The probe optical image is slowed due to steep dispersion induced by EIT. By applying an additional control field to an EIT-driven medium, the slowed image is transferred into two information channels. Image intensities between two information channels can be controlled by adjusting the intensities of the control fields. The similarity of output images is further analyzed. This image information transfer allows for manipulating images in a controlled fashion, and will be important in further information processing.展开更多

They are performed as the results of numerical solution for the infinite perfect conducting strip in case of E-polarization of the incident plane electromagnetic wave. In this case it is necessary to fulfill the following conditions. The local sources amplitudes should be the same order, in transverse and longitudinal directions the local sources should be separated into distances more than apparatus resolution, and the object maximum size does not have to be more than approximately 50λ. It was shown the limit and ability of the further development of the offered method.展开更多

The hybrid prism allows for precise focusing of light rays in a glass body and X-rays in a vacuum, enabling it to serve as an objective in various optical systems for imaging objects. The article delves into the structure and working principles of the hybrid prism, discussing its potential applications, including as an intraocular prism for macular degeneration, a lidar system for vehicle navigation, and objectives for cameras, telescopes, microscopes, X-ray devices, and X-ray microscopes. The revolutionary hybrid prism unlocks precise imaging of light and X-rays, reshaping optical systems and enabling groundbreaking applications.展开更多
