The curved surface (CS) effect on nanosilicon plays a main role in the activation for emission and photonic manipulation. The CS effect breaks the symmetrical shape of nanosilicon on which some bonds can produce localized electron states in the band gap. The investigation in calculation and experiment demonstrates that the different curvatures can form the characteristic electron states for some special bonding on the nanosilicon surface, which are related to a series of peaks in photoluminecience (PL), such as LN, LNO, Lo1, and Lo2 lines in PL spectra due to Si-N, Si-NO, Si=O, and Si-O-Si bonds on curved surface, respectively. Si-Yb bond on curved surface of Si nanostructures can provide the localized states in the band gap deeply and manipulate the emission wavelength into the window of optical communication by the CS effect, which is marked as the Lyb line of electroluminescence (EL) emission. 展开更多

Finally, a simplified approximate function between the critical cutter ra- dius and the other factors is derived,and the designing method of avoiding interferenee is provided. The calculation results show that the bonding energy and electronic states of silicon quantum dots are different on various curved surfaces, for example, a Si-O-Si bridge bond on curved surface provides localized levels in bandgap and its bonding energy is shallower than that on the facet. The red-shifting ofthe photoluminescence spectrum on smaller silicon quantum dots can be explained by the curved surface effect. MRCI+Q study of the low-lying electronic states of CdF including spin-orbit coupling

Cd F molecule, which plays an important role in a great variety of research fields, has long been subject to numerous researchers. Due to the unstable nature and heavy atom Cd containing in the Cd F molecule, electronic states of the molecule have not been well studied. In this paper, high accurate ab initio calculations on the Cd F molecule have been performed at the multi-reference configuration interaction level including Davidson correction(MRCI + Q). Adiabatic potential energy curves(PECs) of the 14 low-lying Λ–S states correlating with the two lowest dissociation limits Cd(~1S_g) + F(~2P_u) and Cd(~3P_u) + F(~2P_u) have been constructed. For the bound Λ–S and ? states, the dominant electronic configurations and spectroscopic constants are obtained,and the calculated spectroscopic constants of bound states are consistent with previous experimental results. The dipole moments(DMs) of 2 Σ+ and 2Π are determined, and the spin–orbit(SO) matrix elements between each pair of X2Σ+, 22Σ+, 12Π, and 22Π are obtained. The results indicate that the sudden changes of DMs and SO matrix elements arise from the variation of the electronic configurations around the avoided crossing region. Moreover,the Franck–Condon factors(FCFs), the transition dipole moments(TDMs), and radiative lifetimes of low-lying states-the ground state X2Σ+are determined. Finally, the transitional properties of 22Π–X2Σ+and 22Σ+–X2Σ+are studied. Based on our computed spectroscopic information of Cd F, the feasibility and challenge for laser cooling of Cd F molecule are discussed. 展开更多

In this paper,we consider the effects of environmental perturbations such as the variations of temperature and climate on the growth of water hyacinth and fish species,as well as the economic and application values of these two species.We first present a triangular fuzzy water hyacinth-fish ecological model with Kuznets curve effect and linear harvesting.Then,we discuss the existence of the equilibria and their stability.It is then followed by analyzing the existence of bionomic equilibrium and determining the optimal harvesting policy via Pontryagin's Maximum Principle.Finally,numerical simulations are performed to validate the theoretical results.Our research indicates that fuzzy parameters may affect the optimal harvesting strategy. 展开更多

The hi-energy bands in the dispersion image are usually interpreted as the true dispersion phase velocities.However,the multiple dispersion modes of Rayleigh wave in layered media stack in space,producing the effective dispersion curve and the pseudo multimode dispersion curves in disper-sion image.The effective dispersion curve has the maximum energy with lower phase velocities than pseudo dispersion phase velocities,and thus is often misunderstood as the fundamental mode.Within the tolerable misfit,the effective dispersion curve can approach the true fundamental mode.Different from the true multimode dispersion curves,the pseudo multimode dispersion curves are related to the effective dispersion curve.A numerical model is adapted to simulate the true dispersion curves,effec-tive dispersion curve,and pseudo multimode dispersion curves.Their differences and mutual relations are demonstrated. 展开更多

A systematic investigation on the structural, magnetic and magnetocaloric properties of Pr_(0.6)Sr_(0.4-x)Ag_xMnO_3(x=0.05 and 0.1) manganites was reported. Rietveld refinements of the X-ray diffraction patterns confirmed that all samples were single phase and crystallized in the orthorhombic structure with Pnma space group. Magnetic measurements in a magnetic applied field of 0.01T revealed that the ferromagnetic-paramagnetic transition temperature T_C decreased from about 293 to 290 K with increasing silver content from x=0.05 to 0.1. The reported magnetocaloric entropy change and relative cooling power for both samples were considerably remarkable with a △S_(max) value of 1.9 J/(kg·K)and maximum RCP values of 100 J/kg, under a magnetic field change(?μ0H) equal to 1.8T. The analysis of the universal curves gave an evidence of a second order magnetic transition for the studied samples. The magnetic field influence on both the magnetic entropy change and the relative cooling power was also studied and discussed. 展开更多

The panel-type structures used in aerospace engineering can be subjected to severe highfrequency acoustic loadings in service. This paper evaluates the frequency-dependent random fatigue of panel-type structures made of ceramic matrix composites(CMCs) under acoustic loadings. Firstly, the high-frequency random responses from the broadband random excitation will result in more stress cycles in a deinite period of time. The probability density distributions of stress amplitudes will be different in different frequency bandwidths, though the peak stress estimations are identical. Secondly, the fatigue properties of CMCs can be highly frequency-dependent. The fatigue evaluation method for the random vibration case is adopted to evaluate the fatigue damage of a representative stiffened panel structure. The frequency effect through S-N curves on random fatigue damage is numerically veriied. Finally, a parameter is demonstrated to characterize the mean vibration frequency of a random process, and hence this parameter can further be considered as a reasonable loading frequency in the fatigue tests of CMCs to obtain more reliable S-N curves.Therefore, the inluence of vibration frequency can be incorporated in the random fatigue model from the two perspectives. 展开更多

In order to study the temperature distribution and the corresponding temperature effects on pre-stressed concrete(PC) curved box girder bridge in Shandong Province, this paper builds and adopts an automatic remote real-time temperature collection system to collect temperature data on site, and further uses the software ANSYS for analysis. Based on the comparisons between the measured data and the simulation results, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1 Our temperature monitoring system is reliable; 2 The corresponding measured data of the web plate and flange plate exposed to the sun, vary more severely than that at other positions, so these plates need higher standard design and construction requirements; 3 In the cold wave where still is sunshine, the box girder temperature effect behaves as sine-like curve. 展开更多
