With the increase of new buildings, natural ventilation becomes harder, which leads to the impact on the preservation of historical building and the reduction of thermal comfort for residents. Besides, problems of new buildings' construction and design affect the developments of cities and towns in historical district, which has existed for hundreds of years. The Wugoushui Settlement is located in Pingtung County, the southernmost part of Taiwan, and its hot season of a year is pretty long and belongs to warm and humid tropical climate. In 2008, the Pingtung County Government officially registered and announced Wugoushui as traditional settlement and meanwhile, provided the maintenance and preservation for buildings in this region on government subsidies. This paper is based on one-year-long field experiments of Wugoushui Settlement. Residents in Wugoushui Settlement continue constructing new buildings near by the traditional buildings. With the fact that constructions of new buildings result in huge impact on the circumstances of natural ventilation and thermal comfort, which have been for hundreds of years, the simple weather station is set up to collect the data of local microclimate. In addition, four representative traditional architectures were selected to be measured their indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction and thermal radiation both in winter (December to February) and in summer (May to September). The measurement time of each building is one week and every data record is kept every minute. Besides, residents were asked to fill out the comfort survey. Based on these data, the distributions of indoor and outdoor thermal environment as well as the thermal comfort of living space under the condition of the natural ventilation are assessed. Finally, focused on the indoor living space of historical districts in southern Taiwan, there are two main suggestions given in the essay: first, a provisional comfort zone in summer is planned and proposed; second, the preliminary suggestions for the design and norms of new buildings in historical district are provided.展开更多

The results showed that among total 29 gene loci of 15 isozymes, 9 and 7 were po- lymorphic in natural and cultured stocks, respectively. The status of genetic diversity in P. olivaceus is low in terms of polymorphic loci in chi-square test and genetic departure index of Hardy-Weinberg equi- librium. More alleles in IDHP, CAT, GDH and Ldh-C allozymes were found in the fish, which could be used as markers in assortive breeding and distinguishing stock, population or species evolution. Total 88 and 86 RAPD bands ranging from 200 to 2 500 bp were recognized individually in average of 7.8–8.0 bands per primer. The genetic diversity in cultured stock is lower than that in natural ones showing an ob- viously decreasing genetic divergence. Therefore, effective countermeasures must be taken to protect ge- netic resources of marine cultured fishes. The 2 markers have their own pros and cons. Combining the 2 markers to investigate the genetic variation of populations is suggested. The results show that the vitamin C (Vc) content in the natural prawn was 8. 19% higher than that of the cultured prawn. As the natural prawn's body length increasing, the Vc content in cephalothorax increased continuously, but after August 10, the Vc content in the cultured prawn fell down rapidly. No significant differences in vitamin B1, B2,B6, nicotinic acid (NAc), nicotinamide (NAm) and folio acid (FAc) were found between the natural and the cultured prawn. Therefore, Vc probably is one of major factors limiting the growth and development of Chinese prawn.展开更多

文摘A systematically comparative study on the contents of vitamins in the natural and the cultured prawn, Penaeus chinensis, was made by using High-efficiency Liquid Phase Chromatography in 1989. Therefore, Vc probably is one of major factors limiting the growth and development of Chinese prawn.

文摘The human as an“animal symbolicum”(by Ernst Cassirer)is a unique being included simultaneously in two semiospheres. One of them is the semiosphere of conventional signs and symbols created by himself in culture. The other semiosphere of natural signals and indexes is available to the human as an animal together with other living beings. Both these semiospheres described correspondingly by Y.Lotman and E.Hoffmeyer, are the subjects of anthroposemiotics and biosemiotics, semiotics of culture, and semiotics of nature.Their interaction is a subject of human ecosemiotics. Both external communicative processes among people and the internal mental activity of individuals contain together natural and cultural semiotic components that interact and counteract with each other. In these processes, the natural signal-indexical codes can be transformed and supplemented by cultural conventions(if,for example, natural expressive movements are subordinated to cultural norms of gesticulation)or modified from pure cognitive means to means of communication―as the codes mediating transmission of perceptual images by depictions.Natural codes can compete with systems of cultural signs on the force of influence on people(as in various fashion systems)or in accordance with them participate in the creation of complex heterogeneous texts(as in arts).
