With the Old to Be New: Analysis on Design of Square Pagoda Gardenin Songjiang

The Square Pagoda Garden in Songjiang designed by Mr. Feng Jizhong is a model work of Chinese garden and modern architecture. Its basic pattern embodies the core idea of “with the old to be new”. This study mainly interpreted the Square Pagoda Garden from two dimensions of garden space and architectural structure, analyzed the unique creative characteristics and design ideas of the Square Pagoda Garden in combination with the characteristics of traditional Chinese garden architecture, and explored the “old” and “new” in the design of the Square Pagoda Garden.

The Role of Design Education as the Champion of Human Values

Bruce Nussbaum, past assistant managing editor of Business Week magazine, talks about a grand and broad definition of design with a capital ＂D＂ and the failure of design education to keep up with the expansion of this broader definition. The application of the design mindset over a broader scope of disciplines such as business and technology results in creative people from overlapping disciplines who are flexible, curious, and imaginative; have a tolerance for ambiguity and provide meaningful frameworks for difficult situations. The design process becomes a secondary skill-set that compliments another primary knowledge/skill base. With this model, business disciplines could apply design thinking to the understanding of fundamental economic drivers and technology/engineering/manufacturing disciplines could apply design thinking over deep process expertise in implementation. What about the work of the traditional design disciplines？ Following the model described above for business and technology, design disciplines should apply ＂design thinking＂ on top of some foundational skill set that comes from the area of human values. What is this primary skill-set？ This paper will attempt to explore and create a simple map of the area defined as ＂Human Values＂, to locate current design education within that area, to propose directions for design education to move within that area, and to propose similar educational areas within the fields Business and Technology.

Graphics Innovation Design Based on Cell Intuition Simulation Method

This paper proposes a new cell intuition simulation method which is a combination of intuitive simulation calculation method and the operation of binary image, and applied it in the innovation of the graphic design process. First of all, we study how to express a variety of graphics, and establish the definition of cell intuitive model, work out the cell intuitive operation process and many new cellular operators such as a variety of matrix blocks crossover operator, a variety of matrix blocks mutation operator, matrix blocks replace operator, matrix blocks compression operator, matrix blocks extension operator. By choosing two or more cells and selecting the artificial selection or fitness selection, we can set up and visualize the design and pick the best design results .Finally, validation is made on this algorithm by an example, and a innovation graphic is also represented.

COMPLEXITY OF VALUE CREATION IN SUSTAINABLE BUILDING DESIGN(SBD)

Value creation is a significant part of the sustainable building process.To understand the process of value creation,this paper identifies a number of important issues.First,the paper addresses the existence of and identifies reasons for com-plexity in the process of value creation over a whole lifecycle(WLC).Then,a conceptual framework model is developed and adapted to the WLC in order to monitor building process stages and intervals.Next,the concepts and strategies lead-ing to WLC value maximization are addressed.Finally,a conceptual WLC value creation model is proposed that is based on sustainable building process stages and building asset stakeholders’benefits.The paper indicates how value cre-ated is an accumulation of values acquired through various operations over the building WLC.

中华古都营城智慧的创新探索——北京老城总体城市设计的实践与思考

北京老城是东方古都的杰出代表,北京向来重视历史文化的传承,但在现代化进程中,古都历史文化保护仍然面临来自社会、经济、城市定位及交通方式变化等诸方面的压力和挑战。针对东方古都的杰出代表——北京老城,设计通过对北京老城东方营城智慧挖掘探索的研究主线,强调中轴线统领作用的“一轴带两翼”总体布局。在保护与发展并重的规划引导下,设计凝练了北京老城何以杰出的营城智慧——山水格局的自然调和、都城规制的礼制大成、理想城市的市井生活,揭示了北京老城历史传承的重大价值。在此基础上,通过传统城市设计与数字化城市设计技术方法的综合运用,设计进一步诠释了北京老城形态构成的内在规律特征,形成了“营城八法”的北京老城空间解析及价值体系,并最终指导了北京老城空间形态及环境的设计营造。

目的分析体知哲学对传统造物思维的影响,并阐释体知哲学下的当代设计认知模式。方法通过对比分析中国传统“体知”和西方“认知”的结构,挖掘体知中蕴含的整体性、直觉性、践履性、关系性思维模式特征,并通过“解题模式”框架研究“体知”思想下的设计认知模式。结论体知活动的基础是整体性思维下的天人合一;体知活动的主体是直觉性思维下的身心一体;体知活动的方法是践履性思维的知行合一;体知活动的结果是关系性思维的两一化生。体知哲学下的设计认知模式在整体思维中表现为满足约束限制与达成目标的过程;在直觉思维中表现为寻找表征的过程;在践履思维中呈现为行动反思与设定问题的过程;在关系思维中展现为联想组合的过程。

生成式AI模型人智共创中的对齐问题研究

目的以人工智能对齐的视角,探讨在人智共创中生成式AI模型如何对齐设计师的意图。方法通过要素分析,以人工智能对齐问题中的可解释性与可控性为研究视角,探讨生成式AI技术作为辅助设计工具如何对齐设计求解过程中“探索-创新-评估”三个设计阶段的具体意图与需求,并分析对齐阶段中需要解决的对齐问题。结果根据对齐阶段的任务构建基于人智设计概念表征交互式对齐方法、表征拓展方法与表征评估方法。结论在三个对齐阶段中分别构建意图对齐、设计空间拓展和设计规则匹配这三种方法,帮助设计师构建可控、可解释的人智共创方法,从而构建可控、可信的人智共创。

基于CiteSpace的红色文创设计可视化分析与方法研究

目的基于CiteSpace概述国内红色文创设计的发展状况,梳理关于红色文创设计的相关方法与理论模型,探讨未来红色文创设计发展的趋势,为研究者提供相关设计思路与发展动向。方法通过对国内相关文献的研究,梳理了红色文创设计的概念与发展现状,归纳了当前红色文创设计中包括文化转译维度、文化层次理论、叙事性设计的三种主要方法与理论模型。结论目前红色文创设计方法较为单一,很难满足用户的不同需求,且缺乏具体针对性的完整理论体系与设计方法。在今后的红色文创设计中,可以综合运用叙事性及文化转译维度等设计理论和手段,对红色文创设计和方法加以探究和创新,打造具有中国特色的红色文创产品,使红色文化得到更好的普及和弘扬。
