CeO2-MOx solid solutions could be formed with M cations doping into CeO2 lattice, while NiO and Co3O4 phases were detected on the surface of CeO2-NiO and CeO2-Co3O4 by Raman spectroscopy. The presence of M in CeO2 could obviously promote its catalytic activity for CH4 catalytic combustion and CO oxidation. Among the prepared samples, CeO2-CuO exhibited the best performance for CO oxidatio...展开更多

The model is imposed without large-scale vertical velocity. In the control experiment, the contribution from rainfall (cM) associated with net evaporation and hydrometeor loss/convergence is about 29% of that from the rainfall (Cm) associated with net condensation and hydrometeor gain/divergence and about 39% of that from the rainfall (CM) associated with net condensation and hydrometeor loss/convergence. The exclusion of ice clouds enhances rainfall contribution of CM, whereas it reduces rainfall contributions of Cm and cM. The removal of radiative effects of water clouds increases rainfall contribution of CM, barely changes rainfall contribution of Cm and reduces the rainfall contribution of cM in the presence of the radiative effects of ice clouds. Elimination of the radiative effects of water clouds reduces the rainfall contributions of CM and Cm, whereas it increases the rainfall contribution of cM in the absence of the radiative effects of ice clouds.展开更多

Coatings were deposited on BK7 substrates by electron beam evaporation and photoelectric maximum control method. An in situ residual gas analyzer (RGA) was used to monitor the residual gas composition in the vacuum chamber. The optical properties, microstructure, absorption and laser-induced damage threshold (LIDT) of the samples were characterized by Lambda 900 spectrophotometer, X-ray diffraction (XRD), surface thermal lensing (STL) technique and 1064-nm Qswitched pulsed laser at a pulse duration of 12 ns respectively. It was found that a cold trap is an effective equipment to suppress water vapor in the vacuum chamber during the pumping process, and the coatings deposited in the vacuum atmosphere with relatively low water vapor composition show higher refractive index and smaller grain size. Meanwhile, the higher LIDT value is corresponding to lower absorbance.展开更多

Differently from the acoustic impulses produced via thermal expansion, the polarity and the amplitude of acoustic impulse produced via liquid breakdown mechanism do not change with water temperature. This indirectly proves that the production of acoustic impulse is due to the expansion of the cavity itself which includes plasma. A semiempirical description of this phenomenon is given in this paper.展开更多
