人行结构(如:人行天桥)的动力设计中,人致结构振动舒适度往往决定最终的结构设计方案。为满足舒适度要求,一般需要将结构振动水平控制在舒适度指标范围内。因此,在设计阶段,准确预测人致结构振动水平十分关键。为准确施加步行荷载,需要... 人行结构(如:人行天桥)的动力设计中,人致结构振动舒适度往往决定最终的结构设计方案。为满足舒适度要求,一般需要将结构振动水平控制在舒适度指标范围内。因此,在设计阶段,准确预测人致结构振动水平十分关键。为准确施加步行荷载,需要预先知道结构建成之后其上面活动的人群行为,如:行走路径和速度等。该文采用修正后的社会力模型,该模型能考虑不同的人群密度、所处地域、行走目的和方向,还能考虑行人到达结构的时间、初始位置、初始行走速度等的随机性。通过模拟一个典型桥面上的随机人群,展示了该模型的适用性。模拟结果表明:跟自由行走不同,人群中,行人的行走路径和速度因受他人和周围环境的影响而实时变化;行走路径不按直线路线;行走速度低于自由行走速度。相应地,人群作为一个整体,行人位置分布实时变化;人群平均速度也实时变化且低于自由行走速度,待人群稳定后,在稳定范围内波动。该文工作可为准确施加步行荷载提供思路。 展开更多

Rioting historically has been known to cause changes in individual cognition, with heightened emotionality, increased excitement and reduced reflective thought. A cross-disciplinary literature review hypothesises emotional states generate corresponding metabolic bio magnetic fields that radiate in patterns reflecting these emotional states. The oscillatory phase of these waves is advanced as being more significant than the power of signal, permitting stochastic effects to magnify signals by appropriating ambient noise. Possible transmission and detection structures in the body are discussed, induced paramagnetic sensitivity in crowd participants in a phase transition process is hypothesised, the effect may be proportional to crowd numbers. It is suspected that positive effects seen in Transcranial Magnetic Therapy used to treat depression may be operating on this mechanism, acting on natural receptors in the limbic system which also capture light and are implicated in mood transitions. A number of paramagnetic neurotransmitters may be implicated. 展开更多

Increasing urban pluvial flood disasters due to climate change and rapid urbanisation have been a great challenge worldwide.Timely and effective emergency evacuation is important for reducing casualties and losses.This has become a bottleneck for emergency management.This study aimed to develop a commonly used Agent-Based Mode(ABM)for pluvial flood emergency evacuation at the city scale,exploring the cascading impacts of pluvial flooding on human behaviour and emergency evacuation.The July 2021 pluvial flood event in Zhengzhou,Henan Province,claiming 380 lives and 40.9 billion yuan in direct losses,was selected as this case study.A raster-based hydraulic model(ECNU Flood-Urban)was used to predict flood inundation(extent and depth)during an event in Zhengzhou’s centre.Moreover,a comparative analysis of emergency evacuations was conducted before and after the pluvial flood event.The results showed that crowd behaviour plays an important role in an emergency evacuation,and extensive flooding leads to an 11-83%reduction in the number of evacuees.This study highlights the importance of risk education and contingency plans in emergency response.The ABM model developed in this study is proven to be effective and practical and will provide support for decision-making in urban flood emergency management. 展开更多
