A new chaotic pulse width modulation (PWM) scheme is proposed and implemented for AC motors, which functions to significantly suppress harmonic peaks and hence acoustic noise. The key is to employ the Chua's circuit for generating a desired chaotic sequence. By using a practical induction motor, computer simulation and experimental results verify that the chaotic PWM has advantages of harmonic peak suppression and simple hardware implementation over the conventional PWM and random PWM.展开更多

Farther more, based on these models and simulations of PSM converter circuits, the analysis of the characteristics of PSM converter is described in this paper, of which include efficiency, frequency spectrum analysis, output voltage ripple, response speed and interference rejection capability. Compared with PWM control mode, PSM converter has high efficiency, especially with fight loads, quick response, good interference rejection and good EMC characteristic. Improved PSM slightly, it could be a kind of good independent regulating mode during the whole operating process for a DC-DC converter. Finally, some experimental results are also presented in this paper.展开更多

The best experimental technological conditions are that the master alloy can contains 8.0% of scandium while the restoring temperature is at 900 ℃, the restoring time is 20 min and the agitated time is a half minute. When the method of the fused salt covered with bell, agitated and pressed the argon is used in the expansion tests, the agitated number is 4 times and the average receives rate of Sc is 90.0%.展开更多

The active reflector of FAST ( five-hundred-meter aperture spherical radio telescope) is suppor- ted by a ring beam and a cable-net structure, in which nodes are actively controlled to form series of real-time parab...The active reflector of FAST ( five-hundred-meter aperture spherical radio telescope) is suppor- ted by a ring beam and a cable-net structure, in which nodes are actively controlled to form series of real-time paraboloids. To ensure the security and stability of the supporting structure, tension must be monitored for some typical cables. Considering the stringent requirements in accuracy and long- term stability, magnetic flux sensor, vibrating wire strain gauge and fiber bragg grating strain gauge are screened for the cable tension monitoring of the supporting cable-net. Specifically, receivers of radio telescopes have strict restriction on electro magnetic interference (EMI) or radio frequency in- terference (RFI). These three types of sensors are evaluated from the view of EMIfRFI. Firstly, these fundamentals are theoretically analyzed. Secondly, typical sensor signals are collected in the time and analyzed in the frequency domain, which shows the characteristic in the frequency domain. Finally, typical sensors are tested in an anechoic chamber to get the EMI levels. Theoretical analysis shows that Fiber Bragg Grating strain gauge itself will not lead to EMI/RFI. According to GJB151 A, frequency domain analysis and test results show that for the vibrating wire strain gauge and magnetic flux sensor themselves, testable EMIfRF1 levels are typically below the background noise of the ane- choic chamber. FAST finally choses these three sensors as the monitoring sensors of its cable ten- sion. The validation of the formula is verified by the results of theoretical derivation and simulation with well agreements. In comparison with the formula of input impedance in free space, the relationship between the change of input impedance with the length of antenna and the position of antenna in GTEM cell is obtained. In addition, some meaningful conclusions are presented, which not only can be referred by the further research of ElectroM agnetic Interference(EMI) measurements in GTEM cell, but also provide the theoretical basis for testing compensation and error analysis.展开更多
To verify a vacuum breaker's feasibility,when a transformer substation chooses a vacuum circuit breaker,it takes two different actual operational ways to cut off a transformer.This paper,using the power system com...To verify a vacuum breaker's feasibility,when a transformer substation chooses a vacuum circuit breaker,it takes two different actual operational ways to cut off a transformer.This paper,using the power system computer aided design/electro magnetic transient in DC system(PSCAD/EMTDC)software,simulates the substation system and studies transient recovery voltage(TRV)caused by the two different ways which can cut off a with load transformer or a no-load transformer.Simulation and calculation results show that TRV indexes of the first way are much higher than that of the second one,and their TRV indexes are both in a permissible range.The breaker is proved to be available.Besides,this paper proves that paralleling resistance has a good effect when the indexes exceed the standard.The resistance value depends on specific circumstances.展开更多
