Combined Insights from Leachate Structure and Microstructure Characteristics for Eating Quality of Convenience Rice Processed by Super-Heated and Pressurized Steam Technologies

Convenience rice has become widely popular due to its easy availability for cooking. This study investigated the starch structure and composition of leachate and the microstructure of reheated convenience rice using novel processing technologies: super-heated steaming(SHS), auto-electric cooking(AEC), and pressurized-steam cooking(PSC). Additionally, the effect of two different target water contents(58% and 63%) was also evaluated. The PSC_63% sample had the highest total solids and amylopectin amount in the leachate. The amylopectin amount in the leachate differed significantly based on the targeted water content. Morphological characterization revealed that the swelling of starch and the coated layer on the surface of rice grains were most pronounced in the PSC_63% sample due to the pressure processing. The textural hardness of the AEC_58% sample was much higher than that of the other samples. The PSC_63% sample had the highest textural adhesiveness value, which can be attributed to the highest amylopectin amount in the leachate. Sensory characterization showed that the PSC_63% sample had the highest glossiness, whiteness, moistness, and overall acceptability. The principal component analysis score plots presented substantial differences in the leachate and textural and sensory characteristics of reheated convenience rice among the different processing technologies.

This paper describes the direct oxidation of pyridines to pyridine-N-oxides by means of 30% H2O2 in aq media in the presence of Na2WO4.2H(2)O as catalyst instead of with per-acids or 30% H2O2 in acetic acid. Good yields were obtained.

Evaluation of Control Effects against Sugarcane Pests：A New Sustained-release and Long-lasting Pesticide and Convenient and Efficient Pesticide Application Technology

[Objective]The paper was to screen a new ideal sustained-release,long-lasting and low-toxic pesticide and convenient and efficient pesticide application technology for controlling Ceratovacuna lanigera and Baliathrips serratus. [Method]2% Imidacloprid GR were selected and applied in the soil for field efficacy trial. [Result] The optimum dosage of 2% imidacloprid GR was 30 kg/hm^2（ active ingredient 600 g）,which can be mixed with fertilizer（ 30 kg pesticide and 40-80 kg fertilizer per hm^2） once combined with sugarcane planting management or big ridging during February and June. The control effects against C. lanigera and B. serratus could be more than 98. 2% and 81. 1%,respectively. The actual yield and sugar content in various pesticide treatments were increased by 33 390 kg/hm^2 and 6. 6% respectively compared to blank control. [Conclusion]2% imidacloprid GR has good control effects on C. lanigera and B. serratus. It is a new pesticide with ideal sustained-release,long-lasting and low-toxin effects against C. lanigera and B. serratus. Therefore,it could be used alternatively with other pesticides,to delay production and development of drug resistance.

Three-dimensional Construction of Convenient Travel System for the Elderly

Population aging brings a severe challenge to all social systems.In recent years,laws and policies at the central and local levels have provided many norms and guidelines to ensure accessible travel for elderly people.However,there are still some challenges in practice,such as vague standards for a barrier-free environment,uneven satisfaction with barrier-free public transport,the unbalanced supply of public services,and the gap in information intelligence.The three dimensions of concept,system,and multiple social subjects should be highlighted in order to strengthen the protection of convenient travel for the elderly.We should consolidate“inclusiveness,”“positivity,”and“mainstreaming”as the internal nutrients of the system,keep polishing the system and improving the system effect,and give full play to market forces and stimulate the functions of industrial and commercial enterprises.

A Convenient method for the synthesis of fused phosphorusheterocycle 1,3,2-oxazaphosphorin-[3.2-a]-8-oxo-10-thio(or seleno)-[1,3,2]-benzodiazaphosphorines was carried out in one pot by the reaction of Tris(diethylamino)phosphine with multifunctional compounds 2-(N-(beta or gamma-hydroxyl) alkylene) amino-benzamides 1. When PCL3 was used, only chlorinated product was obtained.

A CONVENIENT ASYMMETRIC SYNTHESIS OF 1-AMINOALKYLPHOSPHONIC ACIDS^+

A convenient method for the asymmetric synthesis of 1-amino- alkylphosphonic acids was described.It involved the diastereoselctive alkylation of bicyclic chloromethylphosphonamide derived from(S)-2-ani- linomethylpyrrolidine followed by subsequent conversions leading to amino compounds by Staudinger method.Acid hydrolysis afforded the target molecule in good yield.

Feasibility Study of Optimal Sizing of Micro-Cogeneration System for Convenience Stores in Bangkok

In this paper, the optimization of micro-cogeneration (μ-CHP) system sizing for convenience stores in Thailand is conducted under the present condition of fuel prices and tariff rates. The assessment of (μ-CHP) system performance is analyzed by using Primary Energy Saving (PES) Ratio for evaluating the energy performance. Also, the Annual Cost Saving Ratio (CSR) and Payback Period (PBP) are used for evaluating the economic performance of μ-CHP system. The analysis results show the optimal size of μ-CHP system under possible conditions including the operating schedule and system’s efficiency were conducted.

A simple and general method for the synthesis of bi(acyl)disulfides is reported.Sulfur is allowed to react with sodium hydroxide to give sodium disulfide at 65℃ under PTC,which can react with acyl halides to afford bi(acyl)disulfides in good to excellent isolated yields.The effects of solvents and phase transfer catalysts are discussed.

Operational Methods for Ships in Waves From Perspectives of Structure Health and Maneuvering Convenience

Based on the stress-strain data collected by a CSSMAS （container ship structure monitoring and analyzing system） onboard a container vessel, stress-strain responses of the ship＇s structure in high wave were analyzed and illustrated for the identification of reasonable safe course sections. Besides the ship＇s structure safety, the maneuvering convenience is also deemed as a main concern which influences the safety of vessels in heavy waves. In order to develop a comprehensive guidance in adverse weather condition, the basic requirements on maneuvering convenience for vessels in storm were further discussed. In combination of the two requirements, namely structure health and maneuvering convenience, a proposed operational method was thus developed, which was an amendment to the traditional navigational method for ship in extreme weather. At the end of this paper, an example of optimal course planning in bad weather was illustrated by using the operational method proposed.

Convenience Analysis of Public Service Facilities in the Walking Circle of Urban Housing Estates

A walkable urban built environment with convenient facilities is the key to improve the living quality of urban residents and build a livable city in the new era.Taking each urban housing estate as the center and based on walking accessibility,the walking circle of housing estates was constructed.Taking the six functional systems of convenient shopping,catering service,fi nancial service,scientifi c research and education,leisure and entertainment,and medical service as evaluation factors,and considering the actual frequency of residents’use of various public service facilities and the reduction of walking,the convenience evaluation system of public service facilities was established.Taking the urban built environment within the Second Ring Road of Shijiazhuang City,Hebei Province as an example,it is found that the convenience of public service facilities in the walking circle of housing estates within the Second Ring Road presented a circular layer distribution of“low outside and high inside”.This study will provide the reference for urban renewal and renovation and improvement of facilities.
