Deformed photon-added entangled squeezed vacuum and one-photon states: Entanglement, polarization, and nonclassical properties

In this paper, after a brief review on the entangled squeezed states, we produce a new class of the continuous-variable- type entangled states, namely, deformed photon-added entangled squeezed states. These states are obtained via the iterated action of the f-deformed creation operator A = f(n)a+ on the entangled squeezed states. In the continuation, by studying the criteria such as the degree of entanglement, quantum polarization as well as sub-Poissonian photon statistics, the two- mode correlation function, one-mode and two-mode squeezing, we investigate the nonclassical behaviors of the introduced states in detail by choosing a particular f-deformation function. It is revealed that the above-mentioned physical properties can be affected and so may be tuned by justifying the excitation number, after choosing a nonlinearity function. Finally, to generate the introduced states, we propose a theoretical scheme using the nonlinear Jaynes-Cummings model. 展开更多

We theoretically investigate the single- and few-electron states in deformed HgTe quantum dots (QDs) with an inverted band structure using the full configuration interaction method. For the circular and deformed QD, it is found that the energy of edge states is robust against the shape from the circular QD in various elliptic ones. For the few electron states, electrons will firstly fill the edge states localized at the short axis, then the states localized at the long axis of the QD before filling the bulk states. The filling of the edge states can be controlled by tuning the dot size or the deformation of the geometry of the HgTe QD, respectively. 展开更多

Under the hypothesis of the rigid-plastic material, specific efforts are placed on the developments of the key simulation techniques of the meshless Galerkin method because of the complexity of the deformation process as well as the generality and atomization of the simulation procedures for non-steady state large deformation plastic processes, therefore, an adaptive rigid meshless Galerkin method is developed. The influence domain control method is used in the least square approximation by dynamic evaluation of the magnitude of the influence domain and the effective control of the amount and the positions of the points in the least square approximation in order to improve approximation precision. The amount of the Gauss integration points in the discrete domain is maintained in a considerable magnitude in order to ensure the integration precision in the discrete domain. The length of the frictional boundary of the plastic deformation process may be getting longer when its deforma- tion is getting severe. Thus, the densities of the boundary points of some places get lower. The adaptive boundary points setting method is employed to improve the approximation precision of the boundary points and enhance the constraint of the boundary condition by adaptive control of boundary point density. Some typical extrusion processes are analyzed, detail simulation results such as the deformation field, velocity field, effective strain field, effective strain rate field, the volume loss curve and load-stroke curve are obtained. The effectiveness of the method developed is demonstrated and the precision of the meshless simulation is proved by overall comparison with the results obtained by using the commercial software deform. 展开更多

Within the framework of the linearized theory of electroelastic wave propagation,a model of a piezoelectric structure with a prestressed functionally graded coating made of piezoceramics of a trigonal system with a symmetry class of 3m is considered.The ferroelectric LiNbO_(3) is used as the main material of the structure.The initial deformed state of the coating material is homogeneous,induced by the action of initial mechanical stresses and an external electrostatic field,the properties of the coating continuously change in thickness.By the example of the problem of the propagation of SH-waves from a remote source for structures with an inhomogeneous prestressed coating in the case of an electrically free and short-circuited surface,the influence of the nature and localization of the inhomogeneity of the coating on the features of SAW propagation is studied.The separate and combined effects of initial actions on changes in the physical properties of the structure,the transformation of the surface wave field,and the change in the SAW velocities in a wide frequency range is studied.The results obtained in this work are useful for understanding the dynamic processes in prestressed piezoelectric structures,in the optimization and design of new structures and devices on SAW with high performance characteristics. 展开更多
