Challenges and Teaching Reform Strategies in Vocational College Engineering Training Courses

With the rapid development of vocational education,engineering training has become a crucial course for cultivating highly skilled technical professionals,highlighting its importance.However,vocational college engineering training courses still face numerous challenges during the actual teaching process,which affect the effectiveness of course teaching and the enhancement of students’engineering competence.This article thoroughly analyzes the main problems existing in current engineering training course teaching,focusing on four aspects:students’cognitive differences,inadequate course development,poor course adaptability,and limited teaching resources.Based on this analysis and previous research findings,targeted strategies are proposed,including enhancing students’course cognition,clarifying course positioning,improving course adaptability,and optimizing the allocation of teaching resources.Furthermore,this article preliminarily verifies the effectiveness of some reform strategies through a small-scale teaching experiment.This study aims to provide theoretical guidance and practical reference for enhancing the teaching quality of vocational college engineering training courses. 展开更多

In the context of an aging population, the promotion of time banking as a new model of voluntary service can help alleviate the ever–increasing pressures for elderly care and services in China. The development of time banking in China has successively undergone the stage of traditional practice, the stage of infancy and exploration, as well as the stage of accelerated growth. Meanwhile, this process has also witnessed the formation of many localized innovations. To further the localization and innovation of time banking, this paper analyzes its basis in traditional culture, summarizes its process of practice and explores new directions of future innovation. Based on the summary of existing problems, this paper proposes to enhance the recognition of time banking among the public, facilitate localized innovation of time banking, promote its informatization, and involve the participation of young people, particularly college students. 展开更多

With the exploration and development of more and more high-temperature, high-pressure, high-yield and deep wells, and the constantly increasing requirements for safety and environmental protection in various countries, well integrity technology has become a research hot spot in the oil industry. Based on the analysis of the four basic concepts of well integrity: full life cycle, well integrity management system, well barrier, and risk assessment, this article conducts a comparative analysis of the development history of well integrity technologies at home and abroad, and systematically summarizes foreign wells. The current status of integrity technology, based on the above investigation and analysis, puts forward suggestions for the next development direction of well integrity technology, which has certain guiding significance for the development of the integrity of the next step. 展开更多

Purpose:This article reviews the development of quantitative methods in educational research in China since 1978.Design/Approach/Methods:For this summary and literature review,we used data from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),relevant books,and research output from the Graduate School of Education,Peking University.Findings:We divided the development of quantitative methods in Chinese educational research into four stages:the Startup Stage(1978–1988),the Gradual Application Stage(1989–1998),the Growth Spurt Stage(1999–2008),and the Integrated and Diverse Development Stage(2009–2018).Overall,the development of quantitative methods in Chinese educational research shows sustained innovation in numerous aspects,including research methods,data sources,utilization of advancements in computing technology and statistical software,and research topics.However,despite the relatively advanced state of quantitative methods,education measurement and evaluation require further attention.The questionnaire and experimental research data currently available indicate the need to improve the mining and utilization of big data.Moreover,while Chinese educational researchers have demonstrated their proficiency in using quantitative research methods,improvements remain to be made with respect to collaboration and sharing.Originality/Value:This article is the first to analyze systemically the development of quantitative methods in Chinese educational research.It provides an original summary of the development and characteristics of quantitative methods in educational research in China. 展开更多
