With regard to precision/ultra-precision motion systems,it is important to achieve excellent tracking performance for various trajectory tracking tasks even under uncertain external disturbances.In this paper,to overc...With regard to precision/ultra-precision motion systems,it is important to achieve excellent tracking performance for various trajectory tracking tasks even under uncertain external disturbances.In this paper,to overcome the limitation of robustness to trajectory variations and external disturbances in offline feedforward compensation strategies such as iterative learning control(ILC),a novel real-time iterative compensation(RIC)control framework is proposed for precision motion systems without changing the inner closed-loop controller.Specifically,the RIC method can be divided into two parts,i.e.,accurate model prediction and real-time iterative compensation.An accurate prediction model considering lumped disturbances is firstly established to predict tracking errors at future sampling times.In light of predicted errors,a feedforward compensation term is developed to modify the following reference trajectory by real-time iterative calculation.Both the prediction and compen-sation processes are finished in a real-time motion control sampling period.The stability and convergence of the entire control system after real-time iterative compensation is analyzed for different conditions.Various simulation results consistently demonstrate that the proposed RIC framework possesses satisfactory dynamic regulation capability,which contributes to high tracking accuracy comparable to ILC or even better and strong robustness.展开更多

The effectiveness of various compensation methods in different test scenar...The delay compensation method plays an essential role in maintaining the stability and achieving accurate real-time hybrid simulation results. The effectiveness of various compensation methods in different test scenarios, however, needs to be quantitatively evaluated. In this study, four compensation methods (i.e., the polynomial extrapolation, the linear acceleration extrapolation, the inverse compensation and the adaptive inverse compensation) are selected and compared experimentally using a frequency evaluation index (FEI) method. The effectiveness of the FEI method is first verified through comparison with the discrete transfer fimction approach for compensation methods assuming constant delay. Incomparable advantage is further demonstrated for the FEI method when applied to adaptive compensation methods, where the discrete transfer function approach is difficult to implement. Both numerical simulation and laboratory tests with predefined displacements are conducted using sinusoidal signals and random signals as inputs. Findings from numerical simulation and experimental results demonstrate that the FEI method is an efficient and effective approach to compare the performance of different compensation methods, especially for those requiring adaptation of compensation parameters.展开更多
In order to generate the digital gear tooth surfaces(DGTS)with high efficiency and high precision,a method for identification and compensation of machining errors is demonstrated in this paper.Machining errors are ana...In order to generate the digital gear tooth surfaces(DGTS)with high efficiency and high precision,a method for identification and compensation of machining errors is demonstrated in this paper.Machining errors are analyzed directly from the real tooth surfaces.The topography data of the part are off-line measured in the post-process.A comparison is made between two models:CAD model of DGTS and virtual model of the physical measured surface.And a matching rule is given to determine these two surfaces in an appropriate fashion.The developed error estimation model creates a point-to-point map of the real surface to the theoretical surface in the normal direction.A“pre-calibration error compensation”strategy is presented.Through processing the results of the first trail cutting,the total compensation error is predicted and an imaginary digital tooth surface is reconstructed. The machining errors in the final manufactured surfaces are minimized by generating this imaginary surface.An example of ma- chining 2-D DGTS verifies the developed method.The research is of important theoretical and practical value to manufacture the DGTS and other digital conjugate surfaces.展开更多

Based on the pipeline processing of the field-programmable gate array and high-speed PCI extensions for instrumentation platform, the digital integrator has realized octal-channel10-k Hz real-time integration and data transmission. In order to reduce the integration drift, a 24-bit analog-todigital converter and simple analog processing circuits are applied for high-precision sampling, while certain correction algorithms are used to minimize the drift. With simple and highly integrated circuits and high-performance digital processor, the digital integrator is of high stability and functional expansibility which greatly simplifies the operation procedure. The digital integrator has been tested in the plasma discharge experiments, and the experimental results have confirmed that the drift performance and accuracy of the digital integrator could fully meet the requirements of HL-2A.展开更多

The ARM, with its powerful calculating speed and complete peripheral equipments, is very suitable to work as the controller of the digital power supply. The micro C/OS- Ⅱ transplanted in ARM, helps to improve the respondent speed against various welding signals, as well as the reliability of the controlling software. The welding process consists of nine tasks. The tasks of great significance on reliability of the welder, for example, the A/D conversion of current and voltage, enjoy top priority. To avoid simultaneous-sharing on A/D converter and LCD module, two semaphores are introduced in to ensure the smooth performance of the welding power supply. A linearly chirped fiber Bragg grating is optimally designed and used to compensate for the entire time-delays of the quantized pulses precisely. Simulation results show that the compensated coding pulses are well synchronized with a time difference less than 3.3 ps, which can support a maximum sampling rate of 151.52 GSa/s. The proposed scheme can efficiently reduce the structure complexity and cost of all-optical analog-to-digital conversion compared to the previous schemes with multiple optical time-delay lines.展开更多

The continuous calibrated microwave radiometer was also insensitive to system noise fluctuations. On the base of the results, a new compensation method called using former period characteristics to compensate latter smoothness data (UFCL for short) method is proposed considering the INS working characteristics. This new method uses the original data without smoothing to work out an error conversion formula at the INS initial alignment time and then compensate the smoothed data errors by way of the formula at the navigation time. Both theoretical analysis and experimental results demonstrate that this method is able to cut down on computational time and raise the accuracy which makes it a better real-time compensation approach for periodic error terms of quartz micro electronic mechanical system (MEMS) gyroscope's zero drift.展开更多

Firstly, the split-ADC channels in present TIADC architecture are designed to convert input signal at two different channel sampling rates so that redundant channel to facilitate pair permutation is avoided. Secondly, a high-order compensation scheme for correction of timing skew error is employed for effective calibration to preserve high-resolution when input frequency is high. Numerical simulation performed by MATLAB for a 14-bit TIADC based on 7 split-ADC channels shows that Signal-to-Noise and Distortion Ratio (SNDR) and Spurious Free Dynamic Range (SFDR) of the TIADC achieve 86.2 dBc and 106 dBc respectively after calibration with normalized input frequency near Nyquist frequency.展开更多
Bacterial fruit blotch caused by Acidovorax citrulli is a serious threat to cucurbit industry worldwide.The pathogen is seedtransmitted,so seed detection to prevent distribution of contaminated seed is crucial in dise...Bacterial fruit blotch caused by Acidovorax citrulli is a serious threat to cucurbit industry worldwide.The pathogen is seedtransmitted,so seed detection to prevent distribution of contaminated seed is crucial in disease management.In this study,we adapted a quantitative real-time PCR(qPCR)assay to droplet digital PCR(ddPCR)format for A.citrulli detection by optimizing reaction conditions.The performance of ddPCR in detecting A.citrulli pure culture,DNA,infested watermelon/melon seed and commercial seed samples were compared with multiplex PCR,qPCR,and dilution plating method.The lowest concentrations detected(LCD)by ddPCR reached up to 2 fg DNA,and 102 CFU mL–1 bacterial cells,which were ten times more sensitive than those of the qPCR.When testing artificially infested watermelon and melon seed,0.1%infestation level was detectable using ddPCR and dilution plating method.The 26 positive samples were identified in 201 commercial seed samples through ddPCR,which was the highest positive number among all the methods.High detection sensitivity achieved by ddPCR demonstrated a promising technique for improving seed-transmitted pathogen detection threshold in the future.展开更多

The sensitivity, specificity and reproducibility of...A digital RT-PCR method for rapid detection of H9 subtype influenza was established by comparing the two methods of digital RT-PCR and real-time quantitative RT-PCR. The sensitivity, specificity and reproducibility of the two methods for H9 were determined by gradient dilution using the same pair of primers and probes. Both methods were able to detect 104 times diluted H9 pathogens, while digital RT-PCR could detect H9 in single droplets, and its sensitivity was higher than real-time quantitative RT-PCR. At the same time, the specificities of both methods were very strong, with no amplification reactions for H3N2, H4N2, H6N2. The reproducibility of the two methods were also good. Digital RT-PCR has a higher sensitivity than real-time quantitative RT-PCR and could play an important role in the rapid detection of H9 subtype influenza virus.展开更多

A large number of DBP steps is usually needed for a long-haul fiber system, and th...Split-step digital backward propagation (DBP) can be combined with coherent detection to compensate for fiber nonlinear impairments. A large number of DBP steps is usually needed for a long-haul fiber system, and this creates a heavy computational load. In a trade-off between complexity and performance, interchannel nonlinearity can be disregarded in order to simplify the DBP algorithm. The number of steps can also be reduced at the expense of performance. In periodic dispersion-managed long-haul transmission systems, optical waveform distortion is dominated by chromatic dispersion. As a result, the nonlinearity of the optical signal repeats in every dispersion period. Because of this periodic behavior, DBP of many fiber spans can be folded into one span. Using this distance-folded DBP method, the required computation for a transoceanic transmission system with full inline dispersion compensation can be reduced by up to two orders of magnitude with negligible penalty. The folded DBP method can be modified to compensate for nonlinearity in fiber links with non-zero residua dispersion per span.展开更多

The continuous calibrated microwave radiometer was also insensitive to system noise fluctuations. The minimum detectable signals were 0.13 and 0.19K respectively under an integration time of 0.6s.

文摘In order to improve the navigation accuracy of an inertial navigation system (INS), composed of quartz gyroscopes, the existing real-time compensation methods for periodic errors in quartz gyroscope drift and the periodic error term relationship between sampled original data and smoothed data are reviewed. On the base of the results, a new compensation method called using former period characteristics to compensate latter smoothness data (UFCL for short) method is proposed considering the INS working characteristics. This new method uses the original data without smoothing to work out an error conversion formula at the INS initial alignment time and then compensate the smoothed data errors by way of the formula at the navigation time. Both theoretical analysis and experimental results demonstrate that this method is able to cut down on computational time and raise the accuracy which makes it a better real-time compensation approach for periodic error terms of quartz micro electronic mechanical system (MEMS) gyroscope's zero drift.

文摘A novel Time-Interleaved Analog-to-Digital Converter (TIADC) digital background calibration for the mismatches of offsets, gain errors, and timing skews based on split-ADC is proposed. Firstly, the split-ADC channels in present TIADC architecture are designed to convert input signal at two different channel sampling rates so that redundant channel to facilitate pair permutation is avoided. Secondly, a high-order compensation scheme for correction of timing skew error is employed for effective calibration to preserve high-resolution when input frequency is high. Numerical simulation performed by MATLAB for a 14-bit TIADC based on 7 split-ADC channels shows that Signal-to-Noise and Distortion Ratio (SNDR) and Spurious Free Dynamic Range (SFDR) of the TIADC achieve 86.2 dBc and 106 dBc respectively after calibration with normalized input frequency near Nyquist frequency.

文摘Bacterial fruit blotch caused by Acidovorax citrulli is a serious threat to cucurbit industry worldwide.The pathogen is seedtransmitted,so seed detection to prevent distribution of contaminated seed is crucial in disease management.In this study,we adapted a quantitative real-time PCR(qPCR)assay to droplet digital PCR(ddPCR)format for A.citrulli detection by optimizing reaction conditions.The performance of ddPCR in detecting A.citrulli pure culture,DNA,infested watermelon/melon seed and commercial seed samples were compared with multiplex PCR,qPCR,and dilution plating method.The lowest concentrations detected(LCD)by ddPCR reached up to 2 fg DNA,and 102 CFU mL–1 bacterial cells,which were ten times more sensitive than those of the qPCR.When testing artificially infested watermelon and melon seed,0.1%infestation level was detectable using ddPCR and dilution plating method.The 26 positive samples were identified in 201 commercial seed samples through ddPCR,which was the highest positive number among all the methods.High detection sensitivity achieved by ddPCR demonstrated a promising technique for improving seed-transmitted pathogen detection threshold in the future.
文摘A digital RT-PCR method for rapid detection of H9 subtype influenza was established by comparing the two methods of digital RT-PCR and real-time quantitative RT-PCR. The sensitivity, specificity and reproducibility of the two methods for H9 were determined by gradient dilution using the same pair of primers and probes. Both methods were able to detect 104 times diluted H9 pathogens, while digital RT-PCR could detect H9 in single droplets, and its sensitivity was higher than real-time quantitative RT-PCR. At the same time, the specificities of both methods were very strong, with no amplification reactions for H3N2, H4N2, H6N2. The reproducibility of the two methods were also good. Digital RT-PCR has a higher sensitivity than real-time quantitative RT-PCR and could play an important role in the rapid detection of H9 subtype influenza virus.
文摘A small-signal model of current programmed mode pulse width modulation converter including the equivalent sampling effect is introduced and analyzed. In this model, an addition pole is brought out by the sampling effect in the current loop gain, and it affects dynamic bandwidth and stability of the inner current loop. By selecting the appropriate stability parameter which determines the additional pole and describes the degree of peaking in closed loop transfer function, a control model of current programmed full bridge arc welding inverter with maximum frequency bandwidth and stability can be obtained. Small and large amplitude pulse current outputs are employed in simulations and experiments and results validate the design method.

文摘The growing problems of harmonic pollution on coal mine power lines caused by high-power DC drive systems has increased the use of active power filters.We analyzed compensation errors caused by the time lag in the detecting circuits of an active power filter based on DSP control.We derived a mathematical model for the compensation error starting from the error estimation when a single distortion frequency is present.This model was then extended to the case where multiple frequencies are present in the distortion.A formula for a general theory of compensation error with fixed load and fixed lag time is presented.The theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the delay time of an active power filter mainly arises from the sampling time.Lower sampling frequencies introduce larger compensation errors in the active power filter reference current.
文摘A digital filtering method is presented to compensate the dynamic characteristics of measuring systems.The compensation filter has an infinite impulse response property and is designed by system identification approach from the known input output pairs of the measuring system.Applications of this method to eliminating the distortions of measured waveform in transient pulse measurement are investigated.Experimental results show that the measurement errors caused by the sensor are reduced to be very small after the use of the compensation filter.

In this paper, a novel and efficient authorization and authentication Digital Rights Management (DRM) s chema is proposed firstly for secure multimedia delivery, then based on the sche ma, a real-time digital signature algorithm built on Elliptic Curve Cryptograph y (ECC) is adopted for fast authentication and verification of licensing managem ent, thus secure multimedia delivery via TCP/RTP can efficiently work with real -time transaction response and high Quality of Service (QoS) . Performance eval uations manifest the proposed schema is secure, available for real-time media s tream authentication and authorization without much effected of QoS. The propose d schema is not only available for Client/Server media service but can be easily extended to P2P and broadcasting network for trusted rights management.
文摘Split-step digital backward propagation (DBP) can be combined with coherent detection to compensate for fiber nonlinear impairments. A large number of DBP steps is usually needed for a long-haul fiber system, and this creates a heavy computational load. In a trade-off between complexity and performance, interchannel nonlinearity can be disregarded in order to simplify the DBP algorithm. The number of steps can also be reduced at the expense of performance. In periodic dispersion-managed long-haul transmission systems, optical waveform distortion is dominated by chromatic dispersion. As a result, the nonlinearity of the optical signal repeats in every dispersion period. Because of this periodic behavior, DBP of many fiber spans can be folded into one span. Using this distance-folded DBP method, the required computation for a transoceanic transmission system with full inline dispersion compensation can be reduced by up to two orders of magnitude with negligible penalty. The folded DBP method can be modified to compensate for nonlinearity in fiber links with non-zero residua dispersion per span.
