Furthermore, the internalstructure characteristics of granite under different temperatures were observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that the longitudinal wave velocity assumes a downward trend which shows a rapid drop before falling slowly as the temperature increases. The uniaxial compressive strength of the specimen decreases significantly at temperatures of 25?100 °C compared to that at temperatures of 100?300 °C. The peak strain rises rapidly before the dividing point of 100 °C, but increases slowly after the dividing point. The internal structure of the rock changes substantially as the temperature increases, such as the extension and transfixion of primary and newborn cracks. In addition, the thermal damage under axial pressure is greater than that described by the longitudinal wave velocity and the phenomenon shows obviously when the temperature increases.展开更多

We employed a two-dimensional mode of an inductively coupled plasma to calculate the temperature and flow field of the reactor as well as the generator. The algorithm is based on the solutions of the two-dimensional continuity, momentum, and energy equations in term of vorticity, stream function and enthalpy. An upwind finite-difference scheme was adopted to solve those equations with appropriate boundary conditions. The computed results show that there is a flat region with little parameter change in the reactor, that the diameter of the region is not much larger than that of the generator and that a deep change of parameter exists in the outer side of the region.展开更多

The results show that the HNF abundance ranges from 303 to 1388 mL-1, with a mean of 884 mL-1. The HNF biomass is equivalent to 10.6%-115.6% of that of the bacteria. The maximum abundance of the HNF generally occurred in the upper 30 m water layer, with a vertical distribution pattern of surface layer abundance greater than middle layer abundance, then bottom layer abundance. The hydrological data show that the YSCWM is located in the northeastern part of the study area, typically 40 m beneath the surface. A weak correlation is found be- tween the abundances of HNF and bacteria in both the YSCWM and its above water layer. One-way ANOVA analysis reveals that the abundance of HNF and bacteria differs between inside the YSCWM and in the above water mass. The ingestion rates of the HNF on bacteria was 8.02±3.43 h-1 in average. The grazing rate only represented 22.75%±6.91% of bacterial biomass or 6.55%±4.24% of bacterial production, implying that the HNF razinR was not the major factor contributing to the bacterial loss in the YSCWM areas.展开更多

It has been in operation since November 1, 2007. In this paper we comprehensively present the simulation and verification of the system, whose distinguishing feature is that the wave-induced mixing is coupled in the circulation model. In particular, with nested technique the resolution in the China's seas has been updated to(1/24)° from the global model with(1/2)°resolution. Besides, daily remote sensing sea surface temperature(SST) data have been assimilated into the model to generate a hot restart field for OCFS-C. Moreover, inter-comparisons between forecasting and independent observational data are performed to evaluate the effectiveness of OCFS-C in upper-ocean quantities predictions, including SST, mixed layer depth(MLD) and subsurface temperature. Except in conventional statistical metrics, non-dimensional skill scores(SS) is also used to evaluate forecast skill. Observations from buoys and Argo profiles are used for lead time and real time validations, which give a large SS value(more than 0.90). Besides, prediction skill for the seasonal variation of SST is confirmed. Comparisons of subsurface temperatures with Argo profiles data indicate that OCFS-C has low skill in predicting subsurface temperatures between 100 m and 150 m. Nevertheless, inter-comparisons of MLD reveal that the MLD from model is shallower than that from Argo profiles by about 12 m, i.e., OCFS-C is successful and steady in MLD predictions. Validation of 1-d, 2-d and 3-d forecasting SST shows that our operational ocean circulation-surface wave coupled forecasting model has reasonable accuracy in the upper ocean.展开更多

Fifteen models are selected based on their performances in capturing the temporal variability, long-term trend, multidecadal variations, and trends in global annual mean SATa. Observational data analysis shows that the multidecadal variations in annual mean SATa of the land and ocean in the northern hemisphere (NH) and of the ocean in the southern hemisphere (SH) are similar to those of the global mean, showing an increase during the 1900-1944 and 1971-2000 periods, and flattening or even cooling during the 1945-1970 and 2001-2013 periods. These observed characteristics are basically reproduced by the models. However, SATa over SH land show an increase during the 1945-1970 period, which differs from the other hemispheric scales, and this feature is not captured well by the models. For the recent hiatus period (2001-2013), the projected trends of BCC-CSM1-1-m, CMCC-CM, GFDL-ESM2M, and NorESM1-ME at the global and hemispheric scales are closest to the observations based on RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 scenarios, suggesting that these four models have better projection capability in SATa. Because these four models are better at simulating and projecting the multidecadal trends of SATa, they are selected to analyze future SATa variations at the global and hemispheric scales during the 2006-2099 period. The selected multi-model ensemble (MME) projected trends in annual mean SATa for the globe, NH, and SH under RCP4.5 (RCP8.5) are 0.17 (0.29) ℃, 0.22 (0.36) ℃, and 0.11 (0.23) ℃-decade-1 in the 21st century, respectively. These values are significantly lower than the projections of CMIP5 MME without model selection.展开更多

The objective is to understand how the coupling interface FM/AFM (ferromagnetic/anti-ferromagnetic) manifests itself in magnetic response of these materials to an applied field. Sample preparation was performed using mechanochemical synthesis by means of a ball mill planetary type high power at normal atmosphere. The characterization was done by XRD (X-ray diffraction), SEM (scanning electron microscopy) and VSM (vibrating sample magnetometry). Analyzing the XRD peaks of the samples studied, there was a decrease in the average particle diameter with increasing milling time, which is important in the magnetic interactions of the atoms of the surface. In addition, the diffraction pattern showed formation of new phases by oxidation interfering with the magnetic measurements. Analyses by SEM show chipboard multiform nano- and micrometer-sized grains on the surface of the clusters being responsible for the interaction. The magnetic measurements show a strong coupling between the phases present in nanocomposites showing once again that the MS (mechanosynthesis) is a powerful technique for this kind of purpose. The effect of the decrease in crystallite size leads to large variations of magnetic properties of the material which have been specifically observed changes in HC (coercive field) in the RM (remanent magnetization) and SM (saturation magnetization). The decrease in crystallite size in the course of grinding intensifies the effects that depend on the surface-to-volume ratio of the material. M vs. T measures were taken for different values of applied field and found a jump in the moment of the sample near the N6el temperature of the antiferromagnetic.展开更多

Full three dimensional simulations were made at different discharge conditions. The simulations examined and compared the distribution and non-uniformity of several plasma parameters at a fixed position upon the wafer at different pressures and coil currents. These parameters included electron density, electron temperature and power deposition. The results demonstrate that the electron density, power deposition and uniformity increase with either higher pressure or stronger coil currents, while the electron temperature decreases at this condition. Coil number increase can reduce the non-uniformity of parameters in the spatial distribution. The linear relationship between power deposition and electron density does not always exist. The comparison between simulation results and experiment results is also presented in the paper.展开更多

It is revealed that between them there is a closed negative feedback process and the whole period including their influence, feedback and adjustment to each other is about 3.5 years. Furthermore, we have discussed the physical processes responsible for various links between the Northern Oscillation and the sea surface temperature of the equatorial Pacific. M vs. T measures were taken for different values of applied field and found a jump in the moment of the sample near the N6el temperature of the antiferromagnetic.

文摘This study investigated the inductively coupled plasma etching reactor and RF coils developed by North Microelectronic Corporation. The comparison between simulation results and experiment results is also presented in the paper.
文摘In this paper, we have analyzed the processes of temporal and spatial development in the interaction be- tween the Northern Oscillation and the sea surface temperature of the cquatorial Pacific. A physical model on 3.5-year coupled oscillation caused by the air-sea interaction in the tropical Pacific is postulated.

文摘Supplemental lighting is critical to the growth of greenhouse crops under the environmental conditions of low temperatures combined with weak radiation during the winter and spring seasons. To achieve the essential daily light integral(DLI)for greenhouse crop growth,a supplemental light strategy was proposed based on hourly light integral(HLI).The target HLI was calculated by dividing the target DLI by the duration of light exposure, while the actual HLI was obtained by accumulating the Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density(PPFD)based on real-time monitoring.Subsequently, the supplemental lighting duration for the next hour was determined by the difference between the target HLI and the actual HLI from all previous periods.Furthermore, the supplementary lighting strategy incorporated maximum values for both PPFD and temperature, and the supplemental light was withheld whenever the actual PPFD or temperature exceeded these values. An experiment was conducted on strawberries in a commercial greenhouse, targeting a DLI of 12.6 mol/(m2∙d),with no supplemental lighting as the control. The results indicated that LED supplemental lighting based on HLI increased the DLI to approximately10 mol/(m2∙d)and raised the strawberry canopy temperature by 1°C-2°C.Compared to the control treatment, the LED supplemental lighting based on HLI significantly improved the net photosynthetic rate, stem thickness, number of leaves, leaf length, and leaf width of the strawberry plants.Additionally, the fruit yield per plant, soluble solids content, and sugar-acid ratio in the supplemental lighting treatment increased by 32%,21%,and 33%,respectively.Thus,LED supplemental lighting based on HLI is an effective strategy for improving the yield and quality of greenhouse crop production.
