Robust Fingerprint Construction Based on Multiple Path Loss Model (M-PLM) for Indoor Localization

A robust radio map is essential in implementing a fingerprint-based indoor positioning system(IPS).However,the offline site survey to manually construct the radio map is time-consuming and labour-intensive.Various interpolation techniques have been proposed to infer the virtual fingerprints to reduce the time and effort required for offline site surveys.This paper presents a novel fingerprint interpolator using a multi-path loss model(MPLM)to create the virtual fingerprints from the collected sample data based on different signal paths from different access points(APs).Based on the historical signal data,the poor signal paths are identified using their standard deviations.The proposed method reduces the positioning errors by smoothing out the wireless signal fluctuations and stabilizing the signals for those poor signal paths.By consideringmultipath signal propagations from different APs,the inherent noise from these signal paths can be alleviated.Firstly,locations of the signal data with standard deviations higher than the threshold are identified.The new fingerprints are then generated at these locations based on the proposed M-PLM interpolation function to replace the old fingerprints.The proposed technique interpolates virtual fingerprints based on good signal paths with more stable signals to improve the positioning performance.Experimental results show that the proposed scheme enhances the positioning accuracy by up to 44%compared to the conventional interpolation techniques such as the Inverse DistanceWeighting,Kriging,and single Path LossModel.As a result,we can overcome the site survey problems for IPS by building an accurate radio map with more reliable signals to improve indoor positioning performance. 展开更多

Terahertz(THz)communication has been envisioned as a key enabling technology for sixthgeneration(6G).In this paper,we present an extensive THz channel measurement campaign for 6G wireless communications from 220 GHz to 330 GHz.Furthermore,the path loss is analyzed and modeled by using two single-frequency path loss models and a multiplefrequencies path loss model.It is found that at most frequency points,the measured path loss is larger than that in the free space.But at around 310 GHz,the propagation attenuation is relatively weaker compared to that in the free space.Also,the frequency dependence of path loss is observed and the frequency exponent of the multiple-frequencies path loss model is 2.1.Moreover,the cellular performance of THz communication systems is investigated by using the obtained path loss model.Simulation results indicate that the current inter-site distance(ISD)for the indoor scenario is too small for THz communications.Furthermore,the tremendous capacity gain can be obtained by using THz bands compared to using microwave bands and millimeter wave bands.Generally,this work can give an insight into the design and optimization of THz communication systems for 6G. 展开更多

Wideband IMT-Advanced mobile communication systems tend to operate in the high frequency bands due to a relatively large capacity available. Thus, Measurement and modelling methods of radio propaga- tion eharaeteristics are proposed for the field test of Chinese 4th generation (4G) trial system. The mea- surement system is established for 3.5GHz based on the sophistieated measurement instruments and the virtual instrument teehnology. The characteristic parameters of radio propagation sueh as path loss (PL) exponent and shadow fading standard deviation are extracted from measurement data, which result in the path loss model finally. The comparisons with other existing international models results validate our mea- surement in terms of path loss model. Based on the analysis of the existing extension model assumed for the microwave frequency at 3.5GHz, we find that the Stanford University Interim (SUI) model fits very well with the measurement result in the hotspot scenario, while the COST 231 model is closer to the mea- surement result in the suburban scenario. This result provides a measurement-based channel referenee for the development of the future IMT-Advanced systems in China. 展开更多

When there are bigger obstacles in the indoor environment such as elevator, the radio waves basically can not penetrate it. The contribution of received signal strength by transmission and reflection will be greatly reduced, and most of the time, the radio waves will reach the user by bypass diffraction. Therefore, the traditional path loss model is no longer applicable, and the improved model should be proposed. In this paper, we firstly proposed an indoor radio propagation model based on dominant path in which the received signal strength has nothing to do with the direct distance between user and access point, but is related to the length of dominant path. Then on the basis of dominant path model, the NLOS influence is considered in order to further improve the accuracy of dominant path model. Experimental results demonstrated that the proposed dominant path model can improve the accuracy of traditional path loss model remarkably. 展开更多

蜂窝车联网侧行链路接口(PC5)采用终端到终端直接通信的形式,因其通信延迟低、传输容量大和传输可靠性高的特点而具备广阔的科研和工程前景。为了实测蜂窝车联网侧行链路信道特性,使用具有PC5接口的车载板卡在城市道路进行了通信测量工... 蜂窝车联网侧行链路接口(PC5)采用终端到终端直接通信的形式,因其通信延迟低、传输容量大和传输可靠性高的特点而具备广阔的科研和工程前景。为了实测蜂窝车联网侧行链路信道特性,使用具有PC5接口的车载板卡在城市道路进行了通信测量工作,并依据测量结果从信道特征对PC5接口信道进行了分析。分析了通信收包时延随距离和信噪比变化的特征,将实测参考信号接收功率值与自由空间和双射线两种路径损耗经验模型及对数距离和双斜率两种路径损耗拟合模型的预测值进行了对比,并引入了四种相关性分析算法,从数值偏移量、线性相关程度和几何形态相似度等角度分析了模型预测值与实测数据的关联性,最终验证了双斜率路径损耗模型最适合表征PC5接口通信信道在城市环境下的衰落特征,基于该模型测算得到的路径损耗指数和阴影衰落方差也进一步说明此模型能够更好地结合实验环境表征信道特性。 展开更多

无蜂窝大规模多输入多输出(MIMO)系统通过在覆盖区域内部署大量的接入点(AP),可以为用户提供均匀、可靠的服务。传统的无蜂窝大规模MIMO系统采用随机部署,未考虑AP周围的路径损耗、阴影衰落散射物以及环境遮挡对覆盖质量的影响。为了考... 无蜂窝大规模多输入多输出(MIMO)系统通过在覆盖区域内部署大量的接入点(AP),可以为用户提供均匀、可靠的服务。传统的无蜂窝大规模MIMO系统采用随机部署,未考虑AP周围的路径损耗、阴影衰落散射物以及环境遮挡对覆盖质量的影响。为了考虑实际环境下无蜂窝大规模MIMO能实现均匀、一致的覆盖,提出了基于无线传播环境的AP部署方案。首先,通过混合概率路径损耗模型对无线传播环境进行表征,其次构建了以最大化平均吞吐量为目标的AP部署优化问题,最后将问题转化为马尔可夫博弈过程,并且基于多智能体深度确定性策略梯度(MADDPG)算法得出最优的AP部署策略。仿真结果表明,相比于传统的随机部署和现有AP部署策略,所提方案可明显改善复杂环境下的非均匀覆盖问题,为用户提供良好一致的均匀覆盖。 展开更多

ZigBee室内定位技术近年来发展迅速,但使用固定路径损耗模型的传统算法环境适应能力较差,会引起较大定位误差,影响定位精度。本文提出一种基于ZigBee平台的对数路径损耗模型参数动态修正的室内定位算法。首先经过高斯滤波对所得RSSI值进行筛选优化,然后根据锚节点之间的距离以及RSSI值来动态修正对数路径损耗模型参数,包括路径损耗因子以及距待测节点处的信号强度值,从而得到当下环境中具体的对数路径损耗模型;再利用卡尔曼滤波对现有的定位参数进行二次修正,以更正上述算法中因时刻变动引起的环境变化导致的定位偏差。实验结果表明,该定位算法比基于ZigBee的固定路径损耗模型定位性能提升了46.8%,可以改善因环境变化产生的定位误差问题。 展开更多

[目的/意义]农事行为活动识别对设施蔬菜生产精准化调控有着重要意义,在一定程度上可以通过查看农事操作的时间、操作过程是否合理来减少因农事行为不当导致产量下降。为了解决农事行为识别方法中由于黄瓜叶片和设施遮挡导致识别准确率不高的问题,提出一种名为SlowFast-SMC-ECA (SlowFast-Spatio-Temporal Excitation、Channel Excitation、Motion Excitation-Efficient Channel Attention)的农事活动行为识别算法。[方法]该算法主要基于SlowFast模型,通过改进Fast Pathway和Slow Pathway中的网络结构来提高对于农事活动中手部动作特征和关键特征的提取能力。在Fast Pathway中,引入多路径激励残差网络的概念,通过在信道之间插入卷积操作来增强它们在时域上的相互关联性,从而更好地捕捉快速运动信息的细微时间变化。在Slow Pathway中,将传统的Residual Block替换为ECA-Res结构,以提高对通道信息的捕获能力。这两项改进有效地加强了通道之间的联系,提升了特征之间的语义信息传递,进而显著提升了农事行为识别的准确率。此外,为了解决数据集中类别不均衡的问题,设计了平衡损失函数(Smoothing Loss),通过引入正则化系数,平衡损失函数可以有效地处理数据集中的类别不均衡情况,提高模型在各个类别上的表现。[结果和讨论]改进的SlowFast-SMC-ECA模型在农事行为识别中表现出良好的性能,各类行为的平均识别精度达到80.47%,相较于原始的SlowFast模型有约3.5%的提升。[结论]本研究在农事行为识别中展现出良好的性能。这对农业生产的智能化管理和决策具有重要意义。 展开更多

海洋通信是6G空天地海一体化网络的关键场景。海洋信道特性分析与建模对海上通信系统的技术开发和部署规划具有重要意义。关注海岸边的岸-船通信场景,介绍了在5.80、5.45、3.90、3.00 GHz频段开展的无线信道测量活动,提取并建模了岸边... 海洋通信是6G空天地海一体化网络的关键场景。海洋信道特性分析与建模对海上通信系统的技术开发和部署规划具有重要意义。关注海岸边的岸-船通信场景,介绍了在5.80、5.45、3.90、3.00 GHz频段开展的无线信道测量活动,提取并建模了岸边发射机与运动船舶之间无线链路的关键信道参数。研究发现存在于近岸区域的散射体以及沿海岸线分布的建筑群会对信道造成差异化影响。基于实测数据给出了时变抽头延迟线(Tapped Delay Line,TDL)架构参数化模型。针对多径分量丰富的近岸区采用5抽头模型,并通过设置随机时变抽头表征了场景中偶然存在的高时延多径分量。仿真结果与实测数据概率密度分布的科尔莫戈洛夫-斯米尔诺夫检验(Kolmogorov-Smirnov,K-S)统计量为0.11,KL散度为0.65,研究结果可为近岸场景岸-船通信技术的设计和部署提供参考。 展开更多

一种基于GWO-BP神经网络的RSSI测距算法

近些年来,基于接收信号强度指示(RSSI)测距的研究受到了广泛的关注,特别是在物联网和室内定位领域。精准的距离估计是基于测距方法实现高精度定位的基础,但由于存在测量噪声和多路径效应的影响,RSSI信号具有很强的波动性,从而导致RSSI... 近些年来,基于接收信号强度指示(RSSI)测距的研究受到了广泛的关注,特别是在物联网和室内定位领域。精准的距离估计是基于测距方法实现高精度定位的基础,但由于存在测量噪声和多路径效应的影响,RSSI信号具有很强的波动性,从而导致RSSI与空间真实物理距离之间的映射关系具有不均匀的特点。为了增强RSSI与真实物理距离之间的映射关系,提高RSSI测距的精度,本文基于反向传播(BP)神经网络和灰狼优化(GWO)算法,提出了一种基于GWO-BP神经网络的RSSI测距算法。GWO算法相比于粒子群优化算法(PSO)、遗传算法(GA)、差分演化(DE)、进化编程(EP)、进化策略(ES)具有更快收敛速度和更强稳定性的特点。此外,本文通过开发的手机软件采集实测数据,通过在两个不同的环境内进行试验。结果表明,基于路径损耗模型(PLM)测距的均方根误差(RMSE)分别为2.218、2.059 m,传统BP神经网络测距算法的RMSE分别为1.541、1.551 m,基于GA算法优化BP神经网络测距算法的RMSE分别为1.269、1.201 m,本文提出的GWO-BP神经网络测距算法的RMSE分别为1.054、0.833 m;结果表明本文算法测距精度更高,稳健性更好。 展开更多

计及多方利益的“车-路-网”三层充电优化方法

随着电动汽车(EVs)保有量逐年增加,充电需求日益增大,短时间内大规模EVs集中充电不仅会给电网稳定运行带来风险和负担,还会造成路网交通拥堵。为了缓解上述问题,提出一种兼顾配电网、路网和车主三方利益的“车-路-网”三层充电优化方法... 随着电动汽车(EVs)保有量逐年增加,充电需求日益增大,短时间内大规模EVs集中充电不仅会给电网稳定运行带来风险和负担,还会造成路网交通拥堵。为了缓解上述问题,提出一种兼顾配电网、路网和车主三方利益的“车-路-网”三层充电优化方法。通过三层优化模型的相互传递与配合,对配电网的等效负荷方差和有功网损、路网的通畅情况、车主的充电总成本进行协调优化。以杭州市某区域路网为例,结合IEEE-33节点配电网系统进行仿真。通过三层充电优化,系统等效负荷方差降低72.82%,有功网损降低83.41%,车主充电总成本减少8.89%。仿真结果表明,所提优化方法能够合理安排EVs充电,可以在平抑负荷波动和降低有功网损的同时,缓解路网拥堵和降低车主充电总成本。 展开更多

损耗是评价无线通信网络传输特性的指标,通常用来评价无线通信网络的可用性,由于现行方法在无线网络路径损耗中应用效果不佳,不仅阴影标准差比较高,而且MAPE值也比较高,针对现行方法存在的不足和缺陷,提出基于大数据技术的无线通信路径... 损耗是评价无线通信网络传输特性的指标,通常用来评价无线通信网络的可用性,由于现行方法在无线网络路径损耗中应用效果不佳,不仅阴影标准差比较高,而且MAPE值也比较高,针对现行方法存在的不足和缺陷,提出基于大数据技术的无线通信路径损耗估测方法。根据Hata-Okumura模型建立无线通信路径模型,描述路径损耗机理,收集无线通信大数据,对无线通信环境大数据编码及清洗处理,利用大数据技术对无线通信路径损耗数据灰度关联分析,估测路径损耗,实现基于大数据技术的无线通信路径损耗估测。经实验证明,文章方法估测路径损耗阴影标准差未超过1dB,MAPE未超过2%,可以实现对无线通信路径损耗精准估测。 展开更多

In 5G era,it is expected to achieve wireless network coverage including offshore areas.Modeling of marine wireless channels is the basis of constructing a marine communication system.In this paper,a communication scene between an unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)and a boat is simulated to study the marine wireless channel.Firstly,an improved spatial partitioning ray tracing algorithm is proposed to track the propagation path of electromagnetic waves at sea surface.Secondly,a mobile channel is simulated and modeled based on the track results.Finally,a loss measurement is carried out in the coastal waters based on the simple wireless channel loss measuring platform,and a path loss propagation model is built.Then we compare the actual measurement data with the simulation results and find that the two are have good consistency,which further verifies the reliability of the simulation. 展开更多

In underground mines, visible light communication(VLC) system is a promising method to realize effective communication,which supports communication and illumination at the same time. Therefore, adequate research of underlying physical propagation phenomenon should be carried out to realize VLC system in underground mines. To design VLC system and evaluate its performance, accurate and efficient channel models, including large-scale fading and scattering characteristics, are needed to be established. However,the characteristics of the underlying VLC channels about fading and scattering have not been sufficiently investigated yet. In this paper, a path loss channel model, based on the recursive model, is proposed precisely. Its path loss exponent is determined by three different trajectories, which is studied in the mining roadway and working face environment. Besides, the shadowing effect for VLC has been modelled by a Bimodal Gaussian distribution in underground mines. Considering the number of transmitters in line-of-sight(Lo S) as well as non-line-of-sight(NLo S) scenarios,our simulation illustrates the fact that, as the curve fitting technique is employed, the path loss displays a linear behavior in log-domain.The path loss expression is derived, it is related to the distance. Finally, root mean square(RMS) delay spread and Mie scattering in underground mines are analyzed. 展开更多

In recent years,high-speed railways(HSRs)have developed rapidly with a high transportation capacity and high comfort level.A tunnel is a complex high-speed rail terrain environment.It is very important to establish an accurate channel propagation model for a railway tunnel environment to improve the safety of HSR operation.In this paper,a method for finite-state Markov chain(FSMC)channel modeling with least squares fitting based on non-uniform interval division is proposed.First,a path loss model is obtained according to measured data.The communication distance between the transmitter and receiver in the tunnel is non-uniformly divided into several large non-overlapping intervals based on the path loss model.Then,the Lloyd-Max quantization method is used to determine the threshold of the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and the channel state quantization value and obtain the FSMC state transition probability matrix.Simulation experiments show that the proposed wireless channel model has a low mean square error(MSE)and can accurately predict the received signal power in a railway tunnel environment. 展开更多
