Due to the existence of radiation-induced conductivity, it decays fast in the first few hours after irradiation and exponentially slowly for the remaining time. The measurement of dark conductivity with this method usually takes the slow part and needs a couple of days. Integrating the Fowler formula into the deep dielectric charging equations, we obtain a new expression for the fast decay part. The experimental data of different materials, dose rates and temperatures are fitted by the new expression. Both the dark conductivity and the radiation-induced conductivity are derived and compared with other methods. The result shows a good estimation of dark conductivity and radiation-induced conductivity in high-resistivity polymers, which enables a fast measurement of dielectric conductivity within about 600 rain after irradiation.展开更多

The former can be sintered at a relatively low temperature of 1120 ℃. Characterization by SEM showed that the grain shapes of both ceramics are cubical, though the grain size of the former is much smaller. Dielectric constants measured at 20℃ were shown to vary with frequency in the range from I kHz to 2 MHz and dc bias field, and further that the dielectric loss of the former to be less than 2 × 10^- 3 in the frequency range of 20 kHz to 1 MHz, much smaller than that of the latter sample. For the former, temperature dependence of dielectric constant is much flatter and there exists an extended phase transition diffusion covering a wide temperature range of Curie temperature To. The smaller grain size of the former depresses the dc bias electrical field dependence of dielectric constant. The tunability is 7% under a bias field of 0.6 kV/mm dc.展开更多

This method is based on a four-field variational principle, which includes displacement and electric potential for the electromechanical coupling analysis, and additional independent fields to address the incompressible constraint of the hyperelastic material. Linearization of the variational form and finite element discretization are adopted for the numerical implementation. A general FEM program framework is devel- oped using C++ based on the open-source finite element library deal.II to implement this proposed algorithm. Numerical examples demonstrate the accuracy, convergence properties, mesh-independence properties, and scalability of this method. We also use the method for eigenvalue analysis of a dielectric elastomer actuator subject to electromechanical loadings. Our finite element implementation is available as an online supplementary material.展开更多

The complex permittivity and magnetic permeability of Fe and C composite particles matched well with increasing C nanoparticle content, and then the microwave loss property was improved.
