The Internet of Things (IoT) is a technological revolution that has changed everything we do and given us a new perspective on our daily lives, but despite the fact that numerous publications have focused on character...The Internet of Things (IoT) is a technological revolution that has changed everything we do and given us a new perspective on our daily lives, but despite the fact that numerous publications have focused on characterizing the many edges and technologies that make up an IoT system, the IoT ecosystem is still seen as too complex to be recognized as a stand-alone environment due to its significant diversity;hence, the objective of this research is to address such a complex environment in a way that highlights its components and distinguishes them both individually and in relation to their broader context. Therefore, the definition of IoT and its emergence were discussed and organized around the timeline of Internet development phases demonstrating that IoT has been a need that has accompanied the presence of the Internet since its early stages, and then its growth and impact were discussed and highlighted with estimates and numbers. On the technical side, each of the following groups, IoT components, protocols, and architectures, was defined, discussed, and grouped in such a way that their intergroup organization, as well as their placement and contribution to the overall ecosystem, was highlighted. This, in addition to the various examples mentioned throughout the discussion, will provide the reader with a better understanding of the Internet of Things and how deeply it has become entwined in our daily lives and routines as a result of its numerous applications.展开更多

Recently,Financial Technology(FinTech)has received more attention among financial sectors and researchers to derive effective solutions for any financial institution or firm.Financial crisis prediction(FCP)is an essen...Recently,Financial Technology(FinTech)has received more attention among financial sectors and researchers to derive effective solutions for any financial institution or firm.Financial crisis prediction(FCP)is an essential topic in business sector that finds it useful to identify the financial condition of a financial institution.At the same time,the development of the internet of things(IoT)has altered the mode of human interaction with the physical world.The IoT can be combined with the FCP model to examine the financial data from the users and perform decision making process.This paper presents a novel multi-objective squirrel search optimization algorithm with stacked autoencoder(MOSSA-SAE)model for FCP in IoT environment.The MOSSA-SAE model encompasses different subprocesses namely preprocessing,class imbalance handling,parameter tuning,and classification.Primarily,the MOSSA-SAE model allows the IoT devices such as smartphones,laptops,etc.,to collect the financial details of the users which are then transmitted to the cloud for further analysis.In addition,SMOTE technique is employed to handle class imbalance problems.The goal of MOSSA in SMOTE is to determine the oversampling rate and area of nearest neighbors of SMOTE.Besides,SAE model is utilized as a classification technique to determine the class label of the financial data.At the same time,the MOSSA is applied to appropriately select the‘weights’and‘bias’values of the SAE.An extensive experimental validation process is performed on the benchmark financial dataset and the results are examined under distinct aspects.The experimental values ensured the superior performance of the MOSSA-SAE model on the applied dataset.展开更多

After analyzing the data of eight representative provinces from 1996 to 2008, we f'md out that the effect of ICT investment on e- conomic growth is limited and the levels of telecom- munications infrastructure and education are key factors influencing the effect. A core element of the sustainable approach to global living quality improvement can now become the intensive and organized usage of underground space.There is a growing interest in underground building and growth worl...A core element of the sustainable approach to global living quality improvement can now become the intensive and organized usage of underground space.There is a growing interest in underground building and growth worldwide.The reduced consumption of electricity,effective preservation of green land,sustainable wastewater and sewage treatment,efficient reverse degradation of the urban environment,and reliable critical infrastructure management can improve the quality of life.At the same time,technological innovations such as artificial intelligence(AI),cloud computing(CC),the internet of things(IoT),and big data analytics(BDA)play a significant role in improved quality of life.Hence,this study aims to integrate the technological innovations in urban underground engineering to ensure a high quality of life.Thus,this study uses big data analytics to carry out the status quo of foundation treatment and proposes a conceptual framework named the BDA with IoT on urban underground engineering(BI0T-UUE).This framework connects hidden features with various high-level sensing sources and practical predictive model characterization to lower building costs,productive infrastructure management,preparedness for disasters,and modern community smart services.The IoT integration gives an optimum opportunity to work towards the functionality of‘‘digital doubles’’of secret infrastructure,both economical and scalable,with the increasing sophistication and tooling of the underworld.The simulation analysis ensures the highest efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the underground engineering with a value of 96.54%and 97.46%.展开更多
