Sand fences made of punched steel plate(PSP)have recently been applied to control wind-blown sand in desertified and Gobi areas due to their strong wind resistance and convenient in situ construction.However,few studi...Sand fences made of punched steel plate(PSP)have recently been applied to control wind-blown sand in desertified and Gobi areas due to their strong wind resistance and convenient in situ construction.However,few studies have assessed the protective effect of PSP sand fences,especially through field observations.This study analyzes the effects of double-row PSP sand fences on wind and sand resistance using field observations and a computational fluid dynamics(CFD)numerical simulation.The results of field observations showed that the average windproof efficiencies of the first-row and second-row sand fences were 79.8%and 70.8%,respectively.Moreover,the average windproof efficiencies of the numerical simulation behind the first-row and second-row sand fences were 89.8%and 81.1%,respectively.The sand-resistance efficiency of the double-row PSP sand fences was 65.4%.Sand deposition occurred close to the first-row sand fence;however,there was relatively little sand on the leeward side of the second-row sand fence.The length of sand accumulation near PSP sand fences obtained by numerical simulation was basically consistent with that through field observations,indicating that field observations combined with numerical simulation can provide insight into the complex wind-blown sand field over PSP sand fences.This study indicates that the protection efficiency of the double-row PSP sand fences is sufficient for effective control of sand hazards associated with extremely strong wind in the Gobi areas.The output of this work is expected to improve the future application of PSP sand fences.展开更多

To analyze the effects of gas cannons on clouds and precipitation,multisource observational data,including those from National Centers for Environmental Prediction(NCEP)reanalysis,Hangzhou and Huzhou new-generation we...To analyze the effects of gas cannons on clouds and precipitation,multisource observational data,including those from National Centers for Environmental Prediction(NCEP)reanalysis,Hangzhou and Huzhou new-generation weather radars,laser disdrometer,ground-based automatic weather station,wind profiler radar,and Lin'an C-band dualpolarization radar,were adopted in this study.Based on the variational dual-Doppler wind retrieval method and the polarimetric variables obtained by the dual-polarization radar,we analyzed the microphysical processes and the variations in the macro-and microphysical quantities in clouds from the perspective of the synoptic background before precipitation enhancement,the polarization echo characteristics before,during and after enhancement,and the evolution of the fine three-dimensional kinematic structure and the microphysical structure.The results show that the precipitation enhancement operation promoted the development of radar echoes and prolonged their duration,and both the horizontal and vertical wind speeds increased.The dual-polarization radar echo showed that the diameter of the precipitation particles increased,and the concentration of raindrops increased after precipitation enhancement.The raindrops were lifted to a height corresponding to 0 to-20℃due to vertical updrafts.Based on the disdrometer data during precipitation enhancement,the concentration of small raindrops(lgN_(w))showed a significant increase,and the mass-weighted diameter D_(m)value decreased,indicating that the precipitation enhancement operation played a certain“lubricating”effect.After the precipitation enhancement,the concentration of raindrops did not change much compared with that during the enhancement process,while the Dm increased,corresponding to an increase in rain intensity.The results suggest the positive effect of gas cannons on precipitation enhancement.展开更多

In SDS-PAGF of medium conditi...The effect of TPA, a potent tumor promoter, on SSV-NIH3T3 cells in serum-free medium was investigated. TPA stimulated DNA synthesis of SSV-NIH3T3 cells on the third day of culture in SFM. In SDS-PAGF of medium conditioned by TPA-treated SSV-NIH3T3 cells (in SFM+TPA), the amounts of four proteins of 31.0 Kd, 28.5 Kd, 25.5 Kd and 13.5 Kd strikingly increased over that of non-TPA-treated counterpart (in SFM). The PDGF-like activity was also detected in CM of SFM+TPA. When insulin and EGF were drown off the SFM+TPA (SFM-Ins-EGF+TPA), TPA lost its ability to stimulate DNA synthesis of SSV-NIH3T3 cells on the third day and SDS-PAGE of the conditioned medium showed that the amounts of the four proteins noted above grately reduced. However, cells in SFM-Ins-EGF+TPA were in almost the same growth condition as cells in complete SFM+TPA on the third day of culture. Results were discussed in the paper.展开更多
[Objectives]To observe the clinical analgesic effect of Qianghuo Chushi Decoction(QHCSD)on patients with fasciitis,and explore its possible molecular mechanism based on network pharmacology.[Methods]120 enrolled patie...[Objectives]To observe the clinical analgesic effect of Qianghuo Chushi Decoction(QHCSD)on patients with fasciitis,and explore its possible molecular mechanism based on network pharmacology.[Methods]120 enrolled patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,and were separately treated with QHCSD formula granules and Diclofenac Sodium Enteric-coated Tablets for 4 weeks.The patient’s pain visual analogue scale(VAS)was used as the curative effect indicator.The molecular action mechanism of QHCSD was predicted based on network pharmacology,the active components of QHCSD were screened using TCMSP database,potential targets were predicted by PharmMapper server,compound-target network and protein interaction network were constructed,and GO-based enrichment analysis and KEGG-based biological pathway enrichment analysis were performed.[Results]After treatment,the pain scores in each group were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.01),the score of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.01),and the total effective rate of the experimental group was 83.33%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(78.33%,P<0.05).Based on 108 active components in QHCSD,a compound-target network was constructed.The PPI network contained 155 nodes and 527 interaction relationships,and key nodes included FOS,ESR1,NCOA1,RELA,EGFR,MAPK8,IL-6,etc.The GO pathway mainly involved steroid hormone and its receptor activity,RNA polymerase II transcriptional regulator binding,nuclear receptor activity,protein heterodimerization activity and other pathways.KEGG metabolic pathways included PI3 K-Akt signaling pathway,Kaposi’s sarcoma-associated herpesvirus(KSHV)infection and other pathways.[Conclusions]QHCSD has a significant analgesic effect on fasciitis,and the PI3 K-Akt signaling pathway may be the key pathway for its analgesic effect.展开更多

A drain current plateau （IDs = 32.0 mA/mm） for Vcs swept from ＋0.7 V to -0. 6 V is present in the transfer characteristics of InGaN/AIGaN/AIN/GaN HFETs. The theoretical calculation shows the coexistence of two-dimensional electron gas （2DEG） and two-dimensional hole gas （2DHG） in InGaN/AIGaN/A1N/GaN heterostructures, and the screening effect of 2DHG to the 2DEG in the conduction channel can explain this current plateau. Moreover, the current plateau shows the time-dependent behavior when IDs Vcs scans repeated are conducted. Methods Eighty-seven patients with severe craniocerebral injury were selected and randomly divided into the treated group (n=44) and the control group (n = 43), they were treated with conventional treatment, and XSTI was given additionally to the treated group. Intracranial pressure (ICP) and Glasgow coma score (GCS) of all patients were measuredafter 1 or 2-week treatment, and Glasgow outcome scale (GOS) of them was determined 3 months later. Then the therapeutic effect in the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the ICP was lower, GCS higher and GOS better in the treated group than those in the control group significantly, all showing statistical significance (P<0.05). Methods:Eighty-two patients were randomly divided (according to the digital list) into the WM group (n = 20, treated with prednisone), the TCM group (n=28, treated with ZYD) and the ICWM group (n=34, treated with prednisone plus ZYD). The clinical effect, negative converting rate of antisperm antibody, changes of NO level in semen and various parameters of sperm motion before and after treatment were observed. Results: The total effective rate in the ICWM group was 88.2%, that in theTCM group 75. 0% and in the WM group 65. 0%. Significant difference was seen in the ICWM and TCM group before and after treatment in NO level, sperm motion parameters, including linear motion speed, linearity, propulsion, whip frequency, sperm vitality and mean moving angle, and quality of semen ( P < 0. 05 or P < 0. 01).
