The function of the UHVDC test base of the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) is oriented to serve UHVDC power transmission and substation projects, especially power transmission from West China to East China, and...The function of the UHVDC test base of the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) is oriented to serve UHVDC power transmission and substation projects, especially power transmission from West China to East China, and to promote localization of UHVDC transmission and substation equipment. In essentials, this test base consists of UHVDC test transmission line, corona cage, outdoor test site, UHV test hall, pollution and environment laboratory, electromagnetic environment simulation test site, insulator laboratory, arrester laboratory and live equipment test field. This paper introduces the function and design idea of the test base, presents the main performance parameters of the above-mentioned test facilities, and summarizes the matters of concern when siting and planning.展开更多
A new method was worked out to improve the precision of springback prediction in sheet metal forming by combining the finite element method (FEM) with the data mining (DM) technique. First the genetic algorithm (GA) w...A new method was worked out to improve the precision of springback prediction in sheet metal forming by combining the finite element method (FEM) with the data mining (DM) technique. First the genetic algorithm (GA) was adopted for recognizing the material parameters. Then according to the even design idea, the suitable calculation scheme was confirmed, and FEM was used for calculating the springback. The computation results were compared with experiment data, the difference between them was taken as source data, and a new pattern recognition method of DM called hierarchical optimal map recognition method (HOMR) is applied for summarizing the calculation regulation in FEM. At the end, the mathematics model of the springback simulation was established. Based on the model, the calculation errors of springback can be controlled within 10% compared with the experimental results.展开更多
As the progress of 3D rendering technology and the changes of market demand, the 3D application has been widely used and reached as far as education, entertainment, medical treatment, city planning, military training ...As the progress of 3D rendering technology and the changes of market demand, the 3D application has been widely used and reached as far as education, entertainment, medical treatment, city planning, military training and so on. Its trend is gradually changed from client to web, and so many people start to research the 3D graphics engine technology on the web. WebGL and HTML5 rise in recent years and WebGL solves two problems of interactive 3D application on the web perfectly. Firstly, it implements the interactive 3D web application by JavaScript without any browser plug-in components. Secondly, it makes graphics rendering using the underlying graphics hardware, which is united, standard and cross-platform OpenGL interface. However, it is very difficult for 3D application web programmer to understand multifarious details. Therefore, a 3D engine based on WebGL comes into being. The paper consults the existing 3D engine design idea, architecture and implementation experience, and designs a 3D graphics engine based on WebGL and Typescript.展开更多
