Aesthetic education and ideological and political education undertake the educational responsibilities of educating people with beauty and cultivating people with morals,respectively.The innovation of aesthetic educat...Aesthetic education and ideological and political education undertake the educational responsibilities of educating people with beauty and cultivating people with morals,respectively.The innovation of aesthetic education and the reform of ideological and political education have common educational goals and target students.Integrating aesthetic education with ideological and political education can promote the overall healthy development of students,which has both historical and practical significance.In this paper,the importance and characteristics of integrating aesthetic education with ideological and political education in colleges and universities are analyzed from multiple dimensions,and four feasible ways of integrating aesthetic education with ideological and political education are proposed.The latter draws on extracurricular activities,emotional touch,a pleasant aesthetic atmosphere,and educational synergy to improve students’aesthetic literacy and cultivate correct ideological and political concepts among students.A survey of 1,047 students showed that the understanding and acceptance of ideological and political education were strengthened and improved after implementing these innovative integration ways.Taken together,the exploration and practice of these integration ways contribute to expanding the effect of ideological and political education in the new era and constitute important parts of the reform of college and university education in the new journey.展开更多
Virtue education in the United States has lost its clout while the corporatization of higher education may be at its peak. The focus of traditional education has shifted from ideas, wisdom, and the love of learning to...Virtue education in the United States has lost its clout while the corporatization of higher education may be at its peak. The focus of traditional education has shifted from ideas, wisdom, and the love of learning to having a corporate mindset on progress and skills-based knowledge. In many cases, the focus of attention is on remaining viable/sustainable in times of economic decline rather than learning itself, so the resources supporting institutions of higher education are directed into marketing and public relations practices instead of the infrastructure for thinking and learning. This essay draws together three coordinates to make a case for a return to virtue education in the United States. First, the current condition of higher education is shown to have dubiously strayed from a virtue model. Second, the re-emergence of philosophy as a preferred major and its growth in the academy suggest that people realize that something has to change in higher education as they revert back to a broad liberal arts emphasis. Third, a discussion of virtue education from the lens of Josef Pieper's virtue philosophy, grounded in the lSta Contemplativa, offers renewed possibility to reengaged higher education for a sustainable future. Together, I suggest that the tradition of higher education in the United States is no longer viable and return to a virtue education model is an alternative that might make higher education sustainable.展开更多

文摘Innovative integration is the development trend of education reform in recent years.Teachers can try to promote the high integration of aesthetic education and moral education from the establishment of music studios,and form a“three-in-one”education and education integration mechanism of classroom teaching,extracurricular activities,and campus culture construction,so as to inherit and innovate the outstanding Chinese traditional music culture and red music culture,and explore the necessity and feasibility of the complementary and integrated development between aesthetic education and moral education.Under the background that the country attaches great importance to inheriting and developing the excellent Chinese traditional culture,taking the integration of music education into college students’moral education as the starting point,exploring the effective ways of vocal music,instrumental music,opera,Chinese folk art,dance,rap and other artistic works to cultivate national builders and successors who have comprehensive development of moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic,and labor will be definitely to improve the humanistic quality of university and college students,which promotes the Chinese excellent traditional music culture and red music culture,trains college music talents,etc.,and promotes the integration and development of large,medium and small aesthetic education and moral education.

文摘Ecological aesthetic education is a fusion of aesthetic education,environmental education,and ecological aesthetics research.The product of this combination is an ecological paradigm of Chinese aesthetic education research.Based on a holistic ecological view,ecological aesthetic education elevates it as an aesthetic principle to achieve the value position of ecological aesthetics in people’s lives and finally realizes the poetic habitation of human beings on the earth through the eco-aesthetic practice.This paper firstly introduces the background of China’s curriculum-based political and virtuous awareness(CPVA)education and its relevance to ecological aesthetic education in business English teaching which necessitate the infiltration of eco-aesthetic education in business English teaching.Then,with the teaching practice of Integrated Business English course,this paper explores the three aspects of how to effectively infiltrate ecological aesthetic education in business English teaching.
