The stochastic Lyapunov-Krasoviskii functional method is adopted to design a filter such that the filtering error system is stochastic finite-time stable (SFTS) and preserves a prescribed performance level according to the pre-defined event-triggered criteria. Based on stochastic differential equations theory, some sufficient conditions for the existence of H∞ filter are obtained for the suggested system by employing linear matrix inequality technique. Finally, the desired H∞ filter gain matrices can be expressed in an explicit form.展开更多

In this paper, we primarily compare single-ring and multi-ring M-symbol amplitude and phase-shift keying modulations. We analyze their asymptotic key rates against collective attacks and consider the security key rates under finite-size effects. Leveraging the characteristics of discrete modulation, we improve the quantum secret sharing scheme. Non-dealer participants only require simple phase shifters to complete quantum secret sharing. We also provide the general design of the MR-DM-CVQSS protocol. We conduct a comprehensive analysis of the improved protocol's performance, confirming that the enhancement through multi-ring M-PSK allows for longer-distance quantum key distribution. Additionally, it reduces the deployment complexity of the system, thereby increasing the practical value.展开更多

These networks can be viewed as a collection of nodes and edges, where users and their interactions are represented as nodes and the connections between them as edges. Understanding the factors that contribute to the formation of these edges is important for studying network structure and processes. This knowledge can be applied to various areas such as identifying communities, recommending friends, and targeting online advertisements. Several factors, including node popularity and friends-of-friends relationships, influence edge formation and network growth. This research focuses on the temporal activity of nodes and its impact on edge formation. Specifically, the study examines how the minimum age of friends-of-friends edges and the average age of all edges connected to potential target nodes influence the formation of network edges. Discrete choice analysis is used to analyse the combined effect of these temporal factors and other well-known attributes like node degree (i.e., the number of connections a node has) and network distance between nodes. The findings reveal that temporal properties have a similar impact as network proximity in predicting the creation of links. By incorporating temporal features into the models, the accuracy of link prediction can be further improved.展开更多

Benefiting from the huge spatial information that traditional acoustic elements cannot match, acoustic holograms pursue the realization of high-resolution complex acoustic fields and gradually tend to high-frequency ultrasound applications. However, conventional continuous phase holograms are limited by three-dimensional(3D) printing size, and the presence of unavoidable small printing errors makes it difficult to achieve acoustic field reconstruction at high frequency accuracy. Here, we present an optimized discrete multi-step phase hologram. It can ensure the reconstruction quality of image with high robustness, and properly lower the requirement for the 3D printing accuracy. Meanwhile, the concept of reconstruction similarity is proposed to refine a measure of acoustic field quality. In addition, the realized complex acoustic field at 20 MHz promotes the application of acoustic holograms at high frequencies and provides a new way to generate high-fidelity acoustic fields.展开更多

文摘Synaptic crosstalk is a prevalent phenomenon among neuronal synapses, playing a crucial role in the transmission of neural signals. Therefore, considering synaptic crosstalk behavior and investigating the dynamical behavior of discrete neural networks are highly necessary. In this paper,we propose a heterogeneous discrete neural network(HDNN)consisting of a three-dimensional KTz discrete neuron and a Chialvo discrete neuron. These two neurons are coupled mutually by two discrete memristors and the synaptic crosstalk is considered. The impact of crosstalk strength on the firing behavior of the HDNN is explored through bifurcation diagrams and Lyapunov exponents. It is observed that the HDNN exhibits different coexisting attractors under varying crosstalk strengths.Furthermore, the influence of different crosstalk strengths on the synchronized firing of the HDNN is investigated, revealing a gradual attainment of phase synchronization between the two discrete neurons as the crosstalk strength decreases.

文摘Research on discrete memristor-based neural networks has received much attention. However, current research mainly focuses on memristor–based discrete homogeneous neuron networks, while memristor-coupled discrete heterogeneous neuron networks are rarely reported. In this study,a new four-stable discrete locally active memristor is proposed and its nonvolatile and locally active properties are verified by its power-off plot and DC V–I diagram.Based on two-dimensional(2D)discrete Izhikevich neuron and 2D discrete Chialvo neuron,a heterogeneous discrete neuron network is constructed by using the proposed discrete memristor as a coupling synapse connecting the two heterogeneous neurons.Considering the coupling strength as the control parameter, chaotic firing, periodic firing, and hyperchaotic firing patterns are revealed. In particular, multiple coexisting firing patterns are observed, which are induced by different initial values of the memristor.Phase synchronization between the two heterogeneous neurons is discussed and it is found that they can achieve perfect synchronous at large coupling strength.Furthermore, the effect of Gaussian white noise on synchronization behaviors is also explored. We demonstrate that the presence of noise not only leads to the transition of firing patterns, but also achieves the phase synchronization between two heterogeneous neurons under low coupling strength.

文摘In this study,a common-node DEM-SPH coupling model based on the shared node method is proposed, and a fluid–structure coupling method using the common-node discrete element method-smoothed particle hydrodynamics(DS-SPH)method is developed using LS-DYNA software. The DEM and SPH are established on the same node to create common-node DEM-SPH particles, allowing for fluid–structure interactions.Numerical simulations of various scenarios, including water entry of a rigid sphere,dam-break propagation over wet beds, impact on an ice plate floating on water and ice accumulation on offshore structures, are conducted. The interaction between DS particles and SPH fluid and the crack generation mechanism and expansion characteristics of the ice plate under the interaction of structure and fluid are also studied. The results are compared with available data to verify the proposed coupling method.Notably, the simulation results demonstrated that controlling the cutoff pressure of internal SPH particles could effectively control particle splashing during ice crushing failure.

文摘In order to avoid the complexity of Gaussian modulation and the problem that the traditional point-to-point communication DM-CVQKD protocol cannot meet the demand for multi-user key sharing at the same time, we propose a multi-ring discrete modulation continuous variable quantum key sharing scheme(MR-DM-CVQSS). Additionally, it reduces the deployment complexity of the system, thereby increasing the practical value.

文摘The present study addresses the problem of fault estimation for a specific class of nonlinear time-varying complex networks, utilizing an unknown-input-observer approach within the framework of dynamic event-triggered mechanism(DETM).In order to optimize communication resource utilization, the DETM is employed to determine whether the current measurement data should be transmitted to the estimator or not.To guarantee a satisfactory estimation performance for the fault signal,an unknown-input-observer-based estimator is constructed to decouple the estimation error dynamics from the influence of fault signals. The aim of this paper is to find the suitable estimator parameters under the effects of DETM such that both the state estimates and fault estimates are confined within two sets of closed ellipsoid domains. The techniques of recursive matrix inequality are applied to derive sufficient conditions for the existence of the desired estimator, ensuring that the specified performance requirements are met under certain conditions. Then, the estimator gains are derived by minimizing the ellipsoid domain in the sense of trace and a recursive estimator parameter design algorithm is then provided. Finally,a numerical example is conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the designed estimator.
文摘Aiming to analyze the damage mechanism of UTAO from the perspective of meso-mechanical mechanism using discrete element method(DEM),we conducted study of diseases problems of UTAO in several provinces in China, and found that aggregate spalling was one of the main disease types of UTAO.A discrete element model of UTAO pavement structure was constructed to explore the meso-mechanical mechanism of UTAO damage under the influence of layer thickness, gradation, and bonding modulus. The experimental results show that,as the thickness of UTAO decreasing, the maximum value and the mean value of the contact force between all aggregate particles gradually increase, which leads to aggregates more prone to spalling.Compared with OGFC-5 UTAO,AC-5 UTAO presents smaller maximum and average values of all contact forces, and the loading pressure in AC-5 UTAO is fully diffused in the lateral direction. In addition, the increment of pavement modulus strengthens the overall force of aggregate particles inside UTAO,resulting in aggregate particles peeling off more easily. The increase of bonding modulus changes the position where the maximum value of the tangential force appears, whereas has no effect on the normal force.
文摘Social networks like Facebook, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn provide an interaction and communication environment for users to generate and share content, allowing for the observation of social behaviours in the digital world. By incorporating temporal features into the models, the accuracy of link prediction can be further improved.

文摘Acoustic holograms can recover wavefront stored acoustic field information and produce high-fidelity complex acoustic fields. In addition, the realized complex acoustic field at 20 MHz promotes the application of acoustic holograms at high frequencies and provides a new way to generate high-fidelity acoustic fields.

文摘The mechanical properties of interfacial transition zones(ITZs)have traditionally been simplified by reducing the stiffness of cement in previous simulation methods.A novel approach based on the discrete element method(DEM)has been developed for modeling concrete. This new approach efficiently simulates the meso-structure of ITZs,accurately capturing their heterogeneous properties.Validation against established uniaxial compression experiments confirms the precision of thismodel. The proposedmodel canmodel the process of damage evolution containing cracks initiation, propagation and penetration.Under increasing loads, cracks within ITZs progressively accumulate, culminating in macroscopic fractures that traverse themortarmatrix, forming the complex, serpentine path of cracks. This study reveals four distinct displacement patterns:tensile compliant, tensile opposite, mixed tensile-shear,and shear opposite patterns, each indicative of different stages in concrete’s damage evolution. The widening angle of these patterns delineates the progression of cracks, with the tensile compliant pattern signaling the initial crack appearance and the shear opposite pattern indicating the concrete model’s ultimate failure.

文摘Discrete dislocation dynamics(DDD)simulations reveal the evolution of dislocation structures and the interaction of dislocations. This study investigated the compression behavior of single-crystal copper micropillars using fewshot machine learning with data provided by DDD simulations. Two types of features are considered:external features comprising specimen size and loading orientation and internal features involving dislocation source length,Schmid factor, the orientation of the most easily activated dislocations and their distance from the free boundary. The yielding stress and stress-strain curves of single-crystal copper micropillar are predicted well by incorporating both external and internal features of the sample as separate or combined inputs. It is found that the machine learning accuracy predictions for single-crystal micropillar compression can be improved by incorporating easily activated dislocation features with external features. However, the effect of easily activated dislocation on yielding is less important compared to the effects of specimen size and Schmid factor which includes information of orientation but becomes more evident in small-sized micropillars.Overall, incorporating internal features, especially the information of most easily activated dislocations, improves predictive capabilities across diverse sample sizes and orientations.
