Fe-N films were prepared on Si substrate by dual ion beam sputtering (DIBS). It is found that the crystal structure of the films varies from α-Fe, to ε-Fe2-3N, ε-Fe2-3N +γ-Fe4N, and finally γ'-Fe4N with the increase in substrate temperature (TS). The magnetic properties of the films were investigated by a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The structure of the films is insensitive to the ratios of N2/Ar in main ion source(MIS), and is mainly influenced by the substrate temperature (Ts). 展开更多

The excitation wavelength-dependent and-independent emissions are two crucial fluorescent properties of carbon dots(CDs).However,CDs reported till date exhibit only one of these properties,which limits their practical applications.Herein,dual-property carbon dots(DCDs)with both the excitation wavelength-dependent and-independent emissions were synthesized via a facile onestep solvothermal method using 4-(2-pyridylazo)-resorcinol as the carbon precursor.The multi-functional applications of the resulting DCDs were also evaluated.The asprepared DCDs exhibited not only excellent monodispersity,high photostability,and storage stability,but also low toxicity,good biocompatibility,and cellular bioimaging capability.In addition,the DCDs exhibited excitation-dependent emission photoluminescence under low excitation wavelengths.The DCDs exhibited good Fe3+detection by quenching the blue emission fluorescence and showed a relatively low Fe3+detection limit of 0.067 lmol·L-1 based on three times signal-to-noise criteria(R2=0.99).Furthermore,the DCDs showed excitation-independent emission at low excitation wavelengths and exhibited red emission at about 598 nm to avoid damage to the body.These results demonstrate the excellent bioimaging properties of the DCDs.Owing to their dual PL properties,the as-prepared DCDs exhibited multi-functional applications:Fe3+detection and A549 cell bioimaging.These results will be helpful in developing novel CDs for applications in various fields. 展开更多

In June 2013, the U.S. National Security Agency proposed two families of lightweight block ciphers, called SIMON and SPECK respectively. These ciphers are designed to perform excellently on both hardware and software platforms. In this paper, we mainly present zero-correlation linear cryptanalysis on various versions of SIMON. Firstly, by using miss- in-the-middle approach, we construct zero-correlation linear distinguishers of SIMON, and zero-correlation linear attacks are presented based oi1 careful analysis of key recovery phase. Secondly, multidimensional zero-correlation linear attacks are used to reduce the data complexity. Our zero-correlation linear attacks perform better than impossible differential attacks proposed by Abed et al. in ePrint Report 2013/568. Finally, we also use the divide-and-conquer technique to improve the results of linear cryptanalysis proposed by Javad et al. in ePrint Report 2013/663. 展开更多

The microstructure and mechanical properties(strength, fatigue and formability) of dissimilar/similar weld joints between DP780 and DP980 steels were studied. The microstructure in fusion zone(FZ) was lath martensite(LM), and alloying elements in the FZ were uniformly distributed. The hardness in the FZ of dissimilar weld joint was similar to the average value(375 HV) of the two similar weld joints. The microstructural evolution in heat affected zone(HAZ) of dissimilar/similar weld joints was as follows:LM(coarse-grained HAZ) →finer LM(fine-grained HAZ) →M-A constituent and ferrite(intercritically HAZ) →tempered martensite(TM) and ferrite(sub-critical HAZ). Lower hardness in intercritically HAZ and sub-critical HAZ(softening zones) was observed compared to base metal(BM) in dissimilar/similar weld joints. The size of softening zone was 0.2-0.3 mm and reduction in hardness was ~7.6%-12.7% of BM in all the weld joints, which did not influence the tensile properties of weld joints such that fracture location was in BM. Formability of dissimilar weld joints was inferior compared to similar weld joints because of the softening zone, non-uniform microstructure and hardness on the two sides of FZ. The effect of microstructure on fatigue life was not influenced due to the presence of welding concavity. 展开更多
