The Research on the Current Situation of English Interpreting Studies in Three Northeastern Provinces of China

Since the Master of Translation and Interpreting has been established under the approval of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and the Chinese Ministry of Education, translation discipline stepped into a rapid development period in China as well as the research of interpreting studies. This paper aimed at providing a brief introduction of the current situation and existing problems of English interpreting studies in Three Northeastern Provinces of China under the comparative analysis of literature in CNKI China Academic Journal Network Publishing Database from 2004 to 2013.

A Current Study of English Teaching in Primary Schools of Lincang City,Yunnan Province--Taking Mangling Primary School as an Example

With the implementation of the new curriculum reform and the development of the society,the Ministry of Education hasbecome increasingly demanding for primary school students’English learning.However,there are many problems in the teachingof English in many primary schools of Lincang city,Yunnan province.In view of this,on the basis of the second author of the the-sis,Li Junxin’s practical experience in a local school there,Mangling primary school,this paper analyze the current situation anddifficulties of English teaching in Lincang primary schools.Based on the analysis of the faculty,students’learning abilities,teach-ing materials and curriculums’setting of English teaching in Mangling primary school,this paper points out the reasons for theproblems in primary English teaching of Lincang city,and puts forward some improvement measures for primary school Englishteaching.

四川少数民族活态文学英译:现状与反思

四川少数民族活态文学英译是中国文学“走出去”的重要组成部分。四川少数民族活态文学英译分布不平衡性,译本选择较为拘窄,英译模式与策略较为单一。针对四川少数民族活态文学英译现状,结合民族活态文学的民族性、流变性、表演型和即兴性等特征,提出以下几点:加强战略规划,改善生态平衡;完善翻译模式,提高翻译质量;调整翻译策略,再现口传特质。四川少数民族活态文学英译研究不但能促进我国民族活态文学翻译的学理研究,对提高我国民族文学与文化的传播力和影响力也大有裨益。

中医推拿功法术语英译现状、原则与方法

推拿是中医的重要组成部分,随着中医对外交流增多,推拿也逐渐走入中外交流舞台。推拿术语主要包括手法治疗和功法训练,其中,功法术语的起源发展与传统武术紧密结合,具有鲜明的民族特征和丰富的文化内涵。基于推拿功法术语英译的现状,结合中医术语与武术术语的词汇特征,提出推拿功法术语翻译原则及英译方法,以期有效地再现功法术语的深层文化意义,为中医推拿术语的英译标准化提供参考。

高中生的英语学习定向动机流研究

本研究采用定性和定量的混合研究方法对高中生英语学习定向动机流进行深入研究。研究发现:定向动机流在高中生中被广泛识别;不同类别(性别、族别)学生的英语学习定向动机流存在差异,具体表现在定向动机流的四个维度和定向动机流的强度上;影响高中生定向动机流的主要因素包括考试、个人情感负荷、教师与同伴影响、目标设定以及惯常行为。

《职场英语》课程教学现状与反思——以四川工商学院为例

职场英语是当前大部分高校开设的英语运用能力提升课程,旨在帮助学生通过熟悉职场情境,掌握相关职场英文表达,更好地应对未来职场挑战。但是在实际的课程实施过程中,存在任课教师缺少企业职场经验,教学内容与职场真实情境脱节、对能力评价不到位等问题。此文章以具体院校为例,探讨职场英语课程实施状况,分析问题并提出解决思路。

研究生公共英语教材使用现状及对策研究

教材是外语教学中看得见的心脏,教材的选用不仅影响教师教学的开展,同时影响着学生的学习效果。本研究采用问卷调查、半结构访谈的方法调查了K大学215名2022级非英语专业硕士研究生《新一代大学英语》(发展篇)(综合教程2)教材使用情况,并探究教材评价的影响因素。调查结果显示:1)学生对《新一代大学英语》(发展篇)(综合教程2)非常满意,且认可其具有实用性,但应用性亟需加强;2)学生对课堂态度、认知策略的运用可以正向显著影响其对教材的态度。基于调查结果,建议使用《新一代大学英语》(发展篇)(综合教程2)教材的学生转变传统学习理念,积极参与课堂互动;教师积极打磨教材,转变课堂教学模式及加强认知策略讲授等。

商务英语教学中跨文化交际能力的现状及对策分析

跨文化交际能力在商务活动和交流中有着极其重要的作用,是商务英语专业学生应当具备的专业能力之一。为了培养和提高学生的跨文化交际能力,笔者对商务英语教学中跨文化交际能力的培养现状进行分析,发现其中存在课程体系不完善和教学方法单一等具体问题。针对这些问题,笔者分析了三个影响因素,即思维方式的差异、沟通方式的差异以及东西方对文化知识和理解上的差异。最后笔者提出相应的对策,即完善商务英语课程体系、丰富跨文化交际课程的培训手段、注重商务英语师资培养、不断改进教学方法以及引导商务英语专业学生参加实践活动,以期在商务英语教学过程中提高商务英语专业学生的跨文化交际能力。

The Research Concerning Preschool English Education in China in Recent 20 Years

In this paper, the author adopts the method of Content Analysis and Literature Measurement to analyze 99 theses aboutpreschool English education in the core journals. The results of analysis reveal that most of the researches on the preschool Englisheducation started at the beginning of the 21 st century and they have increased in volatility. What's more, there searches in thisfield tend to be hotter and hotter; it can also be seen from there that in the aspect of topic choosing, there searches are apt to focuson the Micro education teaching, and are unbalanced distributed. However, they pay less attention to the evaluation, administra-tion, familial preschool English education, the law of preschool English learning; and the perspective of study methodology, theyare relatively simple, which are inclined to center upon theoretical research.The researches are mostly carried out by the nonprofes-sionals and the repetition rate of the researchers. Therefore, on the basis of these results, the author proposes some pieces of advice.

文化安全观视域下大学外语课程“讲中国故事”现状及其路径研究

大学外语课程中讲述中国故事是新时代外语课程落实课程思政的重要表现,也是大学外语课程维护国家文化安全的重要途径。围绕讲述什么中国故事、为什么要讲述中国故事和如何讲述中国故事等问题的思考探究也正在成为近期外语学界和大学外语改革建设的热点问题。本文通过对云南在昆高校师生发放调查问卷和面对面访谈的形式,试图厘清当前大学外语课程中讲述中国故事的开展情况,梳理出存在师生讲述中国故事信心不足、教师教学理念滞后的主要问题,并提出重构学生学习外语目标、创新中国故事讲述媒介、建设中国故事讲述资源库等解决策略。

高职公共英语课程思政体系构建研究

课程思政是高职英语教学改革的重点,是践行立德树人理念的现实需要。通过问卷调查、访谈等方法对高职英语课程思政的实施现状进行调查分析,探寻高职英语课程思政在英语教学中存在问题及产生原因,并从重构教学目标、更新教学内容、创新教学方法、优化评价方式等方面入手,构建高职英语课程思政教学体系,旨在促进英语教学改革,巩固与强化思政教学成效。

中国英语学习者定向动机流体验强度研究

本研究采用问卷调查法,对来自国内15所高校的224名英语学习者进行了定向动机流体验强度的相关因素考察。研究发现,在可控因素中,重要目标、例行投入、阶段计划、肯定反馈和积极情绪显著影响定向动机流体验强度;在不可控因素中,年级显著影响定向动机流体验强度,性别、英语基础和专业对定向动机流体验强度没有产生显著影响。本研究可为激发和优化中国英语学习者的定向动机流体验提供借鉴与启示。

“讲好中国故事”背景下中国文化英语表达教学现状研究及启示

习近平总书记提出了“讲好中国故事,传播好中国声音”的重要观点,大学生作为重要的一个群体,肩负传播中国优秀传统文化的使命。在对保山学院2021级225名非英语专业学生进行的中国文化英语表达测试可以看出,学生的中国文化英语表达能力较弱,需要提高相关知识储备、利用多媒体资源有效学习以及加强英语语法知识学习,以提高学生的中国文化英语推介能力。

辽宁高职院校行业英语教学提升策略与方法

辽宁高职院校行业英语教学目标就是培养具有职业特色的应用型人才。目前辽宁省高职院校行业英语教学存在诸多问题,包括学生基础薄弱、学习目标不明确、教学团队能力不足、教材质量不高、教学方法单一等。针对这些问题,高职院校应设置合理的课程教学方案,提高师资队伍的行业教学能力,选择和调整优质的行业英语教材,打造“堂外堂”等措施,为学生提供更多的学习机会和实践环境,从而有效提升辽宁省高职院校行业英语教学的质量和效果。
