Background:The Mongolian gerbil is an excellent laboratory animal for preparing the cerebral ischemia model due to its inherent deficiency in the circle of Willis.However,the low incidence and unpredictability of symp...Background:The Mongolian gerbil is an excellent laboratory animal for preparing the cerebral ischemia model due to its inherent deficiency in the circle of Willis.However,the low incidence and unpredictability of symptoms are caused by numerous complex variant types of the circle.Additionally,the lack of an evaluation system for the cer-ebral ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)model of gerbils has shackled the application of this model.Methods:We created a symptom-oriented principle and detailed neurobehavioral scoring criteria.At different time points of reperfusion,we analyzed the alteration in locomotion by rotarod test and grip force score,infarct volume by triphenyltetrazo-lium chloride(TTC)staining,neuron loss using Nissl staining,and histological charac-teristics using hematoxylin-eosin(H&E)straining.Results:With a successful model rate of 56%,32 of the 57 gerbils operated by our method harbored typical features of cerebral I/R injury,and the mortality rate in the male gerbils was significantly higher than that in the female gerbils.The suc-cessfully prepared I/R gerbils demonstrated a significant reduction in motility and grip strength at 1 day after reperfusion;formed obvious infarction;exhibited typi-cal pathological features,such as tissue edema,neuronal atrophy and death,and vacuolated structures;and were partially recovered with the extension of reperfu-sion time.Conclusion:This study developed a new method for the unilateral common carotid artery ligation I/R model of gerbil and established a standardized evaluation system for this model,which could provide a new cerebral I/R model of gerbils with more practical applications.展开更多
Given the rapid development of China’s new urbanization,cities with different locations and varying functional positioning,resource endowments,and development stages have insufficient scientific and applicable techni...Given the rapid development of China’s new urbanization,cities with different locations and varying functional positioning,resource endowments,and development stages have insufficient scientific and applicable technical tools for implementing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).City managers and policymakers must urgently establish SDG benchmarks to diagnose city development.Moreover,successful experiences from similar cities regarding sustainable development and self-improvement must be learned from to promote diversified,sustainable development across the country.Furthermore,emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence,the Internet of Things,big data and 5G are widely used in smart cities.Therefore,there is a growing need for“knowledge-based,personalized and intelligent”technologies to support monitoring,evaluation,and decision-making processes facilitating sustainable development in cities.This paper uses standardization as the theoretical support and technical basis.This approach can help clarify the sustainable development processes in China and clarify the evaluation results of and provide data on horizontal city comparisons,which can be used to develop evaluation technology for sustainable development in cities and construct a standardized system.The results provide a standard framework for intelligent assessment and decision-making regarding cities’sustainable development capabilities in China.Evaluating major international standardization institutions reveals that the practices of Chinese national standards should be fully absorbed and integrated to guide the evaluation of smart,resilient,and low-carbon cities.To this end,an indicator library of city sustainable development is proposed to provide standard evaluation technology methods.Finally,analyzing the response relationship of the indicator library to SDGs reveals the need for a standardized knowledge map of sustainable development assessment techniques and methods from the perspective of integrated management for sustainable development in cities.展开更多

Thestiffness of the repaired bridge is improved, and the maximum deflection of the load test is reduced from 37.9 to27.6 mm. A bridge health monitoring system is installed after the bridge is reinforced. To achieve an easy assessmentof the bridge’s safety status by directly using transferred data, a real-time safety warning system is createdbased on a five-level safety standard. The threshold for each safety level will be determined by theoretical calculationsand the outcomes of static loading tests. The highest risk threshold will be set at the ultimate limit statevalue. The remaining levels, namely middle risk, low risk, and very low risk, will be determined usingreduction coefficients of 0.95, 0.9, and 0.8, respectively.展开更多

Theref...A rockbolt acting in the rock mass is subjected to the combined action of the pull-out load and confining pressure, and the bond quality of the rockbolt directly affects the stability of the roadway and cavern. Therefore, in this study, confining pressure and pull-out load are applied to grouted rockbolt systems with bond defects by a numerical simulation method, and the rockbolt is detected by ultrasonic guided waves to study the propagation law of ultrasonic guided waves in defective rockbolt systems and the bond quality of rockbolts under the combined action of pull-out load and confining pressure. The numerical simulation results show that the length and location of bond defects can be detected by ultrasonic guided waves under the combined action of pull-out load and confining pressure. Under no pull-out load, with increasing confining pressure, the low-frequency part of the guided wave frequency in the rockbolt increases, the high-frequency part decreases, the weakening effect of the confining pressure on the guided wave propagation law increases, and the bond quality of the rockbolt increases. The existence of defects cannot change the strengthening effect of the confining pressure on the guided wave propagation law under the same pull-out load or the weakening effect of the pull-out load on the guided wave propagation law under the same confining pressure.展开更多

However, there is still a lack of universal standards for the characterization of defects in SLM parts. In this study, a polarization-based imaging system was proposed, and a set of characterization parameters for SLM defects was established. The contrast, defect contour information, and high refection suppression efect of the SLM part defects were analyzed. Comparative analysis was conducted on defect characterization parameters, including geometric and texture parameters. The experimental results demonstrated the efects of the polarization imaging system and verifed the feasibility of the defect feature extraction and characterization method. The research work provides an efective solution for defect detection and helps to establish a universal standard for defect characterization in additive manufacturing.展开更多
The software engineering field has long focused on creating high-quality software despite limited resources.Detecting defects before the testing stage of software development can enable quality assurance engineers to ...The software engineering field has long focused on creating high-quality software despite limited resources.Detecting defects before the testing stage of software development can enable quality assurance engineers to con-centrate on problematic modules rather than all the modules.This approach can enhance the quality of the final product while lowering development costs.Identifying defective modules early on can allow for early corrections and ensure the timely delivery of a high-quality product that satisfies customers and instills greater confidence in the development team.This process is known as software defect prediction,and it can improve end-product quality while reducing the cost of testing and maintenance.This study proposes a software defect prediction system that utilizes data fusion,feature selection,and ensemble machine learning fusion techniques.A novel filter-based metric selection technique is proposed in the framework to select the optimum features.A three-step nested approach is presented for predicting defective modules to achieve high accuracy.In the first step,three supervised machine learning techniques,including Decision Tree,Support Vector Machines,and Naïve Bayes,are used to detect faulty modules.The second step involves integrating the predictive accuracy of these classification techniques through three ensemble machine-learning methods:Bagging,Voting,and Stacking.Finally,in the third step,a fuzzy logic technique is employed to integrate the predictive accuracy of the ensemble machine learning techniques.The experiments are performed on a fused software defect dataset to ensure that the developed fused ensemble model can perform effectively on diverse datasets.Five NASA datasets are integrated to create the fused dataset:MW1,PC1,PC3,PC4,and CM1.According to the results,the proposed system exhibited superior performance to other advanced techniques for predicting software defects,achieving a remarkable accuracy rate of 92.08%.展开更多

The application of maxillofacial prosthesis is an alternative to surgery in functional–aesthetic facial reconstruction. Computer aided design and computer aided manufacturing has opened up a new approach to the fabrication of maxillofacial prosthesis. An intelligentized rapid simulative design and manufacture system for prosthesis was developed to facilitate the prosthesis fabrication procedure.Methods: Maxillofacial prosthesis rapid simulation design and rapid fabrication system consists of three components: digital impression, intelligentized prosthesis designing, and rapid manufacturing. The patients' maxillofacial digital impressions were taken with Structured-light 3D scanner; and then the 3D model of prostheses and their negative molds could be designed in specific software; finally, with the resin molds fabricated by rapid prototyping machine, the prostheses could be produced directly and quickly.Results: Fifteen patients of maxillofacial defect caused by traumatic injuries received prosthesis rehabilitation provided by the established system. The contour of the prostheses coordinated properly with the appearance of the patients, and the uniform-thickness border sealed well to adjacent tissues. All the patients were satisfied with their prostheses.Conclusions: The rapid simulative rehabilitation system of maxillofacial defects has been approaching completion. It could provide advanced technological reservation for the Army in the issue of maxillofacial defect rehabilitation.展开更多

The CIDARS plays an important role in and has been integrated into the...The China Infectious Disease Automated-alert and Response System(CIDARS) was successfully implemented and became operational nationwide in 2008. The CIDARS plays an important role in and has been integrated into the routine outbreak monitoring efforts of the Center for Disease Control(CDC) at all levels in China. In the CIDARS, thresholds are determined using the ?Mean+2SD? in the early stage which have limitations. This study compared the performance of optimized thresholds defined using the ?Mean +2SD? method to the performance of 5 novel algorithms to select optimal ?Outbreak Gold Standard(OGS)? and corresponding thresholds for outbreak detection. Data for infectious disease were organized by calendar week and year. The ?Mean+2 SD?, C1, C2, moving average(MA), seasonal model(SM), and cumulative sum(CUSUM) algorithms were applied. Outbreak signals for the predicted value(Px) were calculated using a percentile-based moving window. When the outbreak signals generated by an algorithm were in line with a Px generated outbreak signal for each week, this Px was then defined as the optimized threshold for that algorithm. In this study, six infectious diseases were selected and classified into TYPE A(chickenpox and mumps), TYPE B(influenza and rubella) and TYPE C [hand foot and mouth disease(HFMD) and scarlet fever]. Optimized thresholds for chickenpox(P_(55)), mumps(P_(50)), influenza(P_(40), P_(55), and P_(75)), rubella(P_(45) and P_(75)), HFMD(P_(65) and P_(70)), and scarlet fever(P_(75) and P_(80)) were identified. The C1, C2, CUSUM, SM, and MA algorithms were appropriate for TYPE A. All 6 algorithms were appropriate for TYPE B. C1 and CUSUM algorithms were appropriate for TYPE C. It is critical to incorporate more flexible algorithms as OGS into the CIDRAS and to identify the proper OGS and corresponding recommended optimized threshold by different infectious disease types.展开更多

The primary resonance and internal resonance responses of the spalling model are analyzed by the averaging method, and the bifurcation characteristics with the evolvement of spall and internal excitation are studied by employing the singularity theory for the two-state variable system, which reveal the different bifurcation characteristics caused by the spalling defect. The design ap- proach employs a neural network, whose activation functions satisfy the sector conditions, to approximate the nonlinear system. To improve the approximation performance and to account for the parameter perturbations during operation, a novel neural network model termed standard neural network model (SNNM) is proposed. If the uncertainty is bounded, the SNNM is called an interval SNNM (ISNNM). A state-feedback control law is designed for the nonlinear system modelled by an ISNNM such that the closed-loop system is globally, robustly, and asymptotically stable. The control design equations are shown to be a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) that can be easily solved by available convex optimization algorithms. An example is given to illustrate the control design procedure, and the performance of the proposed approach is compared with that of a related method reported in literature.展开更多

文摘A preliminary feasibility study was set up for the HNBM standard system. By introducing the set theory and basic methods of the solid geometry and adopting the Verman three-dimensional structure ideology innovatively, the standards system of Hainan National Breeding and Multiplication (HNBM) was studied with the four-dimensional structure and integration by combining with the time dimension. The four-dimensional structure standards system will be useful for guiding the construction of the HNBM standards system, carrying on the division of labor and realizing the dynamic development of the standards system. The standards set of HNBM helps to computer programming and information management.

文摘Additive manufacturing (AM) technology such as selective laser melting (SLM) often produces a high refection phenomenon that makes defect detection and information extraction challenging. Meanwhile, it is essential to establish a characterization method for defect analysis to provide sufcient information for process diagnosis and optimization. However, there is still a lack of universal standards for the characterization of defects in SLM parts. In this study, a polarization-based imaging system was proposed, and a set of characterization parameters for SLM defects was established. The contrast, defect contour information, and high refection suppression efect of the SLM part defects were analyzed. Comparative analysis was conducted on defect characterization parameters, including geometric and texture parameters. The experimental results demonstrated the efects of the polarization imaging system and verifed the feasibility of the defect feature extraction and characterization method. The research work provides an efective solution for defect detection and helps to establish a universal standard for defect characterization in additive manufacturing.

文摘The software engineering field has long focused on creating high-quality software despite limited resources.Detecting defects before the testing stage of software development can enable quality assurance engineers to con-centrate on problematic modules rather than all the modules.This approach can enhance the quality of the final product while lowering development costs.Identifying defective modules early on can allow for early corrections and ensure the timely delivery of a high-quality product that satisfies customers and instills greater confidence in the development team.This process is known as software defect prediction,and it can improve end-product quality while reducing the cost of testing and maintenance.This study proposes a software defect prediction system that utilizes data fusion,feature selection,and ensemble machine learning fusion techniques.A novel filter-based metric selection technique is proposed in the framework to select the optimum features.A three-step nested approach is presented for predicting defective modules to achieve high accuracy.In the first step,three supervised machine learning techniques,including Decision Tree,Support Vector Machines,and Naïve Bayes,are used to detect faulty modules.The second step involves integrating the predictive accuracy of these classification techniques through three ensemble machine-learning methods:Bagging,Voting,and Stacking.Finally,in the third step,a fuzzy logic technique is employed to integrate the predictive accuracy of the ensemble machine learning techniques.The experiments are performed on a fused software defect dataset to ensure that the developed fused ensemble model can perform effectively on diverse datasets.Five NASA datasets are integrated to create the fused dataset:MW1,PC1,PC3,PC4,and CM1.According to the results,the proposed system exhibited superior performance to other advanced techniques for predicting software defects,achieving a remarkable accuracy rate of 92.08%.

文摘Over the past decade,national standard and industry standard of bio-fertilizer have been gradually established in China. Moreover,the microbial fertilizer standard system with Chinese characteristics has been firstly established by China in the world. Development of bio-fertilizer standard,especially the amplification and modification of bio-fertilizer product standard and the construction of bio-fertilizer standard system,etc. were summarized in this paper. Meanwhile,relative suggestions of existing problems were put forward.

An approach using the SLO principle to establish the technical standard system of strong & smart grids is put forward. A four-layered structure for the system is expounded, which consists of 8 domains, 26 technical fields, 92 standard series and hundreds of standards.

文摘Background: Maxillofacial war injuries usually cause severe facial organ defects and deformities, handicapping the patient's daily activities, even result in a tendency to commit suicide. The application of maxillofacial prosthesis is an alternative to surgery in functional–aesthetic facial reconstruction. Computer aided design and computer aided manufacturing has opened up a new approach to the fabrication of maxillofacial prosthesis. An intelligentized rapid simulative design and manufacture system for prosthesis was developed to facilitate the prosthesis fabrication procedure.Methods: Maxillofacial prosthesis rapid simulation design and rapid fabrication system consists of three components: digital impression, intelligentized prosthesis designing, and rapid manufacturing. The patients' maxillofacial digital impressions were taken with Structured-light 3D scanner; and then the 3D model of prostheses and their negative molds could be designed in specific software; finally, with the resin molds fabricated by rapid prototyping machine, the prostheses could be produced directly and quickly.Results: Fifteen patients of maxillofacial defect caused by traumatic injuries received prosthesis rehabilitation provided by the established system. The contour of the prostheses coordinated properly with the appearance of the patients, and the uniform-thickness border sealed well to adjacent tissues. All the patients were satisfied with their prostheses.Conclusions: The rapid simulative rehabilitation system of maxillofacial defects has been approaching completion. It could provide advanced technological reservation for the Army in the issue of maxillofacial defect rehabilitation.

文摘The China Infectious Disease Automated-alert and Response System(CIDARS) was successfully implemented and became operational nationwide in 2008. The CIDARS plays an important role in and has been integrated into the routine outbreak monitoring efforts of the Center for Disease Control(CDC) at all levels in China. In the CIDARS, thresholds are determined using the ?Mean+2SD? in the early stage which have limitations. This study compared the performance of optimized thresholds defined using the ?Mean +2SD? method to the performance of 5 novel algorithms to select optimal ?Outbreak Gold Standard(OGS)? and corresponding thresholds for outbreak detection. Data for infectious disease were organized by calendar week and year. The ?Mean+2 SD?, C1, C2, moving average(MA), seasonal model(SM), and cumulative sum(CUSUM) algorithms were applied. Outbreak signals for the predicted value(Px) were calculated using a percentile-based moving window. When the outbreak signals generated by an algorithm were in line with a Px generated outbreak signal for each week, this Px was then defined as the optimized threshold for that algorithm. In this study, six infectious diseases were selected and classified into TYPE A(chickenpox and mumps), TYPE B(influenza and rubella) and TYPE C [hand foot and mouth disease(HFMD) and scarlet fever]. Optimized thresholds for chickenpox(P_(55)), mumps(P_(50)), influenza(P_(40), P_(55), and P_(75)), rubella(P_(45) and P_(75)), HFMD(P_(65) and P_(70)), and scarlet fever(P_(75) and P_(80)) were identified. The C1, C2, CUSUM, SM, and MA algorithms were appropriate for TYPE A. All 6 algorithms were appropriate for TYPE B. C1 and CUSUM algorithms were appropriate for TYPE C. It is critical to incorporate more flexible algorithms as OGS into the CIDRAS and to identify the proper OGS and corresponding recommended optimized threshold by different infectious disease types.
文摘This study focuses on the bifurcation characteristics of the four degree-of- freedom gear system with local spalling defect to explore the spalling nonlinear dynamic mechanism. The dynamic model of the gear system with spalling defect, time-variant mesh stiffness, and nonlinear clearance is established to investigate the effect of spaUing defect on mesh stiffness and dynamic bifurcation. The primary resonance and internal resonance responses of the spalling model are analyzed by the averaging method, and the bifurcation characteristics with the evolvement of spall and internal excitation are studied by employing the singularity theory for the two-state variable system, which reveal the different bifurcation characteristics caused by the spalling defect. The results obtained herein can provide a theoretical basis to spalling fault diagnosis of gearbox.

文摘The emerging of diversified new telecommunications technologies leads to a continuous change of telecom networks. Consequently, the operations support systems of telecommunications operators are facing structure adjustments as well as new systems construction. In this situation, new generation operations support systems standards are urgently required. Several standardization organizations have made substantial progress in the study of the new generation standards, such as ITU' s study on Next Generation Network (NGN) management, TMF's on New Generation Operations Systems and Software (NGOSS) and CCSA's on network management standards. However, the existing operations support systems face the challenges of architecture improvement, change of the focus of operations support, orientation of customers' demands and technology evolution.

文摘A neural-network-based robust control design is suggested for control of a class of nonlinear systems. The design ap- proach employs a neural network, whose activation functions satisfy the sector conditions, to approximate the nonlinear system. To improve the approximation performance and to account for the parameter perturbations during operation, a novel neural network model termed standard neural network model (SNNM) is proposed. If the uncertainty is bounded, the SNNM is called an interval SNNM (ISNNM). A state-feedback control law is designed for the nonlinear system modelled by an ISNNM such that the closed-loop system is globally, robustly, and asymptotically stable. The control design equations are shown to be a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) that can be easily solved by available convex optimization algorithms. An example is given to illustrate the control design procedure, and the performance of the proposed approach is compared with that of a related method reported in literature.
