Exploration and Research on the Development of Higher Vocational English Education in Guangxi

With the acceleration of economic development and globalization and the rapid development of China’s foreign economy,the position of English education in higher vocational education has become increasingly prominent.Particularly in the multi-ethnic and multi-cultural areas of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,higher vocational education undertakes the responsibility of talent export for the construction of the China-ASEAN foreign trade exchange platform.However,the current phenomena and problems existing in higher vocational English education in Guangxi need to be deeply discussed and solved.Therefore,this paper discusses the development ideas of English education mode in Guangxi higher vocational education and studies the feasibility suggestions,in order to provide a reference for the future development of higher vocational English education in Guangxi.

An Exploration of Higher Vocational English Teachers’Professional Development on Students’Learning Ability in the Context of New Liberal Arts

The concept of New Liberal Arts,a multidisciplinary combined integrator with Chinese values at its core,has brought new challenges to the teaching methods and professional development of higher-level English teachers.Based on the evolving professional development process of higher vocational English teachers in the context of the New Liberal Arts,this article analyzes how English teachers can integrate multidisciplinary knowledge and adopt advanced educational technology in the teaching process.On this basis,it discusses the role of teachers’professional development in enhancing students’learning ability,such as through deepening disciplinary understanding,adopting innovative teaching strategies,and implementing personalized teaching.At the end of the article,based on a variety of pedagogical theories,we put forward suggestions,including continuous professional training,interdisciplinary cooperation,and the application of innovative teaching techniques,which are mainly aimed at helping higher vocational English teachers get rid of the dilemma of the new situation,adapt to the needs of the new liberal arts education as soon as possible,and then effectively improve students’abilities.

Analysis on the Development Trend of the Art Education in Higher Vocational Colleges

Higher vocational colleges are an important part of higher educational institutions, and train a large number of high-quality skilled personnel each year and solve the personnel demand problems of enterprises and other employing units. In recent years, art is not ordy a popular program in higher vocational colleges, but also an academic specialty difficult to control in higher vocational education. Because of the special characteristics of art, higher vocational colleges should combine with the future development trend of art education in the process of making a flexible teaching reform strategy, but should be no longer only be limited to the current teaching reform, so that the demands on the training of professional art personnel in a different period of times can be fulfilled.

Strategies for Module Teaching in Public English Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges

The pace of vocational education reform is constantly accelerating.In addition,effective reforms at the level of curriculum setting and teaching management,innovation,adjustment and optimization in the teaching of specific disciplines are also an inevitable requirement for reform.There are many innovative choices in public English teaching in higher vocational colleges relatively and modular teaching can also become a basic innovative teaching choice.However,it must also be seen that whether the module teaching is carried out or the active role of the module teaching is not simple with resulted in the impact of relevant difficult factors cannot be underestimated.This article will specifically analyze on module teaching in public English teaching in higher vocational colleges and make reasonable suggestions on how to better implement the module teaching.

Present Situation and Development of Vocational Education in English

The rise of higher vocational education in our country is just a few years ago. In recent years, the country＇ s institutions of higher learning at different levels almost opened vocational school vocational classes, including a certain scale of running private schools, but also they have established nationally recognized vocational education classes to satisfy the high school grade point average of students for further studies to improve the quality of the people, for the country develop vocational and technical personnel played a positive role. But over the same period they are to be admitted into the school when vocational students are far from proficiency in English language, to classroom teaching English it brought many difficulties. Thus, with the deepening of China＇ s reform and opening up, especially after China joining the WTO, English as a common language has increasingly shown its importance. How to improve high vocational English teaching is topic worth serious discussion among educators.

Integrating Online Teaching into Public Physical Education - Taking Vocational Colleges in Chongqing as Examples

With China’s comprehensive development of information technology,it is now widely used in the field of higher vocational education,and online teaching has emerged at a critical juncture.In the information age,there are challenges in meeting the actual needs of contemporary vocational students with traditional teaching methods,along with higher vocational training and school-enterprise cooperation and enrollment work taking place.Online teaching can stimulate students’interest in learning,break the limitation of time and space in conventional teaching,as well as improve the teaching efficiency.Therefore,taking higher vocational colleges in Chongqing as an example,this study explores the integration of online teaching into public physical education courses,in hope to provide some reference for higher vocational colleges.

Chinese Vocational Students' Motivational Factors Pertaining to Gender within College English Curricula: a Study within a Southwestern Chinese Context

Predominant research within Chinese academic contexts focusing on students’ L2 motivational factors remain rooted inlarge-scale research that does not draw a distinction between students from different regional groups within Chinese higher educa-tion. This research seeks to focus specifically on a less-studied group within the Chinese College English curriculum: vocationalstudents—especially vocational students studying within an educational institution in the southwestern Chinese city of Chongqing.This small-scale survey(n = 129) was conducted in College English classes to determine if the motivational factors of vocationalstudents remained aligned or distinct from those of their peers across Chinese higher education. Subsequent analysis from the sur-vey findings have shown that while gender differences remain manifested and are aligned with established trends and assumptionspertaining to L2 motivational factors within this context, more research is required to delve into the reasons and rationale behindthe choices made by vocational students in southwestern China within this particular survey instrument.

产教融合背景下高职院校英语教育发展研究

高职产业学院是高职教育深化产教融合的创新载体,也是产教融合的高级阶段,在构建区域承载、行业节点、校企双主体的产教融合新发展格局建设中发挥着举足轻重的作用。基于江苏省6所高职产业学院院长的质性研究发现,当前产业学院共生体在多元主体协同共治局面、能量分配均衡格局、积极正向有利环境等方面存在现实困境。未来,应提升共生单元的内生力,形成多元协同共治共生局面,完善共生模式的分配力,强化互惠共生模式建设,增强共生环境的外驱力,营造助力共生体建设的宏观环境。

乡村振兴背景下高职学生劳动教育的探索与实践

大学生劳动教育是高职教育教学的重要组成部分。在乡村振兴战略背景下,基于高职助力乡村振兴和大学生劳动教育的现实需求,重点探索乡村振兴与劳动教育的有机融合,通过构建融合发展平台,对师生的精神品质加以培养,从而提高育人实效性,丰富群众精神文化生活,促进乡村地区经济大发展。课题组以高职院校为研究对象,对乡村振兴与劳动教育融合发展进行了探究,创新了高职助力区域乡村发展的模式,为区域发展贡献了高职力量。

高职院校公共体育课程思政效果评价体系构建研究

课程思政效果评价作为学校课程思政建设的关键环节,为提升育人质量提供重要的实践反馈和策略指向。分析高职院校公共体育课程思政效果评价体系的现状,发现其存在评价指标不够科学、评价方法单一及评价结果缺乏实践应用等现实困境。针对其困境,构建了以学生为中心,以校内评价为内环,校外评价为外环的评价主体模型,并从认知、情感、价值和行为4个维度出发,构建了包含认知提升、情感认同、价值取向、行为塑造4个一级指标,18个二级指标的高职院校公共体育课程思政效果评价指标体系,并对体系的各指标进行赋值,为高职院校公共体育课程思政效果评价体系的构建与完善提供借鉴参考。

共同富裕背景下浙江省高职院校学情调查分析

共同富裕的重要标志和动能是壮大中等收入群体,要扩大中等收入群体需要发挥高等职业教育塑造新生中等收入群体的功用。对11万多名学生抽样调查发现,浙江高职院校的生源主要来自县城及以下,家庭经济收入以中等及偏下为主,来自乡镇的学生有上升的趋势;高年级学生的学习满意度显著高于低年级学生,师生沟通和学生的时间控制呈现下降趋势;“双高计划”建设院校学生的满意度总体高于其他院校,而国家高水平学校建设单位和高水平专业群建设院校在人才培养方面不分伯仲;高职院校的人才培养成效与区域经济发展呈正相关性,位于区域经济发展强的高职院校学生满意度显著高于其他区域的学生,存在一定程度区域发展的不均衡性。赋能共富示范区建设,需要高等职业教育在兜底高等教育的同时增强学生获取和维护技能的意愿和能力,着力培育工匠精神;着力增强学生的数字技能等专业核心能力;在“双高计划”建设中更加强化人才培养的基础地位,将人才培养质量作为评价“双高计划”建设的重要指标;强化省域统筹,协同发展并推进优质高职资源下沉县域。
