Cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) pipes used in hot water supply are required for high mechanical strength and high creep resistance at high temperature. Especially PEX-a pipes which are made by peroxide cross-linking have better performance, such as creep resistance and thermal shock resistance than the pipes made by the other cross-linking method. Because the PEX-a pipes indicate the higher cross-link degree as compared with the other PEX pipes. In this study, the PEX-a pipes which were mixed with several stabilizers were tested to evaluate the effects on cross-link degree and the oxygen induction time. And also they are evaluated with the chlorine aqueous solution by the performance of the long-term hydrostatic pressure test and the long-term hydro dynamic pressure test. As a result, it was found that the combination of antioxidants for PEX-a pipes plays an important role to prolong the oxygen induction time without inhibiting the cross-linking. From the results of the 1H pulsed NMR measurement over the melting point of polyethylene, it was found that each peroxide PEX pipe with different antioxidant combinations indicated the different proportion and crosslink density of cross-linked region, in addition, that these pipes had the effective structure of cross-linking for the hydrostatic and hydrodynamic pressure test with the chlorine aqueous solution. Therefore, it was considered to be useful results for studies of the stricture of cross-linking of polyethylene. 展开更多

The thick insulation layer of 110 kV XLPE power cables will result in the gradient changing morphology with the radius due to crosslinking process and cooling of the XLPE insulation. In this paper, the morphology of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation of 110 kV cable and the uniforming effect of the heating process on it are researched by the differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and X-ray diffraction (WAXD). The middle layer morphology structures of insulation produced by normal technology are of better uniform, while the crystallinity of the inner and outer layer of the insulation is lower than that of the middle one. The melting enthalpy AHm of materials displays the difference of the crystal morphologies sensitively. The difference of crystallizing morphology in different layers of the high-voltage power cable insulation can be improved by heating process. But the uniforming of morphology of the insulation by heating process requires sufficient ttanperature and time. The effect of the on-line stress-relaxation equipment used widely by cable works now should be doubted. The test results of WAXD reveal that thermal stress changes the interplanar distances in the crystal region. So the radical stress in the insulation is tensile mainly. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Polyethylene(PE)particles produced by wear of the acetabular insert are thought to cause osteolysis and thereby aseptic loosening of the implant in total hip arthroplasty(THA).As highly cross-linked polyethylene(HXLPE)is presumed to give lower wear rates,in vivo studies are needed to confirm this.AIM To compare the wear of REXPOL,a HXPLE,with conventional PE within the first five years after implantation using Roentgen stereophotogrammetric analysis(RSA).METHODS Patients were randomised to receive either a HXLPE(REXPOL)or a conventional PE insert during primary THA.RSA images were obtained directly postoperative and after 6 wk,12 wk,6 mo,12 mo,24 mo and five years.Functional outcomes were assessed using the Hip Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score and Harris Hip Score at baseline and five years after surgery.RESULTS The HXLPE(REXPOL)showed less wear in the latero-medial direction.Significant wear rates of conventional PE were seen in the latero-medial and center-proximal direction and in volume and corrected volume,whereas the REXPOL did not show these outcomes over time.Improvement from baseline in functional outcome did not significantly differ.CONCLUSION Total 3D wear is less in THAs inserted with a REXPOL inlay than a conventional PE inlay after five years.This study confirms,for the first,that the REXPOL HXLPE inlay is preferred to standard PE. 展开更多

Physical cross-linking by hydrogen-bonds (H-bonds), providing a good combination of application properties of thermosets and processability of thermoplastics, is a potential strategy to resolve the recycling problem of traditional chemically cross-linked polyethylene. However, ureidopyrimidone (UPy), the most widely used H-bonding motif, is unfavorable for large-scale industrial application due to its poor thermal stability. In this work, H-bonds cross-linked polyethylene was successfully prepared by reactive melt blending maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene (PE-g-MAH) with 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole (ATA) to form amide triazole ring-carboxylic acid units. Triazole ring can easily generate multiple H-bonds with carboxylic acid and amide. More importantly, these units are more thermal stable than UPy due to the absence of unstable urea group of UPy. The introduction of H-bonds cross-linking leads to an obvious improvement in mechanical properties and creep resistance and a good maintain in thermal properties and recyclability. Furthermore, the reinforcement effect monotonically improves with increasing the density of H-bonds. The obtained good properties are mainly attributed to largely enhanced interchain interactions induced by H-bonds cross-linking and intrinsic reversibility of H-bonds. This work develops a novel way for the simple fabrication of H-bonds cross-linked PE with high performance through reactive melt blending. 展开更多

以熔融沉积成型(FDM)3D打印的聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯-1,4-环己烷二甲醇酯薄壁制件的不同倾角度数的尺寸精度作为研究对象设计正交试验,研究层高、挤出温度、回抽距离对FDM 3D打印不同倾角度数尺寸精度的影响,并使用极差分析与方差分析对... 以熔融沉积成型(FDM)3D打印的聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯-1,4-环己烷二甲醇酯薄壁制件的不同倾角度数的尺寸精度作为研究对象设计正交试验,研究层高、挤出温度、回抽距离对FDM 3D打印不同倾角度数尺寸精度的影响,并使用极差分析与方差分析对结果数据进行处理,得到最优的参数组合。结果表明,挤出温度与回抽距离的变化对尺寸误差的影响很小,层高对不同倾角的影响规律不同:对25°、30°倾角,尺寸误差呈先降低后增大的趋势;对35°倾角,尺寸误差呈先略微增大后降低的趋势;对40°及以上的倾角,尺寸误差呈增大趋势。最后通过试验结果分析了单因素不同水平对不同倾角尺寸精度的影响,得出挤出压力、悬垂距离、材料黏度和走线方式是产生尺寸误差的主要原因。 展开更多

Inkjet 3D printing has potential in the additive manufacturing of electronic circuits and devices.However,inks that can be used for printing layers with T5%>300℃ or hardness>200 MPa have been rarely reported.Cyanate ester(CE)polymers have excellent thermal stability,high strength,and low shrinkage compared to other common dielectric inks for inkjet 3D printing,but cannot be quickly shaped by ultraviolet(UV)irradiation or thermal treatment.Combining CEs with UV-curable monomers may be a possible way to accelerate crosslinking,but there are challenges from the adverse effects of the dilution of both monomers.In this study,dielectric inks with acrylate and cyanate moieties were developed.The low viscosity and surface tension of the CE precursor(Bisphenol E cyanate ester)were combined with photocurable acrylate diluent monomers and cross-linker to realize an ink suitable for inkjet 3D printing.An internal dual three-dimensional cross-linked network structure resin was prepared by a combination of photocuring and thermal curing with T5%up to 326.69℃,hardness up to 431.84 MPa,dielectric constant of 2.70 at 8 GHz,and shrinkage of 1.64%.The developed dielectric inks can be applied to the 3D printing of printed circuit boards and other electronic devices that require dielectric properties. 展开更多

Three-dimensional(3D)functional graphenebased architecture with superior electrical conductivity and good mechanical strength has promising applications in energy storage and electrics.Viscoelasticity-adjustable inks make it possible to achieve desired 3D architectures with interconnected and continuous interior networks by microextrusion printing.In this work,ultra-low-concentration graphene oxide(GO)inks of~15 mg·ml-1 have been obtained and demonstrated in direct 3D printing with a facile cross-linking(direct ink writing).The rheological behavior of the GO strategy by cations,which is the lowest concentration to achieve direct ink writing inks,could be adjusted from 1×10^(4) to 1×10^(5) Pa·s^(-1) with different concentrations of cations due to strong cross-linking networks between GO sheets and cations.Meanwhile,the specific strength and electrical conductivity of 3D-printed graphene architecture are notably enhanced,reaching up to 51.7×10^(3) N·m·kg^(-1)and 119 S·m^(-1),which are superior to conventional graphene aerogels.Furthermore,3D printing graphene-based architecture assembled in micro-superc apacitor exhibits excellent electrochemical performance,which can be ascribed to the effective ion transportation through the interconnected networks.The strategy demonstrated is useful in the design of complex-shaped,graphene-based architectures for scalable manufacturing of practical energy storage applications. 展开更多

To investigate the effects of polyethylene glycol cross-linking on the mechanical properties, 80 porcine aortic valves were harvested, decellularized, and introduced with sulflaydryl. Then the valves were randomly assigned into 5 experimental groups and 1 control group (n=16). For the valves in those experimental groups, branched polyethylene glycol diacrylate (PEG) of 5 different molecular weights (3.4, 8, 12, 20, 40 kDa) were synthesized and cross-linked with them respectively. The efficiency of the cross-linking was determined by measuring the amount of residual thiol group and the mechanical properties of the cross-linked valve leaflets were assessed by uni-axial planar tensile testing. The efficiency of the PEG 20 kDa group was 70.72±2.33%, obviously superior to that of the other groups (p〈0.05). Tensile test proved that branched PEG cross-linking can significantly enhance the mechanical behaviors of the deeellularized valve leaflet and the Young's modulus of each group was positively correlated with the molecular weight of PEG. It was concluded that branched PEG with the molecular weight of 20 kDa can effectively cross-link the decellularized porcine aortic valves and improve their mechanical properties, which makes it a promising cross-linker that can be used in the modification of decellularized tissue engineering valves. 展开更多

背景:高密度聚乙烯常用作颅颌面骨缺损的修复材料,然其制备方式及表面活性仍需进一步改进。目的:优化高密度聚乙烯制备方法,改善高密度聚乙烯表面活性。方法:基于挤出式3D打印技术制备高密度聚乙烯支架,将支架依次浸入多巴胺溶液、模拟... 背景:高密度聚乙烯常用作颅颌面骨缺损的修复材料,然其制备方式及表面活性仍需进一步改进。目的:优化高密度聚乙烯制备方法,改善高密度聚乙烯表面活性。方法:基于挤出式3D打印技术制备高密度聚乙烯支架,将支架依次浸入多巴胺溶液、模拟体液中进行聚多巴胺、羟基磷灰石涂层。表征涂层前后支架的微观形貌、亲水性和压缩模量。在支架表面分别接种小鼠胚胎成骨前体细胞MC3T3-E1和人脐静脉内皮细胞,评估涂层前后支架的细胞相容性、早期成骨活性和促血管活性。结果与结论:①3D打印的高密度聚乙烯支架纤维排列规则,孔隙均匀;表征结果显示,支架表面聚多巴胺、羟基磷灰石改性成功;与未改性支架相比,聚多巴胺涂层与聚多巴胺+羟基磷灰石涂层改性后的支架表面水接触角明显减小(P<0.05),压缩模量未发生明显变化;②与未改性支架相比,聚多巴胺涂层与聚多巴胺+羟基磷灰石涂层改性后的支架可促进MC3T3-E1细胞、人脐静脉内皮细胞的黏附(P<0.05),且双涂层改性组促细胞黏附优于单涂层改性组(P<0.05);与未改性支架相比,聚多巴胺涂层与聚多巴胺+羟基磷灰石涂层改性后的支架可促进MC3T3-E1细胞、人脐静脉内皮细胞的增殖(P<0.05),且双涂层改性组促细胞增殖优于单涂层改性组(P<0.05);与未改性支架相比,聚多巴胺涂层与聚多巴胺+羟基磷灰石涂层改性后的支架可促进MC3T3-E1细胞的成骨分化(P<0.05),提高人脐静脉内皮细胞血管生成因子CD31的表达,其中以双涂层改性组效果更明显;③结果表明,经聚多巴胺、羟基磷灰石涂层后,3D打印高密度聚乙烯支架具有良好的细胞相容性、早期促成骨活性和促血管活性。 展开更多

4D打印可实现打印结构的智能动态变形,在航空航天、生物医疗、智能机器人等领域有着巨大的应用前景,文中开发了一种利用熔融沉积(FDM)打印形状记忆交联聚乙烯的新方法。将低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)制备成直径2.85 mm的丝材并进行FDM打印,打印... 4D打印可实现打印结构的智能动态变形,在航空航天、生物医疗、智能机器人等领域有着巨大的应用前景,文中开发了一种利用熔融沉积(FDM)打印形状记忆交联聚乙烯的新方法。将低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)制备成直径2.85 mm的丝材并进行FDM打印,打印试样经辐照交联后获得形状记忆性能,研究了打印工艺及辐照剂量对打印试样力学性能及形状记忆性能的影响。结果表明,最佳打印温度为180~240℃、最佳打印速度为15~20mm/s。辐照交联后,打印试样拉伸强度增大,断裂伸长率减小;随着辐照剂量从40kGy增大到120kGy,打印试样的凝胶含量和形状固定率分别由50%和95.71%增大到83%和99.47%,形状回复率由113.61%趋近于100%;辐照剂量为100 kGy的打印试样经多次形状记忆循环测试,仍能保持99.29%以上的形状回复率和98.58%以上的形状固定率,表现出非常优异的形状记忆性能。 展开更多

典型工业源挥发性有机物排放特征及臭氧生成潜势分析 被引量:11

选取雄安新区内的拉链加工、油墨印刷、聚乙烯吹膜等典型行业,分析各工艺过程中挥发性有机物(VOCs)排放的成分谱,并计算了臭氧生成潜势(OFP)。采用苏玛罐在车间进行VOCs样品采集,使用气相色谱/质谱对样品进行了检测。结果表明:各工业源... 选取雄安新区内的拉链加工、油墨印刷、聚乙烯吹膜等典型行业,分析各工艺过程中挥发性有机物(VOCs)排放的成分谱,并计算了臭氧生成潜势(OFP)。采用苏玛罐在车间进行VOCs样品采集,使用气相色谱/质谱对样品进行了检测。结果表明:各工业源的总挥发性有机物(TVOCs)浓度均较高,其中拉链加工排放的TVOCs质量浓度最高,达1030.44μg/m^3,聚乙烯吹膜最低,为302.65μg/m^3;拉链加工排放的VOCs以苯系物、卤代烃为主,两者质量分数之和为70%以上,VOCs主要成分为二氯甲烷、苯、甲苯、正己烷;油墨印刷排放的VOCs中苯系物质量分数在50%以上,VOCs主要成分为甲苯、乙酸乙酯、正己烷、二氯甲烷;聚乙烯吹膜排放的VOCs中苯系物质量分数也在50%以上,VOCs主要成分为甲苯、正己烷、二氯甲烷、乙酸乙酯。各工业源中苯系物对OFP的贡献最大,拉链加工、油墨印刷、聚乙烯吹膜行业的苯系物OFP贡献率分别为80.87%、89.63%、85.97%,苯系物的减排和治理应是政府和企业的关注重点。 展开更多

分析了影响聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)膜激光打印效果的因素并对PET膜彩色激光打印涂层配方进行了优化。研究表明:水性丙烯酸树脂涂层具有良好的图文附着力和较好耐温性;添加钛白粉有助于提高涂层耐温性和改善图像质量;通过添加防静电剂... 分析了影响聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)膜激光打印效果的因素并对PET膜彩色激光打印涂层配方进行了优化。研究表明:水性丙烯酸树脂涂层具有良好的图文附着力和较好耐温性;添加钛白粉有助于提高涂层耐温性和改善图像质量;通过添加防静电剂来降低薄膜电阻率,可明显改善图文打印质量,避免了图文拖尾现象。实验范围内,最适用的白色激光打印涂层配方是:水性丙烯酸树脂、白色色浆、高分子防静电剂的质量分数分别为72.11%,24.04%,3.85%。制备的涂层图文附着力为100%,图像无斑点,清晰度优良,满足PET膜激光打印应用要求。 展开更多

通过选择性激光熔融技术(SLM)打印出Ti-6Al-4V(TC4)呈层间错位排列的钻石分子微结构金属骨架,将超高分子量聚乙烯(PE-UHMW)粉末和氧化石墨烯(GO)粉末通过热压浸渗的方法填充在骨架内部的孔隙当中,制备出不同孔隙率的金属骨架复合材料。... 通过选择性激光熔融技术(SLM)打印出Ti-6Al-4V(TC4)呈层间错位排列的钻石分子微结构金属骨架,将超高分子量聚乙烯(PE-UHMW)粉末和氧化石墨烯(GO)粉末通过热压浸渗的方法填充在骨架内部的孔隙当中,制备出不同孔隙率的金属骨架复合材料。然后在摩擦磨损试验机上研究了在干摩擦条件下,复合材料的磨损机制和骨架孔隙率对其摩擦学性能的影响,并且采用扫描电子显微镜和能谱分析等方法对磨损表面进行了表征分析。结果表明,与纯PE-UHMW相比,金属骨架和GO的引入可以形成转移膜,捕获磨屑,骨架可以优先承担大部分载荷,改善材料的摩擦系数和磨损率;复合材料的磨损机制主要为粘着磨损和磨粒磨损;当孔隙率达到56%时,复合材料摩擦磨损性能最优。 展开更多
