It consists of two layers of rubber, where metal wires are laid in the inner layer and the outer layer has no inlaid metal wires. Stress, strain and temperature field of DLRF were calculated with ANSYS finite element analysis (FEA) software, FL of DLRF RW was also computed with fracture mechanics fatigue theory. The results of computation indicate that the heat generated in RW's rubber flange (RF) can be reduced by the use of DLRF, and the FL of RW can be increased without affecting the mechanical intensity of RW.展开更多

Firstly, it is studied how to obtain the force-indentation response with the finite element method when the indentation is less than 100 nanometers, in which current nanoindentation experiments have no reliable accuracy. The whole hardness-displacement curve and fitted equation are obtained. However, fewer studies were conducted on this structure, which made engin...In order to ensure the safety of coal mine shaft construction, a double-layer steel plate concrete composite shaft wall structure was proposed. However, fewer studies were conducted on this structure, which made engineers too confused to fully recognize its feasibility of this structure. Hence, based on the previous experimental research on the Taohutu mine construction project in Ordos in Inner Mongolia, this research paper aims to provide a widely deep numerical analysis by the usage of the finite element software, in fact, to establish the corresponding numerical analysis model and make a comparison with the experimental data to get the rationality of the verified model. The influence of the composite characteristics of the steel plate and concrete on the ultimate bearing capacity and stress field of the shaft wall structure is studied here through the method of multi-factor analysis. Also, the optimal design scheme of the double-layer steel plate and concrete composite shaft wall structure is proposed in this research paper.展开更多
As the share of wind power in power systems continues to increase, the limited predictability of wind power generation brings serious potential risks to power system reliability. Previous research works have generally...As the share of wind power in power systems continues to increase, the limited predictability of wind power generation brings serious potential risks to power system reliability. Previous research works have generally described the uncertainty of wind power forecast errors(WPFEs) based on normal distribution or other standard distribution models, which only characterize the aleatory uncertainty. In fact, epistemic uncertainty in WPFE modeling due to limited data and knowledge should also be addressed. This paper proposes a multi-source information fusion method(MSIFM) to quantify WPFEs when considering both aleatory and epistemic uncertainties. An extended focal element(EFE) selection method based on the adequacy of historical data is developed to consider the characteristics of WPFEs. Two supplementary expert information sources are modeled to improve the accuracy in the case of insufficient historical data. An operation reliability evaluation technique is also developed considering the proposed WPFE model. Finally,a double-layer Monte Carlo simulation method is introduced to generate a time-series output of the wind power. The effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed MSIFM are demonstrated through simulation results.展开更多
