However, the change speed of evaluated objects was rarely considered by the existing evaluation methods. An evaluation matrix is proposed to remedy this deficiency. Firstly, the change speed state (CSS) of the evaluated objects is analyzed based on double inspiriting control lines (DICLs), and a matrix of the CSS is constructed. Then, 72 elements in the matrix are analyzed, and formulas describing each CSS are given. The efficiency of the proposed evaluation matrix is proved when the CSS merges with the change speed trend (CST) in the dynamic comprehensive evaluation. Finally, a computing example shows that the proposed evaluation matrix is feasible in the dynamic comprehensive evaluation with the speed feature.展开更多
In recent years,several failures of double circuit transmission line on the same tower due to lightning were happened in Beijing power grid.Although it can be reclosed successful,the lightning strike caused a grave th...In recent years,several failures of double circuit transmission line on the same tower due to lightning were happened in Beijing power grid.Although it can be reclosed successful,the lightning strike caused a grave threat to the power grid security.The cause of the accident and the accident process were studied for the sake of further understanding of the impact of lightning on power grid.As an example,110 kV double circuit transmission line(Xilong-line) was analyzed.At first,the system topology was given.Through the analysis on relay protection actions and the fault recorder data,over voltage on the insulator strings was calculated.Based on the analysis and the calculation,accident cause and the process were presented respectively.Secondly,it comes to the conclusion that the lightning failure was caused by counterattack.The wave of the lightning over voltage would spread to the not grounded neutral point of the transformers,and make the neutral protective gap breakdown,then cause freewheeling with the frequency of 50 Hz.As results of the relay protection,the double circuit transmission line all tripped out.Finally,the causes of the accident were proposed that included terrain features,large corner towers,strong thunderstorm weather and poor grounded contact of the tower.展开更多
In order to establish the eukaryotic cell lines for inducible control of SARS-CoV nucleocapsid gene expression.The recombinant plasmid of pTRE-Tight-SARS-N was constructed by using the plasmid p8S as the PCR template ...In order to establish the eukaryotic cell lines for inducible control of SARS-CoV nucleocapsid gene expression.The recombinant plasmid of pTRE-Tight-SARS-N was constructed by using the plasmid p8S as the PCR template which contains a cDNA clone covering the nucleocapsid gene of SARS-CoV HKU-39449. Restriction enzymes digestion and sequence analysis indicated the recombinant plasmid of pTRE-Tight-SARS-N contained the nucleocapsid gene with the optimized nucleotide sequence which will improve the translation efficiency. Positive cell clones were selected by cotransfecting pTRE-Tight-SARS-N with the linear marker pPUR to BHK-21 Tet-on cells in the presence of puromycin. A set of double-stable eukaryotic cell lines (BHK-Tet-SARS-N) with inducible control of the SARS-CoV neucleocapsid gene expression was identified by using SDS-PAGE and Western-blot analysis. The expression of SARS-CoV nucleocapsid protein was tightly regulated by the varying concentration of doxcycline in the constructed double-stable cell line. The constructed BHK-Tet-SARS-N cell strains will facilitate the rescue of SARS-CoV in vitro and the further reverse genetic research of SARS-CoV.展开更多

A single line Ar+ laser is used to pump the sodium dimers from t...Using the optical-optical double resonance (OODR) technique, we have studied the collisional broadening of some 21△g←B1πu lines in Na2 molecules. A single line Ar+ laser is used to pump the sodium dimers from thermally populated ground state X^1∑^+g level to the intermediate B1πu state. Then, a single-mode diode laser is used to probe the doubly excited 21△g state. The broadening rate coefficient is determined from the slope of the total linewidth versus Ne density curve. We obtain the average value kbr = (1.1 ± 0.5)×10^-8 cm^3 8^-1. The collisional excitation transfer between rotational levels of the B1πu state (i.e.,B1πu(2,83/84) ←B1Ⅱu (2,82)) is also investigated. The rates can be determined from the relative intensities of the main peak and satellite lines, combined with a rate equation model. The rates of 1.25 × 106 and 1.07 × 106 s^-1 are obtained, respectively.展开更多

It was concluded that the double cortical line was a radiologic sign of disuse osteoporosis after spinal cord injury. It was noticed that the acetabular double cortical line in incomplete paralysis was not so prominent as that in complete paralysis (P<0.05), suggesting that the degree of acetabular osteoporosis may be related to the severity of spinal cord injuries. The literature gap in microfinance paradox of double bottom line(financial performance vs.outreach)has always been an interesting area of research.This paper proposes a theoretical model most suitable for Islamic Micr...The literature gap in microfinance paradox of double bottom line(financial performance vs.outreach)has always been an interesting area of research.This paper proposes a theoretical model most suitable for Islamic Microfinance Institutions(MFIs)which enables Islamic MFIs’to operate together with the existing financial models compliant with Islamic Shariah Law.This model is based on a distributed verification/decision-making process that might be realized(but not necessary)through block-chain.Among the available distributed verification techniques,blockchain technology is an attractive emerging computing paradigm due to its decentralized,immutable,shared,and secure data structure characteristics.This model proposes three significant propositions.First,sharing information through blockchain will allow a transparent network in MFI operations,which will raise confidence for donors resulting in a causal effect of a relatively lower profit rate to be charged by the MFIs.Second,the consensus mechanism will enable risk-sharing,a character of Islamic finance;thus,the MFIs will operate without any collateral for low-risk firms.Third,the double bottom line of MFIs’long-lasting paradox would be solved.As for practical implication of this proposed model,the causal impact of lower cost investment by the lenders would increase social welfare because of no collateral and no initial wealth requirement.The proposed model proposes a credit rationing approach where profit can be negative.No collateral will be used when calculating the creditworthiness of a borrower.展开更多
The diode-triggered silicon-controlled rectifier(DTSCR) is widely used for electrostatic discharge(ESD) protection in advanced CMOS process owing to its advantages, such as design simplification, adjustable trigge...The diode-triggered silicon-controlled rectifier(DTSCR) is widely used for electrostatic discharge(ESD) protection in advanced CMOS process owing to its advantages, such as design simplification, adjustable trigger/holding voltage, low parasitic capacitance. However, the multiple-triggering effect in the typical DTSCR device may cause undesirable larger overall trigger voltage, which results in a reduced ESD safe margin. In previous research, the major cause is attributed to the higher current level required in the intrinsic SCR. The related discussions indicate that it seems to result from the current division rule between the intrinsic and parasitic SCR formed in the triggering process. In this letter, inserting a large space into the trigger diodes is proposed to get a deeper insight into this issue. The triggering current is observed to be regularly reduced along with the increased space, which confirms that the current division is determined by the parasitic resistance distributed between the intrinsic and parasitic SCR paths. The theoretical analysis is well confirmed by device simulation and transmission line pulse(TLP) test results. The reduced overall trigger voltage is achieved in the modified DTSCR structures due to the comprehensive result of the parasitic resistance vs triggering current, which indicates a minimized multipletriggering effect.展开更多
This paper describes the fabrication of a waveguide and the analysis of its polarization characteristics by applying light-emitting diode(LED) pumping lights to its surface.By using double tubed coaxial line(DTCL) mic...This paper describes the fabrication of a waveguide and the analysis of its polarization characteristics by applying light-emitting diode(LED) pumping lights to its surface.By using double tubed coaxial line(DTCL) microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition(MPCVD) equipment,an a-Si:H/SiN multilayer waveguide was fabricated whose thickness could be controlled at nanometer order.The main structural material of the waveguide sample consisted of a combination of layers of amorphous silicon hydrogen and silicon nitrate.Once the sample was ready,another major objective of the experiment was to analyze the polarization characteristics of the fabricated waveguide.The idea of the experiment was to analyze how the waveguide reacts when three types of LED(blue,yellow,and red) are radiated onto its surface.The results showed that the fabrication of the a-Si:H/SiN sample is successful.Most effective transmission results,which accord with the polarization characteristics analysis,were obtained.展开更多
