It shorten...With the wide application of the magnesia-graphite refractory having a high-thermal-conductivity in BOF vessels for extending the furnace campaign, furnace shell deformation has become increasingly serious. It shortened the furnace campaign and reduced the production. The paper presents the work on increasing the life-span of the furnace shell at Baosteel, which includes the shell renovation, the study on the creep deformation resisting shell plates and the application of the air cooling method to the BOF shell. The results and limitations of these technologies are discussed.展开更多

The results show that the shape of MC carbide ...The influence of different cooling during heat treatment on microstructure and stress rupture property of DZ951 alloy was investigated by optical microscope, SEM and TEM. The results show that the shape of MC carbide changes from Chinese script in as-cast alloy to small block with different cooling ways. The size of γ′ phase decreases and the shape of γ′ phase changes from cuboid to sphere with the increase of cooling rate. The γ′ phase splits into eight small cuboids when the alloy is cooled by furnace cooling. The stress rupture life of the samples by air cooling is superior to that by other cooling way.展开更多
The hypervapotron(HV),as an enhanced heat transfer technique,will be used for ITER divertor components in the dome region as well as the enhanced heat flux first wall panels.W-Cu brazing technology has been develope...The hypervapotron(HV),as an enhanced heat transfer technique,will be used for ITER divertor components in the dome region as well as the enhanced heat flux first wall panels.W-Cu brazing technology has been developed at SWIP(Southwestern Institute of Physics),and one W/CuCrZr/316 LN component of 450 mm×52 mm×166 mm with HV cooling channels will be fabricated for high heat flux(HHF) tests.Before that a relevant analysis was carried out to optimize the structure of divertor component elements.ANSYS-CFX was used in CFD analysis and ABAQUS was adopted for thermal-mechanical calculations.Commercial code FE-SAFE was adopted to compute the fatigue life of the component.The tile size,thickness of tungsten tiles and the slit width among tungsten tiles were optimized and its HHF performances under International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor(ITER) loading conditions were simulated.One brand new tokamak HL-2M with advanced divertor configuration is under construction in SWIP,where ITER-like flat-tile divertor components are adopted.This optimized design is expected to supply valuable data for HL-2M tokamak.展开更多

T...Essential bibliography, with therein references included, is presented owing to the contribution of the author groups to Mitochondrial Filamentation, which is a new emerging field of physiological energy metabolism. These studies provide the first seed concept for trials to extend the metabolic life, for a few days, in low order laboratory mammals killed by electrocution, as a first type of accidental death. It is proposed, essentially, to cool out the corpses very soon after death at 12oC-14oC and take advantage of the effect super magnetism to counteract the force of gravity to install a net recurrent cycle of oxygen consumption and oxygen production by filamented mitochondria in all the organism tissues. Once the cause of death had been corrected adequately, it is possible to try the reanimation to experience the full life of the corpse with highly sophisticated methodology.展开更多
