We first analyze the multiple noises in the full duplex radio system and model such noises as an α - stable distribution. Then we formulate a novel non-Gaussian SI problem. Under the maximum correntropy criterion (MCC), a robust digital non-linear self-interference cancellation algorithm is proposed for the SI channel estimation. A gradient descent based algorithm is derived to search the optimal solution. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve a smaller estimation error and a higher pseudo signal to interference plus noise ratio (PSINR) than the well-known least mean square (LMS) algorithm and least square (LS) algorithm.展开更多

In this work, we propose a convenient look-up-table-based (LUT-based) method to compensate for the non-linear error in captured fringe patterns. Without extra calibration, this LUT-based method completely utilizes the captured fringe pattern by recording the full-field differences. Then, a phase compensation map is established to revise the measured phase. Experimental results demonstrate that this method works effectively.展开更多

Such editing algorithms are presented. Based on an analysis of the structure of the MPEG-1/2 stream, and using parameters of the video, audio and the synchronization information, the video, audio and synchronization editing algorithms are provided. The characters of the algorithms are efficient, the quality loss of frames is low because it only decodes and codes part of the data; the editing algorithm is fast through use of some index files; synchronization editing is realized using the synchronization information, such as PTS, ESCR and other parameters.展开更多

In this paper, a model of an extra high speed digital valve applied in fuel injection system was presented. In order to get the ability of fast response and a simple construction, a new concept for designing and predicting the valve was presented herewith. A new predicting simulation model of the entire test stand was utilized in order to parameterize the model against measured data. The new model predicts transient valve behavior and the proper dynamic coupling between the electrical, magnetic, mechanical and fluid subsystems. Based on the model and simulation, a prototype valve with working pressure of 120 MPa and frequency of 2 kHz was designed and fabricated, its experimental and prediction results for armature motion show excellent agreement.展开更多

By using simplified model from original mesh, the editing task can be accomplished with a few operations. We take the deformation of the proxy and the position coordinates of the mesh models as geometry signal. Wavelet analysis is em- ployed to separate local detail information gracefully. The crucial innovation of this paper is a new adaptive regular sampling approach for our signal analysis based editing framework. In our approach, an original mesh is resampled and then refined itera- tively which reflects optimization of our proposed spectrum preserving energy. As an extension of our spectrum editing scheme, the editing principle is applied to geometry details transferring, which brings satisfying results.展开更多

We can measure the diameters of entire tree trunks efficiently and with high precision. The system uses a digital camera with a ~15 - 30× telephoto lens to take a photograph that can be used for measuring the diameter of the upper part of a comparatively slender tree trunk. Since this method requires a measuring distance and the height of the target point in the image, a range finder capable of measuring angles was combined with the main digiscoping system. A range finder sensor uses a laser and makes a 360 degree angle of observation possible. The diameter of a target position of the objective tree can be obtained by measuring the digital image using image editing software and calculations from spreadsheet software. We focus on the Japanese cedar species in the southwestern part of Japan. Photographic measurements were obtained prior to thinning. The estimates that we obtained largely agree with the true measurements of all trees. With regard to the estimated accuracy of all measured trees, the maximum error ratio was 7.0% (1.45 cm), with a ~2% - 4% error for most of the estimated results. Although the absolute value of the estimation error was 1.87 cm (5.3%) at the maximum (9.87 m in height and 35.5 cm in diameter), an estimation accuracy of <1 cm was reproduced in almost all measurements except for the extreme hypertrophy portion by butt swelling.展开更多
