The greatest strength of L codes is that the number of rows(columns) in a disk array does not be restricted by the prime number, and more disks can be dynamically appended in a running storage system. L codes can tolerate at least two disk erasures and some sector loss simultaneously, and can tolerate multiple disk erasures(greater than or equal to three) under a certain condition. Because only XOR operations are needed in the process of encoding and decoding, L codes have very high computing efficiency which is roughly equivalent to X codes. Analysis shows that L codes are particularly suitable for large-scale storage systems.展开更多

These items are linguistic means that signal that certain information is taken for granted in the linguistic or non-linguistic context. One task for presupposition theory is to identify these triggers, explain what type of information they induce, and why they do so. A second task is to explain why and under what circumstances the information thus induced is preserved as an intuitive inference of the inducing sentence. The latter problem is the projection problem for presuppositions. Theories of presupposition can be divided into the following main classes: semantic, pragmatic, and dynamic theories. Semantic theories explain presupposition as a semantic relation between sentences. Pragmatic theories take the information a speaker takes for granted in making an assertion as their starting point. Dynamic theories locate sentence meaning in its context-change potential: presuppositional information should be part of input context as a precondition for contextual update. The two major variants are the satisfaction account and the anaphoric account. The former construes presuppositions as definedness conditions on input contexts. According to the anaphoric account presuppositional expressions are anaphors that should be bound to a contextually given antecedent.展开更多

Instead of modifying the wave field before migration, we modify the plane-wave encoding function and fill constant velocity to the area above rugged topography in the model so that P-LSRTM can be directly performed from rugged surface in the way same to shot domain reverse time migration. In order to improve efficiency and reduce I/O (input/output) cost, the dynamic en- coding strategy and hybrid encoding strategy are implemented. Numerical test on SEG rugged topography model show that P-LSRTM can suppress migration artifacts in the migration image, and compensate am- plitude in the middle-deep part efficiently. Without data correction, P-LSRTM can produce a satisfying image of near-surface if we could get an accurate near-surface velocity model. Moreover, the pre-stack P- LSRTM is more robust than conventional RTM in the presence of migration velocity errors.展开更多
