Students’Perceptions of Online Education During the COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic forced many universities around the world to move their educational activities onto online platforms.We conducted a survey in which asking undergraduates at a Chinese university how they felt about different aspects of online education during the pandemic.We received responses from 1,088 students.A majority of the students(67.9%)thought that physical classroom is better than online education and MOOCs.The students believed that teachers have improved their ability to teach online since the pandemic(67.3%)and online teaching is a suitable option in the current situation(65.8%).The students expressed satisfaction with the online educational resources and teachers’flexible use of online tools.However,the students felt that online education is stressful and affecting their health and social life.The pandemic has led to widespread use of online education,and we hope that online education can be better in the future.

Research and Practice of Integrating Ideological and Political Education Into Liberal Arts Mathematics Teaching

This paper first analyses the reasons for the low effectiveness of ideological and political education in current liberal arts mathematics teaching,then puts forward the contents,methods,and approaches of integrating ideological and political education into liberal arts mathematics teaching,and finally finds out the matters needing attention of integrating ideological and political education into liberal arts mathematics teaching.

Sustainability in Higher Education Institutions(HEI):Merging the Study Systematic Review,Analysis Content and Bibliometrics

This study aims to explore how the topic of sustainability in Higher Education Institutions(HEI)has been addressed in the scientific literature.It presents a systematic literature review of peer-reviewed journal articles published between 1975 and 2019.After that,bibliometric and content analyses were performed in order to identify the behavior and evolution of the literature and identify the frequency with which they appear in the text,making it possible to raise replicable and valid inferences to the data.The results of this study indicate that the theme is emerging since the year 2010 and with a strong focus on qualitative studies,focused on critical theory.The results indicate that although studies involve the tripod environment,economy,and society,there is still a gap in studies that deal with specific issues to solve practical problems and that analyze the impacts from a more holistic perspective.The combination of methods made it possible to identify and interpret the articles in the selected sample,but based on results reported by other authors,with little room for quality control and integrity.

Content-based instruction in tertiary education in China

自20世纪八十年代以来,以专业内容为基础的英语语言教学在欧美大陆和一些非洲国家逐渐流行,并成为英语语言教学的主要方法。在中国和其他一些亚洲国家,专业与英语结合的教学方式也得到广泛应用。但是,许多教师和研究人员对于该教学法在实践中存在的多种方式,以及这些方式之间的关系还存在不解或者误解。通过对以专业内容为基础的英语教学与国内流行的二语教学,专业应用研究与双语教学之间的区别与联系,分析了以专业内容为基础的英语教学在中国高等教育中的优势以及该教学法中教师,特别是语言教师所起的作用。

Design and Implementation of Museum Educational Content Based on Mobile Augmented Reality

In the digital age,museums are becoming increasingly integrated with media technology.The interactive mode of museum education brought about by new digital communication technology can increase the audience’s participation and interest in museum education content.This paper attempts to use Mobile Augment Reality(MAR)technology to design museum education content under the guidance of the principle of abstraction hierarchy from the theory of education optimization.With the help of MAR technology,museum education content can move up and down at different levels of information abstraction.The purpose is to help the audience move between perceptual knowledge and rational knowledge and improve their ability to understand.The evaluation results show that this style of interactive teaching content can promote visitors’understanding,thinking and interest in the cultural content of museum exhibits.It is also can helps visitors use a more professional-level vocabulary and more detailed descriptions about the cultural content of museum exhibits.The design and implementation method detailed in this paper has a certain guiding value for museum education development as well as utilization of MAR technology.

国际游戏化学习研究热点透视及对我国的启示与借鉴——基于Computers&Education(2013-2017)载文分析

通过选取Computers&Education杂志2013-2017年期间刊载的游戏化学习文献,对其进行共词分析、聚类分析和文本内容分析,研究发现:国际游戏化学习的研究热点,主要集中在价值认知、资源的设计与开发、应用领域与方式、效果评价以及新技术嵌入五个方面。基于国际游戏化学习研究热点及其与国内研究的横向比较,提出未来我国游戏化学习研究的建议:关注游戏化学习的价值认知,提升用户对游戏化学习的认可度;重视游戏化学习资源的设计与开发,为游戏化学习的应用提供优质载体;拓宽游戏化学习的应用范围,促进游戏(化)在教育领域中的深度应用;多维度构建游戏化学习的评价机制,增强评价的有效性、可靠性和精确性;加强技术嵌入的游戏化学习应用研究,抓住新兴技术为游戏化学习研究带来的新机遇。

Continuity of Natural Science Education in the System of“School-University”

At the present time,new state compulsory standards for school education,standard curricula,and curricula have been developed.The programs of higher and postgraduate education do not take into account changes in educational curricula of secondary education.The future specialists of pedagogical universities are teachers of the school.Therefore,graduates of universities on pedagogical specialties,including scientific direction,should be profoundly aware of the content of subjects studied in secondary education.It is very important to understand the need to ensure the continuity of educational curricula of higher pedagogical and general secondary education in conditions of updating the content of education.The relevance of the research topic is due to the lack of continuity in the educational programs of higher pedagogical and general secondary education in conditions of updating the content of education;discrepancy of professional competences of young pedagogical staff,graduates of higher educational institutions,to the conditions of the updated content of school education;the lack of fundamental and applied research to date,considering the theoretical and methodological foundations for ensuring the continuity of natural science education in the“school-university”system in the context of updating the content of education;the need for the research in the context of the implementation of the State Program for the Development of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2016-2019,which indicates an increase in the prestige of the profession of teachers and an increase in their quality.These theoretical and methodological bases for ensuring the continuity of educational programs of higher pedagogical and secondary education in conditions of updating the content of education will make it possible to introduce changes in the educational curricula of higher and postgraduate education for the training of pedagogical personnel.

A Quality Assurance Reference Framework for Assessing Educational Data

Digital educational content is gaining importance as an incubator of pedagogical methodologies in formal and informal online educational settings. Its educational efficiency is directly dependent on its quality, however educational content is more than information and data. This paper presents a new data quality framework for assessing digital educational content used for teaching in distance learning environments. The model relies on the ISO2500 series quality standard and beside providing the mechanisms for multi-facet quality assessment it also supports organizations that design, create, manage and use educational content with the quality tools (expressed as quality metrics and measurement methods) to provide a more efficient distance education experience. The model describes the quality characteristics of the educational material content using data and software quality characteristics.

Analysis of Family Education Differences between China and America under Cross-Cultural Perspective

Family education refers to the influence of parents on children's growth and development in the process of family interaction,and it is an important part of the whole educational cause.The differences in the purpose,content and mode of family education between China and the United States are mainly determined by three factors:history,culture,values and social conditions.This paper will make a comparative analysis of the differences and their causes in family education between China and the United States from three aspects:the purpose,content and mode of family education,which will help to eliminate misunderstandings in the process of intercultural communication and provide some enlightenment for family education between China and the United States.

Association between Teacher Candidates'Competency and First-Year Employment in Physical Education:A Comparison Study

Physical education teacher education(PETE)programs prepare teacher candidates to be competent and employed in P-12 school settings.This study examined the relationship between competency and first-year job obtainment in physical education(PE).Participants included 111 teacher candidates from two schools.Participants'competency in content knowledge in Kinesiology and sub-disciplines(CKKH),content knowledge in sport and skill proficiency(CKSP),pedagogical content knowledge(PCK),and first-year job obtainment in PE were collected.Descriptive statistics,independent-samples t tests,and multiple logistic regressions were used to analyze the data.The overall sample showed participants were most competent in PCK,followed by CKSP and CKKH.Female participants were more competent in PCK than their male counterparts,and those at School A performed better in CKSP and PCK than their peers at School B.As a sample,more than half of the participants(55.9%)obtained PE jobs.There was a significance between the overall sample and female participants'competency in CKKH and their first-year employment in PE.This study was limited by sample size,variances in courses between the two schools,and by the defined timeline to clarify first-year PE employment.Implications regarding the importance of CKKH and first-year employment were discussed.

Law Education in Japan and China:Comparative Analysis Focusing on Law-Related Materials

Purpose:This study examines law-related education in Japan and China to reveal the current state of research and identify the roles,possibilities,and challenges facing such teaching at the elementary,junior high,and senior high school levels.This study conducts a comparative review of research on perspectives toward law education in both countries,as well as the characteristics of and issues facing law education in Japan.Design/Approach/Methods:This study examines trends in research and educational reform related to law education in Japan.In doing so,it evaluates how the characteristics of and issues facing law education in Japan are related to law education in China.Findings:Results show no evidence of a systematic study of law in Japan.Reforming subjects to engage in collaborative learning is a more realistic strategy than attempting to design wholly new subjects.Accordingly,exploring what kind of learning activities are linked to law-abiding education in China offers insights and references for Japan.Adapting these strategies to the Japanese context and law material can help create a more systematic form of learning.Originality/Value:Through joint research by researchers and educators from East Asian countries,we intend to conduct further research on the development of curricula,textbooks,and class models suited to specific subjects.Employing the joint research learning approach discussed in this study in Japan and China may result in further learning possibilities.

In modern times,under the dual crisis of nationality and culture,Zhang Junmai returned to the internal philosophy of“Inner Sage,”whereby he started the global exploration of“Outer King”and constructed his own categorized Neo-Confucianism thoughts based on the contents of Yangming’s philosophy of mind as well as western philosophies.Therefore,by probing into the foundation of Zhang Junmai’s philosophy of mind,this paper explores the educational significance of the view of life based on honesty,the methodology of giving equal importance to learning and doing,and the world’s point of view contained in it,which may serve as a certain reference for the current education development.

元宇宙会是昙花一现吗?——“现象级”数智技术及其教育启示

从元宇宙到生成式人工智能,科技进步以指数级跃升态势,推动人类社会前行。教育作为连接技术与社会的人力资源纽带,在“现象级”数智技术高歌猛进的一波波热潮裹挟下不断面临“如何变”的拷问。随着元宇宙的讨论热度被生成式人工智能所取代,人们不禁追问:元宇宙会是昙花一现吗?为此,文章首先依托技术促进教育变革的原理,分析了以元宇宙、生成式人工智能为代表的“现象级”数智技术给教育领域带来的学习方式变迁、认知方式转变、教育关系演变和系统生态变革,并指出技术是教育变革的影响因素和驱动力,对教育发展起积极的推动作用。随后,文章通过对技术属性的解析来理解跃迁中的数智技术,并探析了数智技术促进教育发展的本质,即对学习方式、认知方式、教育关系和系统生态变革进行编程。最后,文章阐释了“现象级”数智技术的教育启示,以期为数智时代背景下技术促进教育发展的本质探索与意义解构提供启示,并引领未来数智教育的发展方向。

我国安宁疗护通识创新教育思考

随着中国人口老龄化进程加剧,安宁疗护作为提高临终患者生命质量的重要保障越来越受到社会关注,需求不断增加。安宁疗护需要复合型人才,通识教育可提升人们对安宁疗护的认知和理解,使更多的人了解、接纳并参与安宁疗护。随着安宁疗护知识和技术的进步,传统的灌输式教育模式已无法满足实际需求,因此,急需创新安宁疗护教育策略。通过分析目前中国安宁疗护通识教育存在的问题,并从建立安宁疗护通识创新教育体系和评价体系、多元化的教育内容和方法、加强医务人员培训、促进学员群体多元化、加强社会公众安宁疗护知识普及等方面提出安宁疗护通识创新教育的思考和建议。

职业教育国家规划教材内容特征分析——以财经商贸大类为例

内容是教材的灵魂。采用内容分析法,从教材设计理念、教材结构、教材设计、纸数融合四个维度,对财经商贸大类“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材内容特征进行分析。研究发现:认可能力本位教材设计理念,与标准对接不足;“章—节”式目录结构仍占较大比重,教材内容主题分歧明显;标题式项目、理实叠加现象突出;数字资源以二维码融入微课视频为主,存在不一致、使用率不高问题。据此,提出提升高职专业教学标准适应性、内容描述详尽度和时效性,重视专业核心课程教材的技术理论知识开发,以实践性问题为纽带整合理论与实践知识,结合课程内容特性与学习者需求开发教材配套的数字化资源等优化对策。

职业教育新形态教材内容的设计与组织研究

针对职业教育新形态教材研究与开发中存在的不足,提出了职业教育新形态教材内容的设计与组织逻辑的内在要求,通过对理论知识与操作技能概念、情境性学习理论、图式理论、技能学习相关理论、职业道德及职业精神培育相关理论的分析探讨,形成了指导新形态教材内容的设计与组织的创新性依据。据此,设计了新形态教材内容的设计与组织模型,并从纸质教材的理论知识设计与组织、技能知识设计与组织、思政育人设计与组织、教材开发系统和数字资源系统等方面进行了可行性论证。

材料类专业研究生课程混合式教学模式构建研究

课程学习是保障研究生培养质量的必备环节。然而,当前研究生课程还存在课程目标单一、课程内容和教学方式陈旧等问题亟待解决,已不能满足创新型人才培养的要求。为进一步培养研究生的高阶思维和学术创新能力,该文立足课程教学改革,采用混合式学习设计思路构建研究型教学模式,重构与课程目标相匹配的课堂学习与学习通平台在线学习内容,精心设计面向研究型的混合式教学活动,并在高等材料学课程中进行实践,取得较好的教学效果。
