Structure of Complexes of Lanthanides with N,N′-Dimethyl-3-Oxa-Glutaramic Acid

A new stripping agent N,N-dimethyl-3-oxa-glutaramic Acid (DOGA) was used in TRPO process to simplify the TRPO process. The structures of the complexes of the DOGA with Eu(Ⅲ), Nd(Ⅲ), La(Ⅲ) were characterized with extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy (EXAFS), infrared spectra (IR) and mass spectra (MS). The molecular formula of the complexes of Eu(Ⅲ) and Nd(Ⅲ) is deduced to be M(DOGA)_3, and only La(Ⅲ) can form the complex HM(DOGA)_4 under condition of high consistency of the DOGA. The coordination number of Ln(Ⅲ) in the complexes is 8, and all of coordinated donor atoms are O atoms. For Eu(Ⅲ), Nd(Ⅲ), the coordination numbers of O atom in the first coordination shell is 6 and the average coordination bond lengths of Ln-O are 0 240 nm, 0 244 nm respectively, while the numbers of the second O shell are 2.4, and the average coordination bond lengths of Ln-O are 0 260 nm, 0 262 nm. For La(Ⅲ), the coordination numbers of O atom in the first coordination shell is 6 and the average coordination bond lengths of La-O are 0 258 nm, while the number of O atom in the second coordination shell is 4.4, and the average coordination bond length of La-O is 0 28 nm. The results of IR and MS show that there is no water coordinating with Ln(Ⅲ) in the complexes. 展开更多

Impact of REE La and its EDTA complexes on eutrophic water body

The different concentrations (0.10, 0.25, 0.50, 1.00 mg/L) of La^3+ and the different concentrations (0.10, 0.25, 0.50, 1.00 mg/L) of La-EDTA were added into the simulant water body separately and the contents of DO, COD, N, P in the water body were determined regularly, The results prove that, when REE concentration is 0.25 mg/L or 0.50 mg/L, the growth of algae and eutrophication can be promoted. The promotive effect of latter is obvious. The condition that REE concentration is 0.10 mg/L or 1.00 mg/L can inhibit the growth of algae and eutrophication. Not only the promotive effect but also the inhibitive effect of La^3 + is stronger than La-EDTA. 展开更多

A new unsymmetrical solid Schiff base (LLi) was synthesized using L-lysine, o-vanillin and 2-hydroxy-l-naphthaldehyde. Solid La(Ⅲ) complex of this ligand [LaL(NO3)](NO3)·2H2O was prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UV and molar conductance. The thermal decomposition kinetics of the complex for the second stage were studied under non-isothermal condition by TG and DTG methods. The kinetic equation may be expressed as: dα/dt=A·e-E/RT·(1-α)2. The kinetic parameters(E, A), activation entropy S≠ and activation free-energy G≠ were also gained. 展开更多

A facile EDTA (ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid) complexing technique has been successfully employed to prepare La2Mo2O9 nanoparticles. The as-synthesized products are characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). The results show that a homogeneous transparent gel can be obtained with EDTA as the organic complexing reagent under the pH value of 3.0. Further thermal decomposition of the as-synthesized transparent gel by increasing the temperature up to 600℃ for 3 h results in the formation of La2Mo2O9 nanoparticles with a crystal size of about 30 nm. Moreover, the nanoparticles tend to form micrometer-sized aggregates with a three-dimensional network structure, which shows promising applications in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC), catalysts and so on. 展开更多

The complex crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a = 7.7358(17), b = 8.1664(18), c = 28.271(6) A, β= 95.184(4)°, V= 1778.6(7) A3, Z = 4, C14H14LaN3O11, Mr = 539.19, Dc = 2.014 g/cm^3, μ= 2.471 mm^-1, F(000) = 1056, the final R = 0.0350 and wR = 0.0659. In this complex, each metal center adopts a ten-coordination geometry formed by two N atoms from a ligand L and eight O atoms from three H2O molecules, a nitrate ion and carboxylates of two ligands. Each ligand adopts a N2,O3-pentdentate coordination mode using two N and two O atoms chelating a La(Ⅲ), and using another O atom of carboxylate to bridge another La(Ⅲ) center resulting in a 1D helical chain molecule. Intermolecular strong O-H…O and weak C-H…O hydrogen bonds extend the 1D chain structure into a 3D supramolecular architecture. 展开更多

The bimetallic ternary complex formation in the aqueous solution of La and Cu with alizarin fluorine blue (AFB) was studied by spectrophotometry.The ternary complex LaCu3(AFB)3 has maximum light absorption at 550nm.The colour reaction selectivity is fairly good and the method can be applied to the direct photometric determination of copper in lanthanum or some pure metals.A new mathematical approach to the treatment of spectrophotometric data for differentiation between mononuclear and polynuclear in solution is presented.The improvable fixed logarithm method is for complexes of the type MmBn(m=n) or MmBn(m=n).We report that La(Ⅲ) combines with AFB at pH 4.5 to form a single complex,withm=n=2,La2(AFB)2. 展开更多

In an acidic solution the mixed polynuclear complexes could be formed by association of rareearth-arsenazo Ⅲ complexing anions with copper o-phenanthrolinate cations.In this paper the formationconditions of lanthanum-arsenazo Ⅲ-copper-o-phenanthroline complex and its related reaction mechanismhave been studied in detail.The complex exhibits an absorption maximum at 663 nm and its apparent molarabsorptivity is found to be 1.22×105L·mol-1·cm-1.The molar ratio of the components in the complex isestimated to be La:arsenazo Ⅲ:Cu:Phen=1:1:1:3.Its possible molecular formula can expressed as[Cu(Phen)3](La-arsenazo Ⅲ).The reaction is used to determine micro amounts of lanthanum(or rareearths)in copper containning synthetic samples and satisfactory results are obtained. 展开更多

The interaction between La-Enoxacin complex and bovine serum albumins (BSA) were studied by fluorescence and UV-Vis absorption spectra. The research results indicate that the combination reaction of them is a single static quenching process, La-Enoxacin complex strongly bound BSA, the equilibrium constant K_0=1.45×107 L·mol -1 (at 25 ℃). The shortest binding distance(r) and energy transfer efficiencies(E) between donor (BSA) and acceptor (La-Enoxacin) obtained by Frster′s nonradiative energy transfer mechanism are as follows, r=4.07 nm, E=0.118. The hydrophobic force plays major role in the reaction. 展开更多

Lanthanum and nitrogen co-doped SrTiO3 was synthesized using polymerized complex method with Ti(OC3H7)4, SrCl2·6H2O and La(NO3)3·6H2O as starting materials followed by calcinations in NH3. Ethylene glycol and anhydrous citric acid were used as the precursors of synthesis. The samples were characterized using XRD, TEM, DRS, BET, EDX and XPS. The cubic-perovskite type of La/N co-doped SrTiO3 nanoparticle could be successfully synthesized. The photocatalytic activity of SrTiO3 for DeNOx ability in visible light region (λ > 510 nm) could be improved by co-doping of La3+ and N3_. The high visible light photocatalytic activity of this substance was caused by a narrow band gap energy that enables to absorb visible light. 展开更多

辽东地区赛马碱性杂岩锆石U-Pb年龄、Hf同位素组成及其对构造背景的制约

通过LA-ICP-MS测得辽宁赛马地区浅肉红色霞霓正长岩中的锆石U-Pb年龄为225.8±1.9 Ma,赛马碱性杂岩的侵位时代为晚三叠世。地球化学分析表明,霞霓正长岩SiO_(2)含量为55.87%~60.88%,Na_(2)O为0.41%~5.32%,Al_(2)O_(3)为17.81%~19.53... 通过LA-ICP-MS测得辽宁赛马地区浅肉红色霞霓正长岩中的锆石U-Pb年龄为225.8±1.9 Ma,赛马碱性杂岩的侵位时代为晚三叠世。地球化学分析表明,霞霓正长岩SiO_(2)含量为55.87%~60.88%,Na_(2)O为0.41%~5.32%,Al_(2)O_(3)为17.81%~19.53%,K_(2)O为9.46%~11.91%,MgO为0.46%~1.36%,里特曼指数为7.54~17.01;稀土元素总量较高,高于300×10^(-6),强烈富集轻稀土元素,(La/Yb)N值大于10,个别达到100以上;亏损Nb、Ta、P等高场强元素,富集Rb、Th等大离子亲石元素,总体表现出富碱性岩石特征。锆石ε_(Hf)(t)值为-13.37~-9.30,对应的两阶段Hf模式年龄T_(DM2)为2102~1855 Ma。通过岩石成因分析和构造环境判别,赛马碱性杂岩可能形成于由俯冲挤压向陆内伸展、拉张转换的动力背景下的下地壳(或上地幔)部分熔融。赛马碱性杂岩侵位时代(225.8±1.9 Ma)可能代表了华北克拉通北缘岩石圈开始伸展减薄的时间,也是郯庐断裂形成的时间。 展开更多

采用盆栽试验方法,研究了表面活性剂LAS(十二烷基苯磺酸钠)与重金属Cd单一及复合污染对黄豆生长和生理生化指标的影响。结果表明,在单一LAS污染条件下,较低浓度的LAS(≤15mg·L-1)能促进黄豆的生长,较高浓度的LAS(≥50mg·L-1)... 采用盆栽试验方法,研究了表面活性剂LAS(十二烷基苯磺酸钠)与重金属Cd单一及复合污染对黄豆生长和生理生化指标的影响。结果表明,在单一LAS污染条件下,较低浓度的LAS(≤15mg·L-1)能促进黄豆的生长,较高浓度的LAS(≥50mg·L-1)对黄豆有毒害作用。在单一Cd污染条件下,土壤中Cd浓度为5mg·kg-1和10mg·kg-1时,黄豆的生长受到严重的抑制。在同一Cd污染土壤中,随着灌溉水LAS浓度的升高,黄豆的株高、干重、叶片叶绿素含量和SOD活性都呈先升后降的趋势,当LAS浓度为50mg·L-1时,这些指标的数值最大,而MDA含量随着LAS浓度的升高呈先降后升的趋势。通过这些生长及生理生化指标的测定,可以得知低浓度LAS(≤50mg·L-1)能部分缓解Cd对黄豆的毒害。 展开更多

The crystalli... s: Ultrafine A2La2Ti3O10 (A=K, Na) powders with laminar structure were successfully synthesized by citric acid sol-gel method using ANO3(A=K, Na)?La(NO3)3?Ti(OBu)4 and citric acid as starting precursors. The crystalline phase of A2La2Ti3O10 can be obtained by thermal decomposition of citrate complex precursors at a relatively low temperature of 800 ℃ (600 ℃ for A=Na), about 300 ℃(500 ℃ for A=Na) lower than that of conventional solid state reaction process. The properties of the citrate precursors and the calcined powders were characterized by Infrared spectroscopy (IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), thermal-gravimetric-differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA), inductively coupled plasma (ICP) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) techniques. Results show that the average size of A2La2Ti3O10 powders obtained by citric acid sol-gel route was reduced to 200 nm×250 nm and the specific surface area was up to 19 m2·g-1. At the same time, the product was with more regular morphological characteristics. The synthesis process and the formation of A2La2Ti3O10 were also discussed. The obtained A2La2Ti3O10 was found to be transformed from A2La2Ti3O9.5 during the formation process. 展开更多

应用LA-ICP-MS对马厂箐岩体中(似)斑状花岗岩的锆石进行了U-Pb定年和微量元素分析。在CL图像上,(似)斑状花岗岩中锆石均发育有典型的振荡环带,锆石的稀土元素配分模式表现为亏损轻稀土,富集重稀土,具有强烈正Ce异常和中度负Eu异常,且呈... 应用LA-ICP-MS对马厂箐岩体中(似)斑状花岗岩的锆石进行了U-Pb定年和微量元素分析。在CL图像上,(似)斑状花岗岩中锆石均发育有典型的振荡环带,锆石的稀土元素配分模式表现为亏损轻稀土,富集重稀土,具有强烈正Ce异常和中度负Eu异常,且呈现出较高的Th/U比值等特征,表明所测锆石均为典型的岩浆锆石。马厂箐岩体(似)斑状花岗岩锆石U-Pb加权平均年龄为(33.78±0.21)Ma(MSWD=0.71),累计概率统计得到正长斑岩锆石U-Th-Pb年龄为(35.6±0.3)Ma、花岗斑岩锆石U-Th-Pb年龄为(35.0±0.2)Ma,宝兴厂矿段铜钼矿辉钼矿Re-Os等时线年龄分别为(35.8±1.6)Ma和(33.9±1.1)Ma,乱硐山矿段接触交代型金矿白云母40Ar/39Ar年龄为(35.25±0.36)Ma,人头箐—金厂箐矿段热液脉型金成矿白云母40Ar/39Ar年龄为(35.35±0.32)Ma,反映斑岩型铜钼矿化、接触交代型金矿化和热液脉型金矿化为同一个构造-岩浆-热液成矿系统的产物,Ⅱ期(33~37Ma)正长斑岩+二长斑岩+花岗斑岩+(似)斑状花岗岩岩性组合是成矿的地质体,为成矿提供了物质、流体和热动力条件,这期斑岩-热液-成矿系统的持续时间约为4Ma,铜、钼、金的成矿主要发生在Ⅱ期岩浆活动的早-中期。 展开更多

The infiuence of preparation conditions and thermal treatment conditions on the morphology and the structure of the oxide particles has been studied by using XRD, DTA-TG, TEM, FT-IR and BET surface area measurement methods.
