The greenness (SPAD) of uneven-aged leaves of dominant species in the Castanopsis carlessi forest at different altitude gradients in Lingshishan National Forest Park, Fujian Province, China were measured by using portable chlorophyll meter SPAD-502. In addition, the correlation between SPAD value and the concentration of chlorophyll and foliar nitrogen was also investigated. Significant variations in SPAD values were found between the uneven-aged leaves of different dominant species and different altitude gradients. Regression analysis showed that SPAD value was significantly correlated with the concentration of chlorophyll and the content of foliar nitrogen, indicating that SPAD value could be indicators for foliar chlorophyll and nitrogen. It is suggested that SPAD meter is a useful tool for forest assessments in decision-making and operational nutrient management programs. 展开更多

It analyses the Castanopsis carlesii, Camellia oleifera and Symplocos launnapopulations' status and role in the Castanopsis carlesii community basing on the study on thedominant population size structure, survival curve and dynamic. It reveals the Castanopsis carlesipopulation acts as a main role in the community which maintains the stabilization and renovation ofthe community. The populations of Camellia oleifera and Symplocos laurina act as a secondaryposition. The development and succession dynamics of dominant populations is also discussed. Themanagement method is preliminary drawn out which offers a theoretical basis for the evergreenbroad-leaved forest restoration and reconstruction in the lower hilly of the west edge of theSichuan basin. 展开更多

Advanced digestive tract malignant tumors, represented by advanced colorectal cancer, advanced gastric cancer and advanced esophageal cancer, have insidious onsets and high mortality.Western medicine based on targeted therapy greatly can improves the benefit and efficacy for patients through population stratification, but its population is limited.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has a long history in treatment of tumors, which is an important part of comprehensive treatment of tumors.Clinical observation has shown that different patients could get different efficacy from TCM treatment.Based on real world registration studies, patients with advanced colorectal cancer, advanced gastric cancer or advanced esophageal cancer who had received TCM treatment were observed and followed, and a TCM dominant population that achieved significant efficacy was screened out to carry out multivariate regression analysis, further explore key factors that affect survival in advanced digestive tract malignant tumors, and establish a prediction model of TCM dominant population. It will provide reference for the follow-up TCM treatment, and provide reference for development of individualized treatment plans, making the TCM treatment for advanced digestive tract malignant tumors more targeted, and helping to improve the benefit rate in TCM. 展开更多

The species diversity at the regeneration stage, inflenced by different water levels, is important for community composition in the later growing season.Regeneration diversity of Carex lasiocarpa community under different water levels was studied at two stages, recruitment and adult, in the Sanjiang Plain, Heilongjiang Province, China. The results showed that, at the two growing stages, important value of C.lasiocarpa population and species richness of the community decreased with the increasing water level, while the Simpson and Shannon-Wiener diversity indexes and Pielou evenness index increased.Under different water levels, community diversities were higher at the recruitment stage, while population important values of C.lasiocarpa were higher at the adult stage.Indexes in vegetation evaluation must be chosen prudentially for successful restoration and effective management of wetlands, and especially for wetland restoration, the optimal time should be selected according to the restoration objectives and costs. 展开更多
