This study measured Leptochloa c...The purpose was to define the control efficiency and safety of 20% cy- halofop-butyl WP on grass weeds in direct seeded rice fields, in order to provide the basis for chemical weeding. This study measured Leptochloa chinensis(L.) Nees, Echinoch/oa crusgalli (L.) Beauv and other gramineous weed control efficiency with four concentrations of 20% cyhalofop-dutyl WP and 100 g/L cyhalofop-dutyl EC in direct seeded rice fields, and analyzed the yield-increasing effect and safety of rice. The results showed that 20% cyhalofop-butyl WP had a good control efficiency on grass weeds such as Leptochloa chinensis(L.) Nees, Echinoch/oa crusgalli(L.) Beauv and other grasses. The effective dosage of 90-150 g/hm2 was over 90.7% on Lep- foch/oa chinensis(L.) Nees and the comprehensive control effect of the grass weeds was above 86.7%, which was basically consistent with 100 g/L cyhalofop-dutyl EC. Furthermore, 20% cyhalofop-dutyl WP was high security for direct seeded rice fields. The yield of rice was increased by 10.18%-11.22% after spraying herbicide. There- fore, 20% of cyhalofop-dutyl WP can be used as a special herbicide for controlling Leptochloa chinensis(L.) Beauv in direct seeded rice fields, and has a good applica- tion prospect.展开更多

The results show that in a homogeneous field, the...On the basis of the wave energy balance equation, the response model of mean directions of locally wind-generated waves in slowly turning wind fields has been derived. The results show that in a homogeneous field, the time scale of the response is not only related to the rate of wave growth, but also to the directional energy distribution and the angle between the wind direction and the mean wave direction. Furthermore, the law of change in the mean wave direction has been derived. The numerical computations show that the response of wave directions to slowly turning wind directions can be treated as the superposition of the responses of wave directions to a series of sudden small-angle changes of wind directions and the turning rate of the mean wave direction depends on the turning rate and the total turning angles of the wind direction. The response of wave directions is in agreement with the response for a sudden change of wind directions if the change in wind directions is very fast. Based on the normalized rates of wave growth under local winds presented by Wen et al. (1989), a quantitative estimate of the time scale of the response shows that the relationships between the dimensionless time scale and both the dimensionless total wave energy and the dimensionless peak frequency agree fairly well with the observations in comparison with other models.展开更多

The results showed that 80 g pretilachlor + bensulfuron-methyl( 36% pretilachlor + 4% bensulfuron-methyl) diluted with 50 kg water could be sprayed or 200 g Yangguo( 23. 9% butachlor + 1. 1% bensulfuron-methyl) mixed with 15 kg sandy soil could be broadcasted per 667 m2 on the sowing day or the second day under moist condition of soil,which could effectively control weeds in dry direct seeding fields of single cropping middle-late rice.展开更多

Results indicate that DCEF decreases the corrosion of PCB-Cu;Cl-ions directionally migrate from the negative pole to the positive pole, and enrich on the surface of the positive pole, which causes serious localized corrosion; dendrites grow on the surface of the negative pole, and the rate and scale of dendrite growth become faster and greater with the increase of external voltage and exposure time, respectively.展开更多

The experimental resul...The combined effects of direct current pulsed magnetic field (DC-PMF) and inoculation on pure aluminum were investigated, the grain refinement behavior of DC-PMF and inoculation was discussed. The experimental results indicate that the solidification micro structure of pure aluminum can be greatly refined under DC-PMF. Refinement of pure aluminum is attributed to electromagnetic undercooling and forced convection caused by DC-PMF. With single DC-PMF, the grain size in the equiaxed zone is uneven. However, under DC-PMF, by adding 0.05% (mass fraction) Al5Ti-B, the grain size of the sample is smaller, and the size distribution is more uniform than that of single DC-PMF. Furthermore, under the combination of DC-PMF and inoculation, with the increase of output current, the grain size is further reduced. When the output current increases to 100 A, the average grain size can decrease to 113 μn.展开更多

Methods Using side-by-side compartment diffusion cells method and Ag-Ag/AgCl electrodes, the transport of caffeine through human cadaver skin by electroporation (exponentially decaying pulse, pulse voltage = 350 V, pulse frequency = 4 pulses· min^-1, capacity = 22 μF, pulse length = 7 ms, 25 pulses) with different electric field directions was carried out and compared with passive diffusion and iontophoresis (0.25 mA·cm^ - 2, lasted for 4 h). Results (i) The cumulative quantity and flux of caffeine through human skin were increased significantly by eleetroporation or iontophoresis. (ii) The transport of caffeine by positive iontophoresis ( with electric field from donor to receptor compartment) was significantly greater than that by negative iontophoresis (with electric field from receptor to donor compartment). (iii) The transport of caffeine by positive eleetroporation (with electric field from donor to receptor compartment) was similar to that by negative eleetroporation (with electric field from receptor to donor compartment). (iv) The enhancing effect of positive iontophoresis on the transdermal delivery of caffeine was significantly greater than that of electroporation (positive or negative). Conclusion Electric field direction significantly influences the enhancing effect of iontophoresis on the transdermal delivery of caffeine, but does not influence the enhancing effect of eleetroporation.展开更多

Experiments were performed to investigate the bubble deformation in direct current (DC) electric field with bubbles attached to the orifice. The air bubbles were slowly generated in the transformer oil pool at different orifices, so that the effect of flow on bubble shape was eliminated. The results showed that the bubbles were elongated and the departure volume decreased when the electric field was intensified. The major and minor axes, aspect ratio and departure volume increased with increasing the orifice diameter. Both the electric field and orifice size have great influence on bubble behavior. The bubble deformation was also simulated to compare with the experimental results. The numerical and experimental data qualitatively agree with each other.展开更多

An approximate analytical solution of horizontal-longitudinal correlation coefficient is derived based on the ray method. Combining the characteristic of Lloyd's mirror interference pattern, the variability of acoustic field and its effect on horizontal-longitudinal spatial correlation are discussed. The theoretical pre- diction agrees well with the numerical results. Experimental results confirm the validity of analytical solution. Finally, the applicability of the analytical solution is summarized. The conclusion is beneficial for the design of bottom-moored array and the estimation of integral time for moving source localization.展开更多

Imbibition experiments with electric fields that are different in direction and strength were conducted, showing that application of a positive electric field enhances the imbibition velocity and increases the imbibition recovery ratio, while application of a negative electric field reduces the imbibition velocity and decreases the imbibition recovery ratio. The imbibition recovery ratio with a positive electric field increases with the strength of the electric field, and the imbibition recovery ratio with a negative electric field is lower than that without an electric field.展开更多

Parameters is clearer than that by traditional method of analysis. The indication of sedimentary events can show its high resolution. The study on the Late Quaternary sedimentary events in this area shows that this area underwent four big events of sudden change in the Holocene epoch based on the sudden change of underflow direction and the position relationship between ash beds and erosion sediment layers. The sudden change of underflow direction is a believable evidence for judgement and study of sudden event within this area. The direction changes of its geomagnetic field show three morphotypes i. e. relatively stable type and non-stable type of oscillatory amplitude of magnetic inclination (Inc) which existed during the relatively stable period of amplitude of magnetic declination (Dnc). Anothertype is characterized by big amplitude of both inclination and declination.The space-time series of the three type mentioned above is a new way for forming a high-resolution stratigraphical timetable.展开更多

Nevertheless, their measurement is not easy on account of heterogeneity in property and difficulty of sampling. This study attempted to evaluate the shear strength of remolded colluvium by means of a simple direct shear test in the field. A portable direct shear tester was designed to overcome the inconvenience and expensiveness of the conventional large-scale in-situ direct shear test. It can be easily assembled and applied for the silnplc field direct shear test. For calibration, the results of the portable direct shear tester were compared with the results of the laboratory direct shear tester for four different types of soil samples, i.e. standard sand, slate debris, arenaceous shale debris and mixture of gravel and sand. Correlation formulas were established based on the calibration, enabling the portable direct shear tester to measure and estimate the shear strength of remoldcd colluvium in field. This study primarily focuses on the colluvium in Central Taiwan, including the lateritic Dadu Terrace and the arcnaceous shale of Taiping-Wufcng mounts. The portable direct shear tester was applied to sites selected in these areas, and the results were furthcr analyzed and discussed.展开更多

Based on the Boswell antenna which is symmetric and insensitive to the magnetic field direction, it seems such a phenomenon in theory appears impossible. However, according to the diagnostic of the helicon waves by magnetic probe, it is found that the direction of magnetic field significantly affects the propagation characteristic of helicon waves, i.e., the interchange of the helicon waves at the upper and the lower half of tube was caused by reversing the direction of magnetic field. It is suggested that the variation of helicon wave against the direction of magnetic field causes the reversed radial glow distribution. The appearance of the traveling wave does not only improve the discharge strength, but also determines the transition of the discharge mode.展开更多
Flexoelectricity is a symmetry independent electromechanical cou-pling phenomenon that outperforms piezoelectricity at micro and nanoscales due to its size-dependent behavior arising from gradi-ent terms in its consti...Flexoelectricity is a symmetry independent electromechanical cou-pling phenomenon that outperforms piezoelectricity at micro and nanoscales due to its size-dependent behavior arising from gradi-ent terms in its constitutive relations.However,due to this gradient term flexoelectricity,to exhibit itself,requires specially designed geometry or material composition of the dielectric material.First of its kind,the present study put forward a novel strategy of achieving electric field gradient and thereby converse flexoelectri-city,independent of geometry and material composition of the material.The spatial variation of the electric field is established inside the dielectric material,Ba_(0.67)Sr_(0.33)TiO_(3)(BST),by manipulating electrical boundary conditions.Three unique patterns of electrode placement are suggested to achieve this spatial variation.This varying direction of electric field gives rise to electric field gradient,the prerequisite of converse flexoelectricity.A multi-physics cou-pling based theoretical framework is established to solve the flexo-electric actuation by employing isogeometric analysis(IGA).Electromechanically coupled equations of flexoelectricity are solved to obtain the electric field distribution and the resulting displace-ments thereby.The maximum displacements of 0.2 nm and 2.36 nm are obtained with patterns I and II,respectively,while pattern III can yield up to 85 nm of maximum displacement.展开更多
As an effective means to improve charge carrier separation efficiency and directional transport,the gradient doping of foreign elements to build multi-homojunction structures inside catalysts has received wide attenti...As an effective means to improve charge carrier separation efficiency and directional transport,the gradient doping of foreign elements to build multi-homojunction structures inside catalysts has received wide attentions.Herein,we reported a simple and robust method to construct multi-homojunctions in black TiO_(2) nanotubes by the gradient doping of Ni species through the diffusion of deposited Ni element on the top of black TiO2 nanotubes driven by a high temperature annealing process.The gradient Ni distribution created parts of different Fermi energy levels and energy band structures within the same black TiO_(2) nanotube,which subsequently formed two series of multi-homojunctions within it.This special multi-homojunction structure largely enhanced the charge carrier separation and transportation,while the low concentration of defect states near the surface layer further inhibited carrier recombination and facilitated the surface reaction.Thus,the B-TNT-2Ni sample with the optimized Ni doping concentration exhibited an enhanced hydrogen evolution rate of~1.84 mmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1)under visible light irradiation without the assistance of noble-metal cocatalysts,~four times higher than that of the pristine black TiO_(2)nanotube array.With the capability to create multi-homojunction structures,this approach could be readily applied to various dopant systems and catalyst materials for a broad range of technical applications.展开更多

Assume that the reconstruction surface is holography surface, according to the equivalent sources located at the spherical surface, there exists a relationship between the measured sound pressure and the calculated value based on equivalent source method. Then, the coherent sources are separated. Nmnerical simulation an- alyzes the separation results when the interference sources are pulsating ball source and simply supported steel sheet with forced oscillation, respectively. The separation method is validated by experiment with two loudspeakers. The results show that the proposed method has high accuracy to the two kinds of interference sources and high tolerate deviation.展开更多

This paper presents a novel triple-redundant voice coil motor (TRVCM) used ...A direct drive actuator (DDA) with direct drive valves (DDVs) as the control device is an ideal solution for a flight actuation system. This paper presents a novel triple-redundant voice coil motor (TRVCM) used for redundant DDVs. The TRVCM features electrical/mechanical hybrid triple-redundancy by securing three stators along with three moving coils in the same frame. A permanent magnet (PM) Halbach array is employed in each redundant VCM to simplify the system structure. A back-to-back design between neighborly redundancies is adopted to decouple the magnetic flux linkage. The particle swarm optimization (PSO) method is implemented to optimize design parameters based on the analytical magnetic circuit model. The optimization objective function is defined as the acceleration capacity of the motor to achieve high dynamic performance. The optimal geometric parameters are verified with 3D magnetic field finite element analysis (FEA). A research prototype has been developed for experimental purpose. The experimental results of magnetic field density and force output show that the proposed TRVCM has great potential of applications in DDA systems.展开更多
We present a simple yet effective method for constructing 3D self-supporting surfaces with planar quadrilateral(PQ)elements.Starting with a triangular discretization of a self-supporting surface,we firstcompute the pr...We present a simple yet effective method for constructing 3D self-supporting surfaces with planar quadrilateral(PQ)elements.Starting with a triangular discretization of a self-supporting surface,we firstcompute the principal curvatures and directions of each triangular face using a new discrete differential geometryapproach,yielding more accurate results than existing methods.Then,we smooth the principal direction field to reduce the number of singularities.Next,we partition all faces into two groups in terms of principalcurvature difference.For each face with small curvature difference,we compute a stretch matrix that turns the principal directions into a pair of conjugate directions.For the remaining triangular faces,we simply keep their smoothed principal directions.Finally,applying a mixed-integer programming solver to the mixed principal and conjugate direction field,we obtain a planar quadrilateral mesh.Experimental results show that our method is computationally efficient and can yield high-quality PQ meshes that well approximate the geometry of the input surfaces and maintain their self-supporting properties.展开更多
Adjusting the adsorption energy of adsorbates on catalyst can directly regulate the catalytic performance and reaction pathways of heterogeneous catalysis.Herein,we report a novel strategy,introducing polarization-ind...Adjusting the adsorption energy of adsorbates on catalyst can directly regulate the catalytic performance and reaction pathways of heterogeneous catalysis.Herein,we report a novel strategy,introducing polarization-induced electric field(PIEF)with different directions,to manipulate the adsorption energy of intermediates and reaction pathway of formic acid electrooxidation on Pd.Tourmaline nanoparticles are applied as the PIEF provider,of which the direction is successfully controlled via aligning the dipoles in tourmaline in a strong external electric field.Experimental and theoretical results systematically reveal that positive PIEF leads to an electron-deficient state of Pd,reduced adsorption energy of COad,enhanced adsorption energy of*HCOOH and*OH,and promoted formate pathway of formic acid electrooxidation.Pd/TNP+/FTO,with the aid of positive PIEF,shows three-fold enhancement in the formic acid electrooxidation(4.74 mA·cm^(−2))with high durability and anti-poisoning ability compared with pristine Pd.This study leads a new route to design formic acid electrocatalysts and provides an understanding on how to control the adsorption energy of adsorbates on electrocatalysts by an internal electric field.展开更多

文摘The combined effects of direct current pulsed magnetic field (DC-PMF) and inoculation on pure aluminum were investigated, the grain refinement behavior of DC-PMF and inoculation was discussed. The experimental results indicate that the solidification micro structure of pure aluminum can be greatly refined under DC-PMF. Refinement of pure aluminum is attributed to electromagnetic undercooling and forced convection caused by DC-PMF. With single DC-PMF, the grain size in the equiaxed zone is uneven. However, under DC-PMF, by adding 0.05% (mass fraction) Al5Ti-B, the grain size of the sample is smaller, and the size distribution is more uniform than that of single DC-PMF. Furthermore, under the combination of DC-PMF and inoculation, with the increase of output current, the grain size is further reduced. When the output current increases to 100 A, the average grain size can decrease to 113 μn.
文摘Aim To study the influence of electric field direction on the in vitro enhanced transdermal delivery of caffeine by eleetroporation. Methods Using side-by-side compartment diffusion cells method and Ag-Ag/AgCl electrodes, the transport of caffeine through human cadaver skin by electroporation (exponentially decaying pulse, pulse voltage = 350 V, pulse frequency = 4 pulses· min^-1, capacity = 22 μF, pulse length = 7 ms, 25 pulses) with different electric field directions was carried out and compared with passive diffusion and iontophoresis (0.25 mA·cm^ - 2, lasted for 4 h). Results (i) The cumulative quantity and flux of caffeine through human skin were increased significantly by eleetroporation or iontophoresis. (ii) The transport of caffeine by positive iontophoresis ( with electric field from donor to receptor compartment) was significantly greater than that by negative iontophoresis (with electric field from receptor to donor compartment). (iii) The transport of caffeine by positive eleetroporation (with electric field from donor to receptor compartment) was similar to that by negative eleetroporation (with electric field from receptor to donor compartment). (iv) The enhancing effect of positive iontophoresis on the transdermal delivery of caffeine was significantly greater than that of electroporation (positive or negative). Conclusion Electric field direction significantly influences the enhancing effect of iontophoresis on the transdermal delivery of caffeine, but does not influence the enhancing effect of eleetroporation.

文摘The investigation on bubble behavior in electric field helps to analyze the mechanism of electric enhancement of boiling heat transfer. Experiments were performed to investigate the bubble deformation in direct current (DC) electric field with bubbles attached to the orifice. The air bubbles were slowly generated in the transformer oil pool at different orifices, so that the effect of flow on bubble shape was eliminated. The results showed that the bubbles were elongated and the departure volume decreased when the electric field was intensified. The major and minor axes, aspect ratio and departure volume increased with increasing the orifice diameter. Both the electric field and orifice size have great influence on bubble behavior. The bubble deformation was also simulated to compare with the experimental results. The numerical and experimental data qualitatively agree with each other.

文摘The transformation of the magnetization direction and the magnetic fi eld component is one of the important methods in magnetic data processing and transformation,which can be conducted in both wavenumber and spatial domains.The transformation method in the wavenumber domain has simpler processing expression and higher processing effi ciency than in the spatial domain;however,they are unstable at low latitude.In this paper,the conclusion that the sum is 0 of two vertical magnetic fi eld components(magnetization inclinations are also perpendicular)in 2D is used for the 3D transformation of the magnetization direction and the magnetic field component.In addition,the transformation method at low latitudes based on vertical relationship(VMT)is proposed,which is an iterative algorithm that converts the transformation of the magnetization direction and the magnetic field component at the low latitude into the high latitude.This method restrains the instability of transformation of constant and variable magnetization direction and magnetic fi eld components in low latitudes.The accuracy,stability,and practicality are verifi ed from synthetic models and real data.

文摘The horizontal-longitudinal correlation of acoustic field for the receiver near the bottom is analyzed by using nu- merical modeling. An approximate analytical solution of horizontal-longitudinal correlation coefficient is derived based on the ray method. Combining the characteristic of Lloyd's mirror interference pattern, the variability of acoustic field and its effect on horizontal-longitudinal spatial correlation are discussed. The theoretical pre- diction agrees well with the numerical results. Experimental results confirm the validity of analytical solution. Finally, the applicability of the analytical solution is summarized. The conclusion is beneficial for the design of bottom-moored array and the estimation of integral time for moving source localization.

文摘Based on Darcy's Law and the Helmholta-Smoluchowski equation, an imbibition velocity formula for the water phase with an electric field was deduced, showing that the imbibition velocity with an electric field is to various extents not only related to the rock permeability and characteristic length, the fluid viscosity, the oil-water interface tension and the gravity of the imbibing brine, but also to the fluid dielectric permittivity, zeta potential, applied electric field direction, and strength. Imbibition experiments with electric fields that are different in direction and strength were conducted, showing that application of a positive electric field enhances the imbibition velocity and increases the imbibition recovery ratio, while application of a negative electric field reduces the imbibition velocity and decreases the imbibition recovery ratio. The imbibition recovery ratio with a positive electric field increases with the strength of the electric field, and the imbibition recovery ratio with a negative electric field is lower than that without an electric field.
文摘The analysis on the magnetic fabric of profile of the sedimentary core taken in five stations in the small spreading ridge area in Mariana Trough shows that the effect of indicating its depositional fabric, sedimentary rhythm.sedimentary events, sedimentary interfaces and sediment composition as well as sedimentary dynamic environment by magnetic. Parameters is clearer than that by traditional method of analysis. The indication of sedimentary events can show its high resolution. The study on the Late Quaternary sedimentary events in this area shows that this area underwent four big events of sudden change in the Holocene epoch based on the sudden change of underflow direction and the position relationship between ash beds and erosion sediment layers. The sudden change of underflow direction is a believable evidence for judgement and study of sudden event within this area. The direction changes of its geomagnetic field show three morphotypes i. e. relatively stable type and non-stable type of oscillatory amplitude of magnetic inclination (Inc) which existed during the relatively stable period of amplitude of magnetic declination (Dnc). Anothertype is characterized by big amplitude of both inclination and declination.The space-time series of the three type mentioned above is a new way for forming a high-resolution stratigraphical timetable.

文摘The mechanical properties of colluvium strongly govern the stability of colluvial slopes, and they arc essential for the related analysis and design. Nevertheless, their measurement is not easy on account of heterogeneity in property and difficulty of sampling. This study attempted to evaluate the shear strength of remolded colluvium by means of a simple direct shear test in the field. A portable direct shear tester was designed to overcome the inconvenience and expensiveness of the conventional large-scale in-situ direct shear test. It can be easily assembled and applied for the silnplc field direct shear test. For calibration, the results of the portable direct shear tester were compared with the results of the laboratory direct shear tester for four different types of soil samples, i.e. standard sand, slate debris, arenaceous shale debris and mixture of gravel and sand. Correlation formulas were established based on the calibration, enabling the portable direct shear tester to measure and estimate the shear strength of remoldcd colluvium in field. This study primarily focuses on the colluvium in Central Taiwan, including the lateritic Dadu Terrace and the arcnaceous shale of Taiping-Wufcng mounts. The portable direct shear tester was applied to sites selected in these areas, and the results were furthcr analyzed and discussed.

文摘In this work, the reversal of radial glow distribution induced by reversed magnetic field is reported. Based on the Boswell antenna which is symmetric and insensitive to the magnetic field direction, it seems such a phenomenon in theory appears impossible. However, according to the diagnostic of the helicon waves by magnetic probe, it is found that the direction of magnetic field significantly affects the propagation characteristic of helicon waves, i.e., the interchange of the helicon waves at the upper and the lower half of tube was caused by reversing the direction of magnetic field. It is suggested that the variation of helicon wave against the direction of magnetic field causes the reversed radial glow distribution. The appearance of the traveling wave does not only improve the discharge strength, but also determines the transition of the discharge mode.
文摘Flexoelectricity is a symmetry independent electromechanical cou-pling phenomenon that outperforms piezoelectricity at micro and nanoscales due to its size-dependent behavior arising from gradi-ent terms in its constitutive relations.However,due to this gradient term flexoelectricity,to exhibit itself,requires specially designed geometry or material composition of the dielectric material.First of its kind,the present study put forward a novel strategy of achieving electric field gradient and thereby converse flexoelectri-city,independent of geometry and material composition of the material.The spatial variation of the electric field is established inside the dielectric material,Ba_(0.67)Sr_(0.33)TiO_(3)(BST),by manipulating electrical boundary conditions.Three unique patterns of electrode placement are suggested to achieve this spatial variation.This varying direction of electric field gives rise to electric field gradient,the prerequisite of converse flexoelectricity.A multi-physics cou-pling based theoretical framework is established to solve the flexo-electric actuation by employing isogeometric analysis(IGA).Electromechanically coupled equations of flexoelectricity are solved to obtain the electric field distribution and the resulting displace-ments thereby.The maximum displacements of 0.2 nm and 2.36 nm are obtained with patterns I and II,respectively,while pattern III can yield up to 85 nm of maximum displacement.

文摘As an effective means to improve charge carrier separation efficiency and directional transport,the gradient doping of foreign elements to build multi-homojunction structures inside catalysts has received wide attentions.Herein,we reported a simple and robust method to construct multi-homojunctions in black TiO_(2) nanotubes by the gradient doping of Ni species through the diffusion of deposited Ni element on the top of black TiO2 nanotubes driven by a high temperature annealing process.The gradient Ni distribution created parts of different Fermi energy levels and energy band structures within the same black TiO_(2) nanotube,which subsequently formed two series of multi-homojunctions within it.This special multi-homojunction structure largely enhanced the charge carrier separation and transportation,while the low concentration of defect states near the surface layer further inhibited carrier recombination and facilitated the surface reaction.Thus,the B-TNT-2Ni sample with the optimized Ni doping concentration exhibited an enhanced hydrogen evolution rate of~1.84 mmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1)under visible light irradiation without the assistance of noble-metal cocatalysts,~four times higher than that of the pristine black TiO_(2)nanotube array.With the capability to create multi-homojunction structures,this approach could be readily applied to various dopant systems and catalyst materials for a broad range of technical applications.

文摘In order to simplify the process which aims at separating the coherent sources located at different sides of holography surface, a direct sound field separation method which only depends on the data of holography surface is proposed. Assume that the reconstruction surface is holography surface, according to the equivalent sources located at the spherical surface, there exists a relationship between the measured sound pressure and the calculated value based on equivalent source method. Then, the coherent sources are separated. Nmnerical simulation an- alyzes the separation results when the interference sources are pulsating ball source and simply supported steel sheet with forced oscillation, respectively. The separation method is validated by experiment with two loudspeakers. The results show that the proposed method has high accuracy to the two kinds of interference sources and high tolerate deviation.

文摘A direct drive actuator (DDA) with direct drive valves (DDVs) as the control device is an ideal solution for a flight actuation system. This paper presents a novel triple-redundant voice coil motor (TRVCM) used for redundant DDVs. The TRVCM features electrical/mechanical hybrid triple-redundancy by securing three stators along with three moving coils in the same frame. A permanent magnet (PM) Halbach array is employed in each redundant VCM to simplify the system structure. A back-to-back design between neighborly redundancies is adopted to decouple the magnetic flux linkage. The particle swarm optimization (PSO) method is implemented to optimize design parameters based on the analytical magnetic circuit model. The optimization objective function is defined as the acceleration capacity of the motor to achieve high dynamic performance. The optimal geometric parameters are verified with 3D magnetic field finite element analysis (FEA). A research prototype has been developed for experimental purpose. The experimental results of magnetic field density and force output show that the proposed TRVCM has great potential of applications in DDA systems.

文摘We present a simple yet effective method for constructing 3D self-supporting surfaces with planar quadrilateral(PQ)elements.Starting with a triangular discretization of a self-supporting surface,we firstcompute the principal curvatures and directions of each triangular face using a new discrete differential geometryapproach,yielding more accurate results than existing methods.Then,we smooth the principal direction field to reduce the number of singularities.Next,we partition all faces into two groups in terms of principalcurvature difference.For each face with small curvature difference,we compute a stretch matrix that turns the principal directions into a pair of conjugate directions.For the remaining triangular faces,we simply keep their smoothed principal directions.Finally,applying a mixed-integer programming solver to the mixed principal and conjugate direction field,we obtain a planar quadrilateral mesh.Experimental results show that our method is computationally efficient and can yield high-quality PQ meshes that well approximate the geometry of the input surfaces and maintain their self-supporting properties.

文摘Adjusting the adsorption energy of adsorbates on catalyst can directly regulate the catalytic performance and reaction pathways of heterogeneous catalysis.Herein,we report a novel strategy,introducing polarization-induced electric field(PIEF)with different directions,to manipulate the adsorption energy of intermediates and reaction pathway of formic acid electrooxidation on Pd.Tourmaline nanoparticles are applied as the PIEF provider,of which the direction is successfully controlled via aligning the dipoles in tourmaline in a strong external electric field.Experimental and theoretical results systematically reveal that positive PIEF leads to an electron-deficient state of Pd,reduced adsorption energy of COad,enhanced adsorption energy of*HCOOH and*OH,and promoted formate pathway of formic acid electrooxidation.Pd/TNP+/FTO,with the aid of positive PIEF,shows three-fold enhancement in the formic acid electrooxidation(4.74 mA·cm^(−2))with high durability and anti-poisoning ability compared with pristine Pd.This study leads a new route to design formic acid electrocatalysts and provides an understanding on how to control the adsorption energy of adsorbates on electrocatalysts by an internal electric field.
