To integrate the satellite communications with the LTE/5G services, the concept of Hybrid Satellite Terrestrial Relay Networks(HSTRNs) has been proposed. In this paper, we investigate the secure transmission in a HSTRN where the eavesdropper can wiretap the transmitted messages from both the satellite and the intermediate relays. To effectively protect the message from wiretapping in these two phases, we consider cooperative jamming by the relays, where the jamming signals are optimized to maximize the secrecy rate under the total power constraint of relays. In the first phase, the Maximal Ratio Transmission(MRT) scheme is used to maximize the secrecy rate, while in the second phase, by interpolating between the sub-optimal MRT scheme and the null-space projection scheme, the optimal scheme can be obtained via an efficient one-dimensional searching method. Simulation results show that when the number of cooperative relays is small, the performance of the optimal scheme significantly outperforms that of MRT and null-space projection scheme. When the number of relays increases, the performance of the null-space projection approaches that of the optimal one. 展开更多

In this paper,we design a friendly jammer selection scheme for the social Internet of Things(IoT).A typical social IoT is composed of a cellular network with underlaying Device-to-Device(D2D)communications.In our scheme,we consider signal characteristics over a physical layer and social attribute information of an application layer simultaneously.Using signal characteristics,one of the D2D gadgets is selected as a friendly jammer to improve the secrecy performance of a cellular device.In return,the selected D2D gadget is allowed to reuse spectrum resources of the cellular device.Using social relationship,we analyze and quantify the social intimacy degree among the nodes in IoT to design an adaptive communication time threshold.Applying an artificial intelligence forecasting model,we further forecast and update the intimacy degree,and then screen and filter potential devices to effectively reduce the detection and calculation costs.Finally,we propose an optimal scheme to integrate the virtual social relationship with actual communication systems.To select the optimal D2D gadget as a friendly jammer,we apply Kuhn-Munkres(KM)algorithm to solve the maximization problem of social intimacy and cooperative jamming.Comprehensive numerical results are presented to validate the performance of our scheme. 展开更多

The ultra-dense low earth orbit(LEO)integrated satellite-terrestrial networks(UDLEO-ISTN)can bring lots of benefits in terms of wide coverage,high capacity,and strong robustness.Meanwhile,the broadcasting and open natures of satellite links also reveal many challenges for transmission security protection,especially for eavesdropping defence.How to efficiently take advantage of the LEO satellite’s density and ensure the secure communication by leveraging physical layer security with the cooperation of jammers deserves further investigation.To our knowledge,using satellites as jammers in UDLEO-ISTN is still a new problem since existing works mainly focused on this issue only from the aspect of terrestrial networks.To this end,we study in this paper the cooperative secrecy communication problem in UDLEOISTN by utilizing several satellites to send jamming signal to the eavesdroppers.An iterative scheme is proposed as our solution to maximize the system secrecy energy efficiency(SEE)via jointly optimizing transmit power allocation and user association.Extensive experiment results verify that our designed optimization scheme can significantly enhance the system SEE and achieve the optimal power allocation and user association strategies. 展开更多

Some symbols which relevant to the CJWTA are defined firstly. Then, a formulation of jamming fitness is presented. Final y, a model of the CJWTA problem is constructed. In order to solve the CJWTA problem efficiently, a self-adaptive learning based discrete differential evolution (SLDDE) algorithm is proposed by introduc-ing a self-adaptive learning mechanism into the traditional discrete differential evolution algorithm. The SLDDE algorithm steers four candidate solution generation strategies simultaneously in the framework of the self-adaptive learning mechanism. Computa-tional simulations are conducted on ten test instances of CJWTA problem. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed SLDDE algorithm not only can generate better results than only one strategy based discrete differential algorithms, but also outper-forms two algorithms which are proposed recently for the weapon-target assignment problems. 展开更多

Cooperative jamming(CJ)is one of the important methods to solve security problems of underwater acoustic sensor networks(UASNs).In this paper,we propose a Cooperative Jamming Scheme based on Node Authentication for UASNs to improve the effect of CJ by selecting suitable jamming source for found illegal nodes.In the node authentication,all nodes will be identified by their trust value(TV).TV is calculated according to three types of evidence:channel-based trust evidence,behavior-based trust evidence and energy-based trust evidence.Besides,to deal with cases where legal nodes may be suspected,the historical TV and trust redemption will be considered when calculating TV.In cooperative jamming,according to the link quality,several nodes are selected to jam illegal nodes.Both simulation and field experiment show that the proposed scheme can accurately find the illegal nodes in the time-vary channel and improve the security of the network. 展开更多

The satellite communications security is often threatened dueto its broadcasting nature. To enhance the physical layer security (PLS) of satellite communications with channel similarity, an aerial RIS-aided dual full-duplex (DFD-ARIS) cooperative jamming method is presented in this paper. Specifically, unlike the existing works that relied onchannel difference, DFD-ARIS utilizes the channel similarity against the eavesdroppers with thehelp of ARIS. In addition, the power allocation is further studied in conjunction with the phasedesign of RIS to minimize the total power under the constraints of data rate, satellite powerlimitation and secrecy rate. Then, the closed-form solutions are achieved. Simulation results showthat the performance of the proposed scheme is superior to the traditional method. 展开更多
