The coordination sphere of each Gd atom is completed by three aqua ligands [Gd-O=0.242 8(5)-0.244 4(4) nm] to form an 8 coordinated distorted square antiprism. The central Cu atom is coordinated by two oxygen atoms from the two bridging acetato groups and two oxygen atoms from the two monodentate acetato groups in a slightly distorted square planar fashion, while each terminal Cu atom is coordinated by the four acetato oxygen atoms at the basal plane and an aqua ligand at the apical position to form a square pyramid. The variable temperature (4 320 K) magnetic susceptibility data of the Gd complex were measured, and fitted to the Curie Weiss law with C =16.38 K cm 3·mol -1 and θ =-1.55 K, indicating very weak antiferromagnetic interaction.展开更多

Treatment of L1~5(1~5) with copper acetate in a molar ratio of 2:1 in dichloromethane led to the formation of homoleptic Cu(Ⅱ) complexes trans-L2n’Cu(9~13), in which the Cu(Ⅱ) center was stabilized by deprotonated ligands Ln’(n = 1~5) in the O,N-bidentate mode. When similar reactions of L6(Ph–Ar’–Ph)(6) and L7(Ph–Ar’’–Ph)(7) that contain unbalanced arms were investigated, the Cu(Ⅱ) products trans-L26’Cu(14) and trans-L27’Cu(15) were formed by deprotonating the bulky amine groups in Ln(-NHAr’ for L6 and-NHAr’’ for L7) rather than the-NHPh group. In sharp contrast, trans-L28’Cu(16) was obtained from two-arm unbalanced L8(Ph–Ar’’–Ar’)(8) not by deprotonating the more bulky-NHAr’’ group but the relatively less bulky-NHAr’ group. In a further exploration, the reaction of 1:1 mixed ligands Ln and Lm with copper acetate was found to give only homoleptic Cu(Ⅱ) complex L2n’Cu instead of the heteroleptic one Ln’CuLm’. The in vitro antibacterial activity of Ln was evaluated against S. aureus, E. coli and C. albicans by determining the minimum inhibitory concentrations(MICs) using Kirby-Bauer test.展开更多

Methods Diabetic mouse model was established by intraperitioneal injection of alloxan. Low, middle, and high doses of Cu2(Thr)4 at 0.002%, 0.02% and 0.1% were given respectively to diabetic mice following lavage. The fasting blood glucose was determined after the diabetic mice were given Cu2 (Thr)4 for 0, 30, and 45 d. The diabetic mice were killed on the 45th day. Then glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc) and blood lipids were assayed, and pathologic changes in hearts and kidneys stained with HE were observed. Results Compared with the control group in which the diabetic mice were given distilled water, the value of blood glucose reduced significantly in middle dose group (P 〈 0.01 ), followed by that in low dose group (P 〈 0.05). TC level reduced markedly and HDL level increased significantly in all three treatment groups (P 〈 0.05). Especially in middle dose group, cardiac muscle fibers were neatly arranged, nucleus and cytoplasm well distributed, glomeruli showing normal structure, cells well distributed and staining being normal. Conclusion Cu2 (Thr)4 reduces blood glucose, regulates blood lipids, and play protective action on the vessels of hearts and kidneys in diabetic mice. The effects of it in middle dose were better than those of other doses.展开更多

Crystal data for 1: orthorhombic, space group Pbca with a = 11.921(4), b = 15.816(6), c = 17.076(6) A, V= 3219.7(19) A^3, C15H17CuN3O5S, Z = 8, Mr = 414.92, De = 1.712 g/cm^3,μ(MoKα) = 1.520 mm^-1, F(000) = 1704, the final R = 0.0300 and wR = 0.0705 for 2840 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ(I); and crystal data for 2: monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 7.929(3), b = 17.038(5), c = 11.734(4) A, β = 98.162(6)°, V = 1569.1(9) A^3, C15H16CuN2O5S, Z = 4, Mr = 399.90, Dc = 1.693 g/cm^3, F(000) = 820,μ(MoKα) = 1.554 mm^-1, the final R = 0.0351 and wR = 0.0848 for 2767 observed reflections (I 〉 2σ(I)). The molecular structure of complex 1 consists of one tetra-coordinated Cu(Ⅱ) atom generating a slightly distorted square plane, and a one-dimensional chain structure is formed by intermolecular hydrogen bonds. Complex 2 consists of a diphenolic hydroxyl O-bridged binuclear copper(Ⅱ) structure. The crystal structures of complexes 1 and 2 reveal that the coordinate copper centers are bound to both nitrogen and oxygen atom donors. The usual N,O-trans arrangement of ligands is observed in both cases.

文摘A series of eight N-mono-substituted aryl acylguanidines L1~8 were synthesized from the reactions of their parent acylthioureas and respective primary amines, including five R1C(O)N=C(NHR2)2 with balanced arms(denoted as R1–R2–R2: Ph–Ar’–Ar’, L1(1);Ph–Ar’’–Ar’’, L2(2);1-Naph–Ar’–Ar’, L3(3);1-Naph–Ar’’–Ar’’, L4(4);2-Naph–Ar’’–Ar’’, L[5(5);Ar’ = 2,6-Me2C6H3, Ar’’ = 2,6-iPr2C6H3) and three R1C(O)N=C(NHR2)NHR3 with unbalanced arms(denoted as R1–R2–R3: Ph–Ar’–Ph, L6(6);Ph–Ar’ –Ph, L7(7);Ph–Ar’ –Ar’, L8(8)). The in vitro antibacterial activity of Ln was evaluated against S. aureus, E. coli and C. albicans by determining the minimum inhibitory concentrations(MICs) using Kirby-Bauer test.
文摘A new kind of Schiff base HL(HL= 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-(p-methylbenzoyl)-5-pyrazolone with L-Leucine methyl ester) and complexes Ni L′_2·0.75C_2H_5OH·0.25H_2O,Cu L′′2(L′ = 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-(p-methylbenzoyl)-5-pyrazolone with L-leucine ethyl,L′′ = 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-(p-methylbenzoyl)-5-pyrazolone with L-leucine) have been synthesized and structurally determined by X-ray diffraction. For HL: crystal structure determination indicates that there are two independent HLs with different conformations in one asymmetric unit. For complex 1: the Ni(Ⅱ) ion is six-coordinated by two carbonyl oxygen atoms from pyrazolone ring, two nitrogen atoms from different HL′ and two oxygen atoms from L-Leucine ethyl ester to form a distorted octahedral geometry. For complex 2: the Cu(Ⅱ) ion is four-coordinated by one carbonyl oxygen atom from the pyrazolone ring, one nitrogen atom from HL′′,and two different carboxylic oxygen atoms from L-leucine with the same conformation to form a distorted quadrilateral geometry.
文摘The cleavage activity of complexes between copper (Ⅱ) and four different amino acidor amino acid methyl ester on DNA was tested at physioloical pH and temperature., It was found that Cu (Ⅱ)-L-His and Cu (Ⅱ)-L-His methyl ester complexes could cleane DNA. The extent ofDNA cleavage is largely dependent on the metal ion-to-ligand ratio. The cleavage of doublestranded DNA mediated by Cu (Ⅱ)-L-His complexes occurs via a hydrolytie mechanism.

The complexes were then used to catalyze the Henry reaction and catalytic activity determined by 1H NMR.
文摘A series of copper (Ⅱ) complexes with pyridine N- oxide- 2- ylmethylidened-ithiocarbazates as ligands were synthesized and characterized by IR spectra, electronic spectra and magnetic moments measurement at room temperature. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibilites (3-300K) of four complexs were measured and fitted with the Bleaney-Bowers dimer equation by considering the magnetic interaction between molecules. The fitting results show the existence of intramolecular ferromagnetic interactions and intermolecu-lar anti-ferromagnetic interactions in these copper( Ⅱ) complexes.
文摘Dinuclear Cu(Ⅱ) complexes (Cu,LCl4). 2H2O and Cu2L'Cl4 are pre-pared and characterized by X-ray structure analysis. (Cu2I-Cl4). 2H2O, C20 H40N6Cu2Cl4O2, Mr=665. 54, monoclinic, 6 for 188l observed reflections with I>3(I). Cu2L'Cl4, C20H36N6Cu2Cl4, M.=629. 41, monoclinic, for 1330 observed reflections with I>3(I). In both complexes the stereo-chemistry about Cu(Ⅱ) is 5-coordinated with two secondary amine N atoms and twoCl- occupying sites at the base of a distorted square pyramid capped by the tertiaryamine N atom. The pair of Cl' attached to the two Cu(Ⅱ) are held in anti configuration.

文摘Two isostructural helical coordination polymers, {[Cu(dps)2(Hssa)-(H2O)2]'3H2O}n (1) and {[Mn(dps)2(Hssa)(H2O)2]'2H2O}n (2), have been synthesized by the solvothermal reaction of dps and Hsssa with CuCI2 or Mn(CH3COO)2 (dps = 4,4'-dipyridylsulfide, H3ssa -- 5- sulfosalicylic acid). Both compounds crystallize in monoclinic, space group P21/n. In either complex, the central metal ion (Cu11 for compound 1 and MnIt for compound 2) is surrounded by one Hssa2- ligand, two coordinated aquas and three dps molecules with a N303 donor set in a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. Half of the dps is monodentate and another half acts as μ2-bridging ligands. It is through the bridging function of dps that the neighbouring metal centers are connected and a one-dimensional helical structure of compound 1 or 2 forms. Fluorescence studies indicate that compounds 1 and 2 have blue emission bands centered at 403 and 405 nm, respectively.

文摘Three novel complexes [Cu(L1)2(H2O)2] (1), [Ni(L1)2(H2O)2]·(H2O)4(2,HL1=5-methyl-1-(4-methylphenyl)-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxylic acid) and [Ni2 (HL2)2(CH3OH)6]·(CH3OH)2(3,H3L2=1,2,3-triazole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and X-ray diffraction. Complexes 1 and 2 are mononuclear structures, and are assembled into a two-dimensional sheet by C(7) H(7)···O(3) weak interactions or hydrogen-bonding interaction. Complex 3 is a centrosymmetric dinuclear structure, and is assembled into a three-dimensional supramolecular structure by hydrogen-bonding interaction.
文摘A new Schiff base (LK) obtained from 2, 4, -dihydroxybenzaldehyde and glycly-DL- phenylalanine reacted with Cu(II), Zn(II), Ni(II) and Co(II) to yield new complexes. The complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, molar conductance, 1H NMR DTA, TG, IR and UV spectroscopy. In these complexes the ligand is coordinated to the metal through its phenolic oxygen, carboxyl oxygen, imino nitrogen and amide nitrogen. All complexes are non-electrolytes and four coordinated with 1:1(metal; ligand) stoichiometry. The probable structure of the complexes is suggested

文摘Two novel mononuclear complexes with 5-chloro-8-(methoxycarbonylmethoxy)quinoline ligand(L), namely, HgLBr2 1 and CuL2Cl2 2, have been prepared by solvothermal reaction of(5-chloro-quinolin-8-yloxy)acetic acid with HgBr2 and CuCl2, respectively. Their structures were characterized by IR, elemental analysis, UV-Vis-NIR spectra, TG and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Interestingly,(5-chloro-quinolin-8-yloxy)acetic acid is changed as 5-chloro-8-(methoxycarbonylmethoxy)quinoline ligand(L) in complexes 1 and 2. In 1, the HgII centre is a distorted trigonal planar geometry comprised of two Br atoms and one quinoline N atom of L. Intermolecular π-π, C–H…π stacking interactions and intermolecular C–H…Br hydrogen bonds are observed in the molecular packing of 1. In complex 2, each CuII center has a distorted octahedral geometry comprised of two chloride ions, two quinoline N atoms and two O atoms of two L ligands. Intermolecular C–H…Cl hydrogen bonds exist in the molecular packing of 2. The fluorescence emission peak of complexes 1 and 2 appears near 406 and 410 nm, respectively. Optical diffuse-reflection spectral results suggest complex 1 has the property of semiconductor.

文摘PSⅡ core antenna complexes, CP43 and CP47, were purified from spinach (Spinacia oleracea L.) by DEAE Fractogel TSK 650S anion exchange chromatography. Their normal temperature (298 K) resonance Raman spectra were measured. The results suggest that all β carotenoids bound to CP43 and CP47 are in all trans configuration and likely in twisted conformations.
文摘Aim To study the effects of binuclear copper (Ⅱ) threonine complex (Cu2 (Thr)4) as analogue of superoxide dismutase (SOD) on blood glucose, blood lipids and vessels of hearts and kidneys in diabetic mice. The effects of it in middle dose were better than those of other doses.
