Since primary care is often the settin... Previous studies have described racial and socioeconomic disparities in the treatment of infertility. Patient factors such as attitudes and awareness may be contributing factors. Since primary care is often the setting that serves as an entry into other areas of medicine, we sought to evaluate men's attitudes and awareness of male infertility in the primary care setting. To do this, we performed a cross-sectional survey of men's attitudes toward men's health issues in 210 men from two primary care clinic waiting rooms in Atlanta, Georgia. The survey was self-administered with closed-ended question items and was approximately 20 min in length. Of the 310 men approached, 210 agreed to participate and returned completed surveys. Overall, 52% of men said they were "very" or "somewhat" familiar with infertility and 25% were familiar with treatments for infertility. Some men had heard of surgery (21%) and medication (35%) as treatments for male infertility. Awareness and familiarity with the condition was greater in high socioeconomic status men (i.e. college graduates or those with income 〉$100 k per year) but did not differ by race on multivariate analysis. Attitudes toward infertility varied by race with non-Caucasian men being more likely to indicate that infertility is a serious condition, to be concerned about infertility, and to believe it decreases a man's quality-of-life. Therefore, a lack of awareness, but not negative attitudes, may contribute to previously-described disparities in the treatment of infertility. 展开更多

This study was conducted and designed to educate society about scoliosis and measure the knowledge and awareness about it. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study conducted on members of the Saudi Society who have consented to participate in this research between the 8th of January and 5th of February 2023. Results: A total of 427 people agreed to participate in the study. The highest percentage of the participants was female 69.1%. About 41% participants out of 427 were in the age group 18-25 years. Most of the participants were from the Middle Region. (71.9%) of participants were unfamiliar with scoliosis, while (72.1%) had no prior knowledge of the condition. Conclusion: This study indicates insufficient awareness and knowledge about scoliosis in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, further studies are needed to raise awareness about scoliosis and help people to learn more about this condition. 展开更多

And these changes in science, technology, economy, political systems, and immigration patterns, especially the emergence of Internet, have created a world in which we increasingly interact with people from different cultures. The levels of students' cultural awareness toward the target language (English) have a profound influence on the foreign language teaching (English) practice and performance. Obviously linguistic knowledge alone is not enough to secure successful interactions with native speakers in cross cultural communications. Cultural mistakes are worse than linguistic ones because they tend to cause misjudgments, or ill feelings between native and foreign speakers. Therefore, this paper mainly discusses the relationship between culture and language, explaining cultural awareness, providing some principles of cultural knowledge teaching and some techniques to develop students' cultural awareness through foreign language (English) teaching in high schools. 展开更多

小学中高年级儿童复合语素意识、词语结构意识与词汇知识的关系:交叉滞后研究

为考察复合语素意识、词语结构意识与词汇知识在发展中的关系,对278名小学三年级儿童进行为期2年3次的追踪测试。在控制了年龄、一般认知能力、语音意识和自回归效应后,交叉滞后分析结果显示:(1)在三到四年级阶段,词汇知识显著预测复合... 为考察复合语素意识、词语结构意识与词汇知识在发展中的关系,对278名小学三年级儿童进行为期2年3次的追踪测试。在控制了年龄、一般认知能力、语音意识和自回归效应后,交叉滞后分析结果显示:(1)在三到四年级阶段,词汇知识显著预测复合语素意识与词语结构意识;复合语素意识显著预测词语结构意识和词汇知识;(2)在四到五年级阶段,复合语素意识显著预测词语结构意识与词汇知识;词语结构意识显著预测复合语素意识和词汇知识。研究表明,复合语素意识、词语结构意识和词汇知识在中高年级的发展关系是动态变化的,具有阶段性特点。词汇知识在中年级阶段对两种语素意识具有预测作用,词语结构意识在高年级阶段对词汇知识具有预测作用,复合语素意识对词汇知识的预测作用在中高年级阶段一直存在。两种语素意识的关系在中年级阶段表现为复合语素意识单向预测词语结构意识,在高年级阶段表现为双向关系,二者能够相互预测。 展开更多

基于社交网络用户生成的时空数据预测用户在城外的移动行为已成为城市协同管理的迫切需求.用户城外出行相对于城内移动而言属于“长尾”事件,导致用户在城外生成的签到数据极度稀疏,现有研究难以利用有限的跨城市签到数据建模用户城外... 基于社交网络用户生成的时空数据预测用户在城外的移动行为已成为城市协同管理的迫切需求.用户城外出行相对于城内移动而言属于“长尾”事件,导致用户在城外生成的签到数据极度稀疏,现有研究难以利用有限的跨城市签到数据建模用户城外出行偏好,进而准确预测用户在城外的移动行为.为此,本文提出一种意图感知的社交网络用户城外移动偏好建模框架TIEMPO.首先,为缓解数据稀疏性问题,通过随机游走从构建的城外地点网络中采样移动轨迹,利用无监督聚类发现特定数目的用户城外出行意图;其次,引入记忆网络从相似用户在城外的移动轨迹中进一步提炼出行意图;然后,基于迁移学习思想,将用户城内签到与城外出行意图进行交互建模,从而强化用户城外移动偏好表示;最后,融合用户城外移动偏好表示与地点隐含表示对用户访问城外地点的概率进行量化.本文基于多个跨城市签到数据集进行广泛的实验分析,结果表明TIEMPO能有效预测社交网络用户在城外的移动行为,预测准确性指标Acc@10相比基线模型体现出12%~15%的明显优势,排序可靠性指标NDCG@10相比基线模型则超出3%~5%,即使在冷启动预测场景下TIEMPO依然表现最优. 展开更多

基于位置感知和跨层特征融合的航拍小目标检测算法

针对航拍图像目标尺度小、背景复杂、漏检和误检严重,提出了一种基于位置感知和跨层特征融合的航拍小目标检测算法DC-YOLOv8s。DC-YOLOv8s新增小目标检测层,增强对小目标尺度的敏感性,提高检测精度。为了减少特征信息的丢失,设计了跨层... 针对航拍图像目标尺度小、背景复杂、漏检和误检严重,提出了一种基于位置感知和跨层特征融合的航拍小目标检测算法DC-YOLOv8s。DC-YOLOv8s新增小目标检测层,增强对小目标尺度的敏感性,提高检测精度。为了减少特征信息的丢失,设计了跨层特征融合模块,充分融合小目标浅层语义信息和深层语义信息,丰富特征表示。改进C 2f结构,结合可变性卷积设计了基于位置感知融入残差的感受野注意力模块,适应航拍小目标形状的变化,快速提取感受野特征,降低漏检和误检率。最后使用基于注意力机制的动态检测头在尺度感知、空间感知、任务感知方面提高复杂场景下小目标的定位性能。实验表明,在VisDrone2019数据集上,DC-YOLOv8s在P、R、mAP上相较于YOLOv8s分别提高了7.2%、7.5%、9.1%,显著提高了小目标检测的性能,FPS为71帧,满足实时性要求。在VOC2007+2012上进行模型泛化性实验验证,效果优于其他经典算法。 展开更多
