It can be divided into three parts, introduction, which gives main information about the novel, then an analysis of the two major women characters in the novel to show that irony of being a family angel without happy ending, and the discussion of Thackeray’s sarcasm toward this phenomenon reflected in the novel. Proper interpretation of such data critically depends on a clear understanding of the tissue specificity of Cre expression. The Dmpl- Cre mouse, expressing Cre from a 14-kb DNA fragment of the mouse Dmpl gene, has become a common tool for studying gene function in osteocytes, but the presumed cell specificity is yet to be fully established. By using the Ai9 reporter line that expresses a red fluorescent protein upon Cre recombination, we find that in 2-month-old mice, Dmpl-Cre targets not only osteocytes within the bone matrix but also osteoblasts on the bone surface and preosteoblasts at the metaphyseal chondro-osseous junction. In the bone marrow, Cre activity is evident in certain stromal cells adjacent to the blood vessels, but not in adipocytes. Outside the skeleton, Dmpl-Cre marks not only the skeletal muscle fibers, certain cells in the cerebellum and the hindbrain but also gastric and intestinal mesenchymal cells that express Pdgfra. Confirming the utility of Dmpl-Cre in the gastrointestinal mesenchyme, deletion of Bmprla with Dmpl-Cre causes numerous large polyps along the gastrointestinal tract, consistent with prior work involving inhibition of BMP signaling. Thus, caution needs to be exercised when using Dmpl-Cre because it targets not only the osteoblast lineage at an earlier stage than previously appreciated, but also a number of non-skeletal cell types.展开更多

Methods:Smyth’s reflective framework will be used to guide this reflection. Results: By engaging in critical emancipatoryreflection, author’s personal values, beliefs and assumptions are discovered through this process. There are somediscrepancies between author’s espoused values and my take for grant assumptions. Through critically analyzingthe historical, social culture, policy and personal constraints in detail, it helps author transform the practice issueinto a new way. Conclusion: Critical emancipatory reflection provides nurses with tool to uncover daily practiceissue, helps strengthen nursing values and improving care standards, and it should be encouraged.展开更多

Associating reports in recent years, we point out that the approximate exponential relationship between CRSS and the absolute temperatureat least in the region of the steep temperature dependence range of many materials is more common, even for bcc, fcc, and hcp single crystals. polycrystals and other covalent crystals,provided that the slip plane and slip direction are kept the same. Successful explanation with atomic force law shows that the interatomic forces (electronic structure) play a decisive role in determining the temperature dependence of yield stresses for a large number of materials.展开更多

However, the truth is that it is difficult to kill 100% of the cancer cells for these therapies and the remaining cells often leads to relapse. So the million-dollar question is, how to eliminate the majority of the remaining cancer cells so that the disease can be manageable in a clinical setting. Currently the best approach that is attracting much attention is cancer immune therapy and excit- ing developments in this field have led to cure in some cases that is unimaginable before [1]. There are two major parts to cancer immune therapy that need to work together to make the therapy successful. 文摘目的在重症监护病房(IntensiveCareUnit,ICU),护土难免会遇到需要限制治疗努力(limiting therapeutie efort,LTE)的患者,尽管多数护士还缺乏为这些临终患者及其家庭提供支持的准备。本综述旨在描述ICU护士在LTE中需要具备的能力。方法对2010年--2023年发表的文献进行综述。系统检索了5个数据库:Medline、Wiley Online Library、SciELO、ScienceDirect和Web of Science。使用关键评估项目工具西班牙语版(Critical Appraisal Skills Programme in Spanish,CASPe)作为评判性阅读工具。使用牛津循证医学中心(Center for Evidence-Based Medicine.,CEBM)评估工具确定证据级别和推荐强度。结果共纳入25篇文献。ICU护士LTE护理的能力包括对患者的直接护理、以家庭为中心的护理以及护士在团队中的作用。该综述确定了3个类别的能力:作为患者、家庭与跨学科团队之间维护者的能力,在LTE方面的决策能力,在患者生命末期治疗和护理干预的能力。结论ICU护士在LTE方面需要具备相应的能力,这对患者的生活质量死亡尊严以及患者家庭应对悲伤的全面支持至关重要。
