This paper presents the synthetic and structure studies of molybdenum(tungsten)-copper-sulphur-dialkyldithiocarbamate cluster compounds.The reactions of(M=Mo,W;n=0,2),CuCl,and R<sub>2</sub>dtc ̄-(R<sub>2</sub>=Me<sub>2</sub>,Et<sub>2</sub>,C<sub>4</sub>H<sub>8</sub>,C<sub>5</sub>H<sub>1</sub>0) yield a series of tetra-,hexa-,and heptanuclear cluster compounds.Their spectroscopic properties and the synthetic reaction mechanism are discussed. 展开更多

A trinuclear linear Mo-Fe-Mo dialkyldithiocarbamate complex [Et4N] { [ Me2dtcMoO (μ-S)2 ]2Fe} has been obtained and structurally characterized, which contains two Me2dtcMoO-(μ-S)2 units coordinated to a central tetr... A trinuclear linear Mo-Fe-Mo dialkyldithiocarbamate complex [Et4N] { [ Me2dtcMoO (μ-S)2 ]2Fe} has been obtained and structurally characterized, which contains two Me2dtcMoO-(μ-S)2 units coordinated to a central tetrahedral Fe atom. A comparison of the structural parameters indicates the metal oxidation states of 2Mo(v) + Fe(III). The 1H NMR shows chemical shifts of Me2dtc ligands at 5 10.14 and 8 9.40 with the intensity ratio of 1:1. The cyclic voltammogram displays a reversible couple at - 1.41 V/ - 1.36 V responsible for 1-/2-anions of the complex and an irreversible oxidation at 0.5 V, which seems to show the apparent lack of stability for its neutral species (Me2dtcMoOS2)2Fe. 展开更多

Molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate(MoDTC)is widely used as a friction modifier in engine lubricating oil.Under MoDTC lubrication,the friction and wear behaviors of tungsten-doped diamond-like carbon(W-DLC)films annealed at 100-400℃were discussed and evaluated using scanning electron microscopy(SEM),atomic force microscopy(AFM),and Raman spectroscopy.Under(polymerized alpha olefin)PAO+MoDTC lubrication,the coefficient of friction of all samples decreased,but the wear rates of the W-DLC films annealed at 300℃increased significantly.By interacting with zinc dialkyldithiophosphate(ZDDP),the wear rates of W-DLC films annealed at different temperatures declined significantly owing to the formation of dense phosphate tribofilms on the worn surfaces. 展开更多
