Application Effect of WeChat Platform Continuity of Care Model Based on KAP Theory on Self-Management of Stroke Patients with Hypertension

Objective: To explore the impact of the WeChat platform continuity of care model based on the KAP (knowledge, attitudes, and practices) theory on the self-management of stroke patients with hypertension after discharge from the hospital. Methods: 62 stroke patients with hypertension discharged from the rehabilitation department of a tertiary A hospital in Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, from October 2022 to April 2023 were sampled by convenience sampling method. Patients discharged from Rehabilitation I were included in the control group, and conventional nursing care was used;while patients discharged from Rehabilitation II were included in the observation group, and WeChat platform continuity of nursing care model based on the KAP theory was implemented. The intervention effect of the two groups was compared. Results: After 4 and 12 weeks of intervention, the diastolic and systolic blood pressure of the patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05);after 12 weeks of intervention, the rate of medication adherence and the score of adherence to hypertension treatment in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The application of the WeChat platform continuity of care model based on KAP theory to stroke patients with hypertension can improve blood pressure, medication adherence rate, hypertension treatment adherence, and overall enhance the self-management level of these patients.

Analysis of the Nursing Effect of Continuity of Care on Elderly Patients with Coronary Heart Disease Unstable Angina and its Impact on Quality of Life

Objective:To analyze the effect of using continuity of care for elderly patients with coronary heart disease(CHD)with unstable angina pectoris(UAP)and its impact on their quality of life.Methods:100 cases of elderly patients with CHD with UAP admitted to our hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were selected and grouped into an observation group and a control group of 50 cases each according to the randomized number table method.The nursing effect and quality of life of the observation group(continuity nursing)and the control group(routine nursing)were compared.Results:The total effective rate of nursing care was 96.00%observation group and 80.00%for the control group,and the differences were significant(χ2=6.061,P<0.05).Patients in the observation group had fewer episodes(1.42±0.21)times/week and a shorter duration(5.46±0.39)min,which were better than the control group(t=3.465,2.973;P<0.05).The depression self-rating depression scale(SDS)score(42.16±6.64)and anxiety self-rating scale(SAS)score(32.26±7.35)in the observation group were lower and the quality of life was higher as compared to that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Continuous nursing care improved the nursing effect of elderly CHD with UAP patients,promoted the alleviation of UAP symptoms,improved patient mentality,and improved their quality of life.Hence,continuous nursing care possesses significant clinical application value.

Situational continuity-based air combat autonomous maneuvering decision-making

In order to improve the performance of UAV's autonomous maneuvering decision-making,this paper proposes a decision-making method based on situational continuity.The algorithm in this paper designs a situation evaluation function with strong guidance,then trains the Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)under the framework of Deep Q Network(DQN)for air combat maneuvering decision-making.Considering the continuity between adjacent situations,the method takes multiple consecutive situations as one input of the neural network.To reflect the difference between adjacent situations,the method takes the difference of situation evaluation value as the reward of reinforcement learning.In different scenarios,the algorithm proposed in this paper is compared with the algorithm based on the Fully Neural Network(FNN)and the algorithm based on statistical principles respectively.The results show that,compared with the FNN algorithm,the algorithm proposed in this paper is more accurate and forwardlooking.Compared with the algorithm based on the statistical principles,the decision-making of the algorithm proposed in this paper is more efficient and its real-time performance is better.

Impact of an emergency department nursing intervention on continuity of care, self-care, and psychological symptoms

BACKGROUND The emergency department plays a crucial role in providing acute care to patients.Nursing interventions in this setting are essential for improving the continuity of care,enhancing patients’self-care abilities,and reducing psychological symp-toms.AIM To evaluate the effect of nursing interventions in the emergency department on these indicators in an emergency department.METHODS A retrospective analysis was conducted on 120 patients admitted to the emergency department between January 2022 and May 2023.The patients were divided into two groups:The control group(conventional nursing intervention)and the observation group(conventional nursing intervention+emergency department nursing intervention).The two groups were compared regarding continuity of care,self-care ability,psychological symptoms,and satisfaction with care.RESULTS The emergency department nursing interventions significantly improved the continuity of care,enhanced patients’self-care abilities,and reduced psycho-logical symptoms such as anxiety and depression.CONCLUSION Nursing interventions in the emergency department positively impact continuity of care,self-care,and psychological symptoms.However,it is important to acknowledge the limitations of this study,including the small number of studies,variable methodological quality,and the heterogeneity of the study population.Future research should address these limitations and further explore the effects of different types of nursing interventions in the emergency department.Additionally,efforts should be made to enhance the application and evaluation of these interventions in clinical practice.

Since the British National Archive put forward the concept of the digital continuity in 2007,several developed countries have worked out their digital continuity action plan.However,the technologies of the digital continuity guarantee are still lacked.At first,this paper analyzes the requirements of digital continuity guarantee for electronic record based on data quality theory,then points out the necessity of data quality guarantee for electronic record.Moreover,we convert the digital continuity guarantee of electronic record to ensure the consistency,completeness and timeliness of electronic record,and construct the first technology framework of the digital continuity guarantee for electronic record.Finally,the temporal functional dependencies technology is utilized to build the first integration method to insure the consistency,completeness and timeliness of electronic record.

Global Continuity Adjustment and Local Shape Optimization Technique for Complex Trimmed Surface Model

Smoothly stitching multiple surfaces mainly represented by B-spline or NURBS together is an extremely important issue in complex surfaces modeling and reverse engineering. In recent years, a lot of progress has been made in smooth join of non-trimmed surface patches, while there has been seldom research on smoothly stitching trimmed surface patches together. This paper studies the problem of global continuity adjustment, damaged hole repair and local shape optimization for complex trimmed surface model, and presents a uniform scheme to deal with continuity adjustment of trimmed surfaces and geometric repair of local broken region. Constrained B-spline surface refitting technique and trim calculation are first utilized to achieve global G^1 continuity, and then local shape optimization functional is adopted to reduce fitting error and improve local quality of refitted surface patch. The proposed approach is applied to a discontinuity ship hull surface model with an irregular hole, and the result demonstrates the validation of our method. Furthermore, on the premise of global continuity, the proposed locally repairing damaged surface model provides a better foundation for following research work, such as topology recovery technique for complex surface model after geometric repair.

Hydrocarbon Vertical Continuity Evaluation in the Cretaceous Reservoirs of Azadegan Oilfield, Southwest of Iran: Implications for Reservoir Geochemistry

A collection of data obtained from analytical methods in geochemistry along with the reservoir engineering and geologic data were used to investigate the reservoir continuity in the Cretaceous Fahliyan, Gadavan, Kazhdumi and Sarvak reservoirs of the super-giant Azadegan oilfield, SW Iran. The geochemical data indicate that the oil samples, with medium to high level of thermal maturity, have been generated from the anoxic marine marl/carbonate source rock(s). The Sargelu(Jurassic) and Garau(Cretaceous) formations are introduced as the main source rocks for the studied oils. The dendrogram obtained from the cluster analysis of high-resolution gas chromatography data introduces two main oil groups including Fahliyan reservoir, and Kazhdumi along with Sarvak/Gadvan reservoirs. This is confirmed by C7 Halpern star diagram, indicating that, the light oil fraction from Fahliyan reservoir is distinct from the others. Also, different pressure gradient of the Fahliyan Formation(over-pressured) relative to other reservoirs(normally-pressured) show the presence of compartments. The relation between toluene/n-heptane and n-heptane/methylcyclohexane represents the compartmentalization due to maturation/evaporative fractionation for Fahliyan and water washing for other studied reservoirs. Also, the impermeable upper part of the Fahliyan Formation and thin interbedded shaly layers in the Kazhdumi, Sarvak and Gadvan formations have controlled reservoir compartmentalization.

PRACTICAL G^2 CONTINUITY ALGORITHMS BETWEEN ADJACENT NURBS PATCHES

This paper presents a G2continuity condition between adjacent NURBS patches along common quadratic boundarycurve and deduces a specific algorithm for control Points and weights of NURBS patch.For making another NURBS patch and one given NURBS patch to attain G2, according toalgorithms condition, one can adjust another patch control ponts and weights. It is muchmore convenient for engineers to apply.

Hlder continuity of two types of bidirectionally coupled generalised synchronisation manifold

This paper studies the existence of HSlder continuity of bidireetionally coupled generalised synchronisation （GS）. Based on the slaving principle of synergetics and the modified system approach, it classifies the GS into several types. The existences of two main types of HSlder continuous bidirectionally coupled CS inertial manifolds are theoretically analysed and proved by using the Schauder fixed point theorem. Numerical simulations illustrate the theoretical results.

A class of twostep continuity Runge-Kutta methods for solving singular delay differential equations and its convergence

An idea of relaxing the effect of delay when computing the Runge-Kutta stages in the current step and a class of two-step continuity Runge-Kutta methods （TSCRK） is presented. Their construction, their order conditions and their convergence are studied. The two-step continuity Runge-Kutta methods possess good numerical stability properties and higher stage-order, and keep the explicit process of computing the Runge-Kutta stages. The numerical experiments show that the TSCRK methods are efficient.

Continuity of Care during Care Transition: Nurses’ Experiences and Challenges

The aim of this study was to gain increased knowledge about nurses’ experiences of care transition of older patients from hospital to municipal health care, based on two research questions: How is nurses’ experience continuity during care transition of older patients from hospital to municipal health care? How would nurses describe an optimal care transition? Nurses have a pivotal role during care transitions of older patients. More knowledge about their experiences is necessary to develop favorable improvements for this important period in the older patient’s treatment and care. The study has a qualitative explorative design with follow-up focus group interviews. Nurses (N = 30) working in hospital (n = 16) and municipal (n = 14) health care were organized in five mixed focus groups during the period October-January 2014/2015. The focus groups met twice, answering the research questions following a previously circulated semi-structured interview guide. The interview analysis was inspired by content analysis. The analysis resulted in the themes “Administrative demands challenge terms for collaboration” and “Essentials for nursing determine optimal care transitions for older patients”. Administrative demands may prevent nurses’ professional dialogue and collaboration across health care levels. Older patients’ best interests should be ensured through a collaborative relationship between hospital and municipal nurses, to form continuous care across health care levels. Clinical practice should be aware of essentials for nursing, which could influence and facilitate a more individualized and continuous transition for older patients.

Approximation of conic section by quartic Bzier curve with endpoints continuity condition

A new method for approximation of conic section by quartic B′ezier curve is presented, based on the quartic B′ezier approximation of circular arcs. Here we give an upper bound of the Hausdorff distance between the conic section and the approximation curve, and show that the error bounds have the approximation order of eight. Furthermore, our method yields quartic G2 continuous spline approximation of conic section when using the subdivision scheme,and the effectiveness of this method is demonstrated by some numerical examples.

The Strong Continuity Hypothesis: Evidence from Arabic-speaking children data

This paper examines the acquisition of subject-verb agreement inflections in the natural speech corpus of two mono-lingual children speaking Yemeni Ibbi Arabic(YIA)between 2 and 3 years old.The two children are Ibrahim and Wala(between the age of 2;1 and 2;10)with Mean Lenghth of Utterance(MLU)range of 2.72 to 3.23 for Ibrahim and 2.9 to 3.27 for Wala.YIA,as a variety of Arabic,has rich and complex morphological system with a fusional type.Verbs are inflected with tense and agreement.Each verbal inflection is marked for person,number,and gender agreement.However,this paper attempts to explore how agreement forms are acquired by YIA-speaking children and examines when YIA children distinguish between first,second,and third person agreement,singular and plural,masculine and feminine agreement forms.The paper argues that agreement inflections(person,number,gender)are available to children early,thereby supporting the Strong Continuity Hypothesis(Lust,1999).Moreover,the results give evidence to Wexler’s Hypothesis(1998),Very Early Knowledge of Inflection(VEKI),which says that children know the grammatical and phonological properties of inflections in a language in the earliest stages when they enter the two-word stage.Similarly,this study tests Hoekstra and Hyams’(1995)Early Morpho-syntactic Convergence(EMC)which proposed that children acquire the specifics of inflections of the target language at an early stage.
