However, due to the improper curriculum, lack of the micro-standard skill teaching lab and the formalistic teaching practice, there are many problems in English major students＇ vocational ability in ethnic regions. For instance, their language knowledge and ability is not solid; they lack the modem foreign language teaching theories; they have a weak pragmatic competence and lack teaching reflection, etc..
