语言与文化密不可分。本文从文化对语言学习的重要性出发,针对我国目前大学英语的教学现状,论述了把英美文化背景知识融入大学英语教学的各个方面的必要性及具体做法。此外,结合目前大学英语学习的具体情况及英语教学发展的趋势,提出了从大学三年级开始增设口语课以弥补学生文化知识的不足的建议。
