have been set. The indoor and outdoor air temperature of eco-hotel and the surface temperature of building envelopes had been recorded by using data acquisition instrument, temperature transmitter and other equipments from January 27 to February 2 in 2007. Then, the data of a period had been selected for comparison and analysis and the results had been obtained as follows. In January when the temperature difference between day and night in Anji was not large, without particular thermal insulation measures and equipments, the indoor temperature of eco-hotel fluctuated very little, showing that rammed earth construction was of obvious capacity for heat preservation and insulation, that its heat stability was evident and that it could ensure excellent indoor thermal environment.展开更多

In that sense, the primary objective of this study is to examine the Core Concepts and Forms of traditional architecture, as well as their cultural connotations, in three regions of Saudi Arabia: the central, eastern, and western regions. Non-participant observation, ethnographic, and descriptive approaches were used in the study, which was based on a multi-dimensional comparative observational model. It was determined that the traditional Saudi built environment relied on forty Core Concepts and Forms that were divided into four categories: constant, semi-constant, semi-flexible, and flexible core forms to regulate the production process and maintain its continuity over centuries.展开更多

文摘Simultaneous localization and mapping(SLAM)is one of the most attractive research hotspots in the field of robotics, and it is also a prerequisite for the autonomous navigation of robots. It can significantly improve the autonomous navigation ability of mobile robots and their adaptability to different application environments and contribute to the realization of real-time obstacle avoidance and dynamic path planning. Moreover, the application of SLAM technology has expanded from industrial production, intelligent transportation, special operations and other fields to agricultural environments, such as autonomous navigation, independent weeding,three-dimen-sional(3D)mapping,and independent harvesting. This paper mainly introduces the principle,sys-tem framework, latest development and application of SLAM technology, especially in agricultural environments.Firstly, the system framework and theory of the SLAM algorithm are introduced, and the SLAM algorithm is described in detail according to different sensor types. Then, the devel-opment and application of SLAM in the agricultural environment are summarized from two aspects:environment map construction, and localization and navigation of agricultural robots. Finally, the challenges and future research directions of SLAM in the agricultural environment are discussed.

文摘To conduct the ecological restoration and reconstruction of disaster areas after the severe earthquake, such as Wenchuan Earthquake and Lushan Earthquake, this article uses region al ecological environment evaluation and ecological footprint to construct a quantitative analysis model on the basis of ecololgical environment indexes in Mianzhu City. Through this model, resource status of the regional environment in Mianzhu is analyzed, as well as the ecological capacity and the ecological security. Based on the evaluation and analysis, this paper provides multi-path development strategies of ecological restoration and sustainable development of human settlements after the earthquake.
文摘Starting with the declaration of Tanzimat in 1839,the transformation of administration, law, taxation, property rights, education, urban planning and public works were initiated, which caused the regulation of urban and construction regulations as a tool for achieving a modern state.1840,the date of the Health of Towns Report, marks a stage in the growing concern with health. The period between 1840-1940 is a recognisable date in history, with the outbreak of the Great War marking the end of an era.It also marks the date of a major enquiry into building laws and it also sees the virtual completion of the process of the incorporation of the health controls into the building regulations. In this date several regulations were enacted concerning the buildings and the streets and implemented in Beirut. The main goal of this article is to understand the impact of Building Codes on the construction of the late Ottoman Heritage and its architectural typology.
文摘This study examines the traditional Saudi built environment and culture to uncover its rich architecture and to propose a new way of thinking about how to comprehend and value the past while also rebalancing the Kingdom’s future architectural identity. It was determined that the traditional Saudi built environment relied on forty Core Concepts and Forms that were divided into four categories: constant, semi-constant, semi-flexible, and flexible core forms to regulate the production process and maintain its continuity over centuries.

文摘Taking the development of the times as the background, the historical evolution of modern architecture is combed from the perspective of the initial stage of industrialization to post-industrialization and then to the information age.It can be seen that there is a close connection between development and modern architecture in the context of the times. With the advancement of science and technology, the construction of buildings has undergone varying degrees of changes due to aesthetics, materials, structure, humanities, and technology.Behind these changes are the results of the progress and development of social productivity. While changing people’s social cognition,it also changes the development process of architecture.
