THE SOLVING PROBLEM AND THE DIFFERENCE SOLVING PROCESS FOR THE SHEAR OF A BOUNDED ELASTIC BODIES

A long elastomer with rectangular section bonded between two parallel rigid surfaces will come about deformation because of the role of two opposite shear forces in both the top and bottom plate. The mathematic model of the deformation is deduced and a new difference solving process is proposed. For boundary condition with singularity, a detailed analysis and deduction is given and a new rational and effective discrete boundary condition is proposed. Simulate computation demonstrates that the result is identical with qualitative analysis. Therefore, a new and functional numerical method and quantitative analysis method are provided. 展开更多

Haptic interaction plays an important role in the virtual reality technology,which let a person not only view the 3D virtual environment but also realistically touch the virtual environment.As a key part of haptic interaction,force feedback has become an essential function for the haptic interaction.Therefore,multi-dimensional force sensors are widely used in the fields of virtual reality and augmented reality.In this paper,some conventional multi-dimensional force sensors based on different measurement principles,such as resistive,capacitive,piezoelectric,are briefly introduced.Then the mechanical structures of the elastic body of multi-dimensional force sensors are reviewed.It is obvious that the performance of the multi-dimensional force sensor is mainly dependent upon the mechanical structure of elastic body.Furthermore,the calibration process of the force sensor is analyzed,and problems in calibration are discussed.Interdimensional coupling error is one of the main factors affecting the measurement precision of the multi-dimensional force sensors.Therefore,reducing or even eliminating dimensional coupling error becomes a fundamental requirement in the design of multi-dimensional force sensors,and the decoupling state-of-art of the multi-dimensional force sensors are introduced in this paper.At last,the trends and current challenges of multi-dimensional force sensing technology are proposed. 展开更多

In order to reflect the vertical random vibration characteristics of railway vehicles more truly and effectively,this paper regards the human body as a single-degree-of-freedom system attached to the bottom of the carriage,and establishes a vertical dynamic model of railway vehicles by considering the influence of the coupling vibration effect between the passenger and the car body.The correctness of the model is verified by the real vehicle test.Then,the influence of the passengers on the vertical vibration characteristics of railway vehicles is analyzed,and the influence of the railway vehicle vibration on the vertical vibration characteristics of passengers is discussed in this paper.The research made in this paper can provide an effective model reference for the analysis of the vertical random vibration characteristics of railway vehicles and passengers,and for the optimization design of the suspension system parameters. 展开更多

A numerical–analytical approach is described to investigate the process of impact interaction between a long smooth rigid body and the surface of a circular cylindrical cavity in elastic space. A non-stationary mixed initial boundary value problem is formulated with a priori unknown boundaries moving with variable velocity. The problem is solved using the methods of the theory of integral transforms, expansion of desired variables into a Fourier series, and the quadrature method to reduce the problem to solving a system of linear algebraic equations at each time step. Some concrete numerical computations are presented.The cylindrical body mass and radius impact on the proile of the transient process of contact interaction has been analysed. 展开更多
