The boundary value problem of deflections of vertical with ellipsoid boundary is studied in the paper. Based on spherical harmonic series, the ellipsoidal corrections for the boundary value problem are derived so that it can be well solved. In addition, an imitation arithmetic is given for examining the accuracies of solutions for the boundary value problem as well as its spherical approximation problem, and the computational results illustrate that the boundary value problem has higher accuracy than its spherical approximation problem if deflection of the vertical are measured on geoid. 展开更多

As one of the clinical manifestations in patients with hemiplegia after stroke,most of the patients with foot drop suffer from gait disturbance and balance dysfunction, generally accompanied by strephenopodia. There are relatively few researches on the balance ability of patients with foot drop worldwide,while the balance ability will directly affect the walking ability for recovery,so the research is significant in the rehabilitation of foot drop. In the experiment,the Cordura material ankle-foot orthosis (AFO),one of the world leading technology products,is chosen as the experimental equipment because of its well-known durability and strength. The experiment studied the balance performance of patients with foot drop before and after wearing Cordura material AFO. The Berg scale was evaluated to discuss the effect of the orthosis on balance ability in patients with foot drop. It has been found that the wearing equipment BBS scores were significantly improved. There were significant differences comparing with the control group( P&lt;0.05).But in the course of treatment the Berg balance scale (BBS) scores reduced individually,mainly in terms of leg flexibility. 展开更多

The beam pointing is the most crucial issue for beam combining to achieve high energy laser output. In order to meet the turbulence situation, a beam pointing method that cooperates with the stochastic parallel gradient descent(SPGD) algorithm is proposed. The power-in-the-bucket(PIB) is chosen as the merit function, and its radius changes gradually during the correction process. The linear radius and the exponential radius are simulated. The results show that the exponential radius has great promise for beam pointing. 展开更多
