Regional container transportation system for Northeast Asia economic cooperation in the 21^(st) century

In this paper, the roles of infrastructure development and transportation coordination for Northeast Asian economic cooperation are discussed. It would be necessary to establish an efficient transportation network as soon as possible. 'Hub-and-Spoke'transportation system and China-Korean peninsula railway container transportation system might be more significant for regional economic cooperation.

Discreet investors exert greater influence on cooperation in the public goods game

This paper studies the evolutionary process of cooperative behavior in a public goods game model with heterogeneous investment strategies in square lattices.In the proposed model,players are divided into defectors,cooperators and discreet investors.Among these,defectors do not participate in investing,discreet investors make heterogeneous investments based on the investment behavior and cooperation value of their neighbors,and cooperators invest equally in each neighbor.In real life,heterogeneous investment is often accompanied by time or economic costs.The discreet investors in this paper pay a certain price to obtain their neighbors'investment behavior and cooperation value,which quantifies the time and economic costs of the heterogeneous investment process.The results of Monte Carlo simulation experiments in this study show that discreet investors can effectively resist the invasion of the defectors,form a stable cooperative group and expand the cooperative advantage in evolution.However,when discreet investors pay too high a price,they lose their strategic advantage.The results in this paper help us understand the role of heterogeneous investment in promoting and maintaining human social cooperation.

Correlation between breast cancer and lifestyle within the Gulf Cooperation Council countries:A systematic review

BACKGROUND In the six Gulf Cooperation Council countries(GCCCs),Bahrain,Saudi Arabia,Kuwait,Oman,Qatar and the United Arab Emirates,breast cancer(BC)is the greatest cause of cancer incidence and mortality.Obesity and physical inactivity are established risk factors for BC globally and appear to be more of a problem in high income countries like the GCCCs.AIM To determine whether obesity and physical inactivity are associated with BC incidence in the GCCCs using the United Kingdom as a comparator.METHODS This systematic review was carried out according to PRISMA guidelines.A cancer registry and a statistical data search was done to identify the BC incidence over the past two decades and the prevalence of obesity and physical inactivity in the GCCCs.Additionally,a systematic search of the databases,MEDLINE,Web of Science,and PubMed between 1999 and 2019 was performed to determine whether obesity and physical inactivity are risk factors for BC in the GCCCs.All papers were critically appraised according to their research methods and were assessed for quality and risk of bias.RESULTS BC was the top malignancy in each GCC country.Women tended to be diagnosed with BC at a younger age than women in the United Kingdom.The greatest 10-year increase in BC incidence was seen in Saudi Arabia(54.2%),,approximately seven times the rate of increase seen in the United Kingdom(7.6%).The prevalence of obesity and physical inactivity was greater in all the GCCCs in comparison to the United Kingdom.A total of 155 full studies were reviewed of which 17 were included.Of those,eight looked at the prevalence of obesity and physical inactivity in the Gulf States and nine looked at these as risk factors for BC.Only one study found an association between BC and obesity(odds ratio=2.29).No studies looked solely at the link between physical inactivity and BC.CONCLUSION The prevalence of obesity and physical inactivity was high within the GCCCs,but the majority of the included studies found no positive correlation between obesity or physical inactivity and BC.A high proportion of women in this study were pre-menopausal which could contribute to the negative findings.

On the Cooperation Between China and the Non-Aligned Movement in the Field of the Right to Development and its Prospects

China and the Non-Aligned Movement share the same goals,a common code of conduct,and similar ideas in protecting the right to development,and the two have a solid foundation for cooper-ation.Both emphasize that the right to development is a basic human right,strive to elevate the right to development to a mainstream hu-man right,and jointly advocate placing the right to development at the center of the agenda.They work together to enhance the strategic sta-tus of the right to development.Both of them have participated in the formulation of the Declaration on the Right to Development,and col-laborated to improve the Declaration.They have also jointly proposed the resolution on the right to development,and supported the drafting of the Convention on the Right to Development to advance the codifi-cation of the right to development.Both of them uphold South-South cooperation and promote North-South dialogue and cooperation.They have established a support mechanism to promote international cooperation on the right to development in a coordinated manner.The cooperation between China and the Non-Aligned Movement in pro-tecting the right to development has broken the past Western-centered paradigm of human rights development,broadened the international perspective of the human rights cause,and played a crucial role in the formation of international human rights norms.In the future,oppor-tunities and challenges coexist for cooperation between the two sides,with promising prospects.China’s cooperation with the Non-Aligned Movement in the protection of the right to development has accumulat-ed valuable and inspirational experiences for the human rights cause of developing countries and the building of the international human rights system.。

Cell adhesion plays pivotal roles in the morphogenesis of multicellular organisms.Epithelial cells form several types of cell-to-cell adhesion,including zonula occludens(tight junctions),zonula adhaerens(adherens junctions),and macula adhaerens(desmosomes).Although these adhesion complexes are basically observed only in epithelial cells,cadherins,which are the major cell adhesion molecules of adherens junctions,are expressed in both epithelial and non-epithelial tissues,including neural tissues(Kawauchi,2012).The cadherin superfamily consists of more than 100 members,but classic cadherins.

Application Analysis of Doctor-Nurse Cooperation Follow-up Model Based on the Internet Platform in Continuation Care of Patients after Urooncology Surgery

Objective:To explore the application effect of a doctor-nurse cooperation follow-up model based on an Internet platform in the continuation of care for patients after uro-oncology surgery.Methods:A convenient sampling method was used to select patients with urinary system tumors who underwent surgery in the Department of Urology in Grade III A general hospital in Shanghai from May to August 2022.Patients who underwent surgery from May to June 2022 were assigned to the control group,and those who underwent surgery from July to August 2022 were assigned to the experimental group.The control group received routine post-discharge nursing health education and telephone follow-up.On the basis of routine discharge guidance,the experimental group implemented the intervention method based on the Internet platform in continuation care.The levels of self-management efficacy,satisfaction,and incidence of unplanned readmission were compared one month after discharge between the two groups.Results:One month after discharge,the self-management efficacy of the experimental group(90.15±7.92)was significantly higher than that of the control group(79.10±7.84),and the patient satisfaction score(97.83±2.32)was significantly higher than that of the control group(90.23±2.58),with statistical significance(P<0.05).Additionally,the incidence of unplanned readmissions within one month after discharge in the experimental group(1.59%)was slightly lower than that in the control group(4.84%).Conclusion:The doctor-nurse cooperation follow-up model based on the Internet platform in continuation care can significantly improve the self-management efficiency of patients after discharge and enhance patient satisfaction,providing a new approach for discharge follow-up of urological tumor patients after surgery.

Analysis of the Dynamics of Policy Changes in the International Border Cooperation Center under the Perspective of Multi-Source Flow Theory

The China-Kazakhstan Horgos Frontier International Cooperation Center has been established for nearly 20 years,and its targeted policies have gone through the stages of initiative,negotiation and modification,official operation,and optimization and enhancement.This paper explores the problems,policy,and political sources of policy changes since the establishment of the Horgos International Border Cooperation Center by applying the multi-source flow theory to find the opening of the problematic and political windows.It also constructs a model of policy change dynamics to provide suggestions on how the government should better promote the good development of China’s first transnational cooperation center.

Energy cooperation in quantum thermoelectric systems with multiple electric currents

The energy efficiency and output power of a quantum thermoelectric system with multiple electric currents and only one heat current are studied.The system is connected to the hot heat bath(cold bath)through one terminal(multiple terminals).In such configurations,there are multiple thermoelectric effects coexisting in the system.Using the Landauer–Buttiker formalism,we show that the cooperation between the two thermoelectric effects in the three-terminal thermoelectric systems can lead to markedly improved performance of the heat engine.Such improvement also occurs in four-terminal thermoelectric heat engines with three output electric currents.Cooperative effects in these multi-terminal thermoelectric systems can considerably enlarge the physical parameter region that realizes high energy efficiency and output power.For refrigeration,we find that the energy efficiency can also be substantially improved by exploiting the cooperative effects in multi-terminal thermoelectric systems.All these results reveal a useful approach toward high-performance thermoelectric energy conversion in multi-terminal mesoscopic systems.

The healthcare system＇s approach considers the complexity and interactions between organized elements. In continuous processing, healthcare systems are affected by their constituent elements, themselves modified with each system change. To secure and optimize the system of care, collaboration between levels is necessary. Almost no documented experience to better coordination of levels of care in the Belgian system is available. To improve the quality of care, the system needs collaborative coordination between stakeholders. Good coordination improves the quality of patient care, it makes quality more efficient and optimal care. This coordination between care lines must be collaborative. Interactional communication is the founding element of inter-professional collaboration. A good self-esteem improves the relationship between actors in the health system and supports the initiatives and adaptability. It contributes therefore to an increase of the quality of care. The interactional Local Health System promotes cooperation in the relevant health network. Consultation and coordination between the actors involved and motivated bring care quality and operational solutions. This dynamic modality of exchanges appears fruitful as participants continue to meet and coordinate care, even after the official end of the action-research. The climate became conducive to solving real problems through the skills developed in the LHS.
