This article analyzes the symbolic colors red,white,and blue in Lev Tolstoy’s works,exploring their interrelation and educational significance in reflecting the Russian national spirit.The article first reviews the symbolic significance of red,white,and blue in Russian history,and then analyzes in depth the multiple connotations of colors in Tolstoy’s classic works Anna Karenina,War and Peace,and Resurrection.Through the combination of color symbols with characters’destinies,inner conflict,and historical background,this paper explores how Tolstoy’s literary works reflect the historical changes and national spirit of Russia,especially the important value in education and cultural inheritance,providing a new perspective for the study of literary education and emphasizing the educational role of color symbols in literary works in shaping national spirit and cultural identity.

Protection of Historic and Cultural Heritage in the Urban Renewal of Xi'an City,China

Concept of urban renewal was elaborated,which for the protection of historic and cultural heritage not only provides a favorable opportunity of integrating neighboring environment and improving protection conditions,but also imposes threats such as destroying its historic images and patterns,degrading of survival environment.To properly protect historic and cultural heritage in the unceasing urban renewal,and make it a significant resource and feature of the city but not a barrier of urban development,empirical analysis and theoretical research were adopted to analyze and study current conditions and problems of the protection of historic and cultural heritage in Xi'an City from the dimension of urban renewal concept and present urban renewal of Xi'an.Moreover,through summarizing successful experience of other regions,specific strategies were given to protect historic and cultural heritage of Xi'an City in its urban renewal more scientifically and reasonably.

Study of Great Chinese Inventions Based on the Concept of Cultural Consciousness

Based on the concept of cultural consciousness, this paper clarifies the misunderstanding of the "Four Great Inventions", then defines the concept of inventions and corresponding grading and rating systems. Numerous senior historians of science and technology were invited to review the great Chinese inventions before the book The Thirty Great Chinese Inventions was finally compiled and published. This paper also points out that the Chinese themselves must clearly understand things concerning China and China must have a say over the issue of inventions.
