The Relationship Between Cross-Cultural Conflict Management Levels and Employee Organizational Performance in Cross-Border E-Commerce Corporations in China

This research focuses on the cross-cultural conflict management of cross-border e-commerce corporations in companies on employee organizational performance under conflict management such as power distance conflict,individualism,long-term orientation,indulgence and avoidance of uncertainty as the independent variables and employee organizational performance such as quality,efficiency,and profitability of organizational tasks as the dependent variable.With the advancement of China’s reform and opening up and the implementation of the“One Belt,One Road”strategy,the globalized economy has penetrated into various countries and regions.China trade exchanges with other countries have become more frequent,and have also set up branch factories and branches abroad.However,there are certain differences between the branch company and the domestic culture in the actual operation process.If the cross-border e-commerce corporations cannot handle these contradictions and differences well,the company may face difficulties such as cultural conflicts.For this reason,this paper makes a deep analysis of this,taking the cross-border e-commerce corporations in Guangxi as an example,and points out the problems existing in cross-cultural management in this region and putting forward personal opinions and solutions to related problems,and putting forward feasible solutions,enhances the understanding of involving conceptualizations of cross-cultural communication conflict and its management in the frame of cross-cultural conflicts management theory and provides references for the formulation of cultural conflict management measures for cross-border e-commerce corporations.So that enterprises can gain a firm foothold in the international market competition,enrich and enhance their soft power,and enhance their international status in the development of multinational regions.The result of this research will not only answer existing research questions,but also introduce new ideas and new questions for future research.

On the Differences of Sino-US Views on Family From Pushing Hands

Nowadays, multinational marriages are more and more widespread, especially between China and the West. However, a prevailing phenomenon is that due to the differences of China-West family values, it has caused irreconcilable conflicts of culture, which undoubtedly becomes the stumbling block of cross-cultural communication. Pushing Hands （1991） is a typical movie reflecting the cultural conflicts of Sino-US families, from which we can see all kinds of inadaptations in family life caused by cultural differences. Combined with Pushing Hands, this paper compares the differences of Sino-US views on families and analyzes the causes for these differences. Such an analysis will reinforce the English learners＇ understanding of cultural differences and improve their ability of cross-cultural communication.

On Difference of Non-language Culture Between China and America

This article expatiates on the functions and features of Sino-American non-verbal communication. It discusses the relationship between verbal and non-verbal communication, non-verbal communication and culture as well. Furthermore, it analyzes the differences between Sino-American non-verbal communication. The Retaining of Source Cultural Flavours and Features in Translation

One of the purposes of cross-cultural communication is to promote understanding between different cultures, which requires the translators to reflect nation-specific norms and flavours in translation. Pursing the identity in contents and neglecting the aesthetic connotations and cultural differences encoded in different forms will blot the creation of the author of the source text, and on the other hand, mix up the difference between cultures, and cause unnecessary cultural misunderstanding. Translation should give consideration to two things,one is that it should aim at intelligibility, the other is that it should retain the original style.

Short Form of Weinstein Noise Sensitivity Scale(NSS-SF): Reliability, Validity and Gender Invariance among Chinese Individuals

Objective Independent from noise exposure, noise sensitivity plays a pivotal role in people＇s noise annoyance perception and concomitant health deteriorations. The present study empirically investigated the psychometric properties of the Chinese version of the Weinstein Noise Sensitivity Scale-Short Form （CNSS-SF）, the widely used inventory measuring individual differences in noise perception.Methods In total, 373 Chinese participants （age = 21.41 ± 3.36） completed the online, anonymous questionnaire package. Examination of the CNSS-SF＇s reliability （internal consistency）, factorial validity through validation and cross-validation, nomological validity and measurement invariance across gender groups were undertaken.Results The Cronbach alpha coefficients and composite reliabilities indicated sufficient reliability of the CNSS-SF. Two confirmatory factor analyses （CFA）, in two randomly partitioned groups of participants, substantiated the factorial validity of the scale. The nomological validity of the scale was also corroborated by the significant positive association of its score with the trait anxiety score. Measurement invariance of the CNSS-SF was also found across genders via multi-group CFA.Conclusion Though not without limitations, findings from the present research provide promising evidence for the utility of the scale in measuring noise sensitivity among the Chinese population. The availability of the CNSS-SF can promote research related to environmental noise and health in China, as well as facilitate cross-cultural comparisons.

The Role of Cultural Compatibility in Effective Management The Application of Cultural Four-dimensional Model in Transnational Corporations

Cross-cultural management is often regarded as a discipline of international management focusing on cultural encounters between the organization and the nation-state, and providing tools to tackle cultural difl＇erences seen as sources of conflict, friction or misunderstanding. Based on Greet Hofstede＇ s Cultural Model, this paper attempts to shed some light on effective corporation management through cultural analysis of the difl＇erences between China and western countries. The paper puts more emphasis on the impact of cultural compatibility on effective corporation man- agement through the case study of China, Japan, Germany and America. The author argues that managers and employ- ees involved in companies with diverse cultural backgrounds should be integrated and developed into a specific local context through interlocking their cultural identifications and the organizational practices.

Eating disorders, body image, and dichotomous thinking among Japanese and Russian college women

This study explored cross-cultural differences between Japan and Russia in terms of women’s body images, proneness to eating disorders, and the effects of dichotomous thinking. Participants included 419 Japanese and 187 Russian college women who completed the Dichotomous Thinking Inventory (DTI), the 26-item version of the Eating Attitudes Test, and responses regarding nine figures representing female body shapes. The mean age of the participants was 19.8 years, with no significant age differences between the countries. The results showed that Japanese women have leaner ideal body images than Russian women, whereas there were no cross-cultural differences in the participants’ real body images. DTI scores among Russian participants were higher than DTI scores among Japanese participants, which indicated that Russian women think more dichotomously than Japanese. Structural equation modeling indicated a significantly negative effect of dichotomous thinking only on real body image in Russia;the ideal body image had greater effects on eating disorder in Russia than in Japan.

Comparison between the Chinese time view and the western view

The difference between the Chinese time view and the western time view originates from agricultural civilization＇s inertia and industrial civilization＇s feeling way. This time coordinate controls people＇s behavior, awareness of concepts, industrial relationship, interpersonal relationship and value orientation. Different cultures bred different time conceptions and time behaviors. This paper mainly talks about the aspects of their differences. When different time views are reflected in cross-cultural communication, conflicts and obstacles of interpersonal communication may arise. With the development of social economy and cultural communication, the time views of Chinese culture and western culture have impacts on each other and are gradually integrated with each other.

Study on the problems and Countermeasures of enterprise culture integration in M ＆ A in China

Since the nineteen nineties, Chinese economic grows rapidly. Chinese enterprises have become an important force in the world economic growth. At the same time enterprise growth has been accompanied by M ＆ A, the success ofM ＆ A can bring great leap and growth for the enterprise. As for Chinese enterprise, today is an important period of mergers and acquisitions, but the real success ofM ＆ A is less. Through the analysis of the causes for the failure ofM ＆ A enterprise, some research results suggest the following three reasons are the major. First is the ignoring differences in M ＆ A enterprises culture, second is the cultural conflict between no effective solution for mergers and acquisitions, and the third is not able to integrate the cultural reasonably.
