A new gas preparation system(GasPS-RCS)is proposed to solve two tasks:(A)to heat helium gas for tank pressurization;(B)to prepare gas for the Launch Vehicle(LV)Reactive Control System(RCS)at the LV orientation and sta...A new gas preparation system(GasPS-RCS)is proposed to solve two tasks:(A)to heat helium gas for tank pressurization;(B)to prepare gas for the Launch Vehicle(LV)Reactive Control System(RCS)at the LV orientation and stabilization sections of the LV on passive parts of the flight trajectory,to provide conditions for launching the Liquid Rocket Engine(LRE).The system includes a gas generator based on hydrogen peroxide,a separator for water separation,heat exchangers independent of the LRE,and gas-jet nozzles.The proposed new system allowed to reduce the length of pressurizing gas lines and reduce the increased helium gas consumption during the heat exchanger warm-up interval of the LRE during its launch.A special advantage of the proposed system is the possibility of ground testing of heat exchangers without an operating LRE.A mathematical model based on the first law of thermodynamics was used to perform a comparative analysis of GasPS-RCS with traditional pressurization and RCS systems.To validate the mathematical model,the experimental studies of helium pressurizing of a liquid nitrogen tank were conducted.The results show that the deviation of experimental and calculated values for pressure is 1.1%and for temperature up to 2%.According to the results of comparative analysis,the GasPS-RCS is 259 kg lighter for the first stage and 80 kg lighter for the second stage of the LV.展开更多

Background:Hydrogen bonding interaction was considered to play a critical role in controlling drug release from transdermal patch.However,the quantitative evaluation of hydrogen bonding strength between drug and polar...Background:Hydrogen bonding interaction was considered to play a critical role in controlling drug release from transdermal patch.However,the quantitative evaluation of hydrogen bonding strength between drug and polar functional group was rarely reported,and the relationship between hydrogen bonding strength and controlled release capacity of pressure sensitive adhesive(PSA)was not well understood.The present study shed light on this relationship.Methods:Acrylate PSAs with amide group were synthesized by a free radical-initiated solution polymerization.Six drugs,i.e.,etodolac,ketoprofen,gemfibrozil,zolmitriptan,propranolol and lidocaine,were selected as model drugs.In vitro drug release and skin permeation experiments and in vivo pharmacokinetic experiment were performed.Partial correlation analysis,fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and molecular simulation were conducted to provide molecular details of drug-PSA interactions.Mechanical test,rheology study,and modulated differential scanning calorimetry study were performed to scrutinize the free volume and molecular mobility of PSAs.Results:Release rate of all six drugs from amide PSAs decreased with the increase of amide group concentrations;however,only zolmitriptan and propranolol showed decreased skin permeation rate.It was found that drug release was controlled by amide group through hydrogen bonding,and controlled release extent was positively correlated with hydrogen bonding strength.Conclusion:From these results,we concluded that drugs with strong hydrogen bond forming ability and high skin permeation were suitable to use amide PSAs to regulate their release rate from patch.展开更多
The dynamic response of fuel cell vehicle is greatly affected by the pressure of reactants.Besides,the pressure difference between anode and cathode will also cause mechanical damage to proton exchange membrane.For ma...The dynamic response of fuel cell vehicle is greatly affected by the pressure of reactants.Besides,the pressure difference between anode and cathode will also cause mechanical damage to proton exchange membrane.For maintaining the relative stability of anode pressure,this study proposes a decentralized model predictive controller(DMPC)to control the anodic supply system composed of a feeding and returning ejector assembly.Considering the important influence of load current on the system,the piecewise linearization approach and state space with current-induced disturbance compensation are com-paratively analyzed.Then,an innovative switching strategy is proposed to prevent frequent switching of the sub-model-based controllers and to ensure the most appropriate predictive model is applied.Finally,simulation results demonstrate the better stability and robustness of the proposed control schemes compared with the traditional proportion integration differentia-tion controller under the step load current,variable target and purge disturbance conditions.In particular,in the case of the DC bus load current of a fuel cell hybrid vehicle,the DMPC controller with current-induced disturbance compensation has better stability and target tracking performance with an average error of 0.15 kPa and root mean square error of 1.07 kPa.展开更多
