Such method allows to find transient solutions, even when the integrated system is stiff, however, it leads to some difficulties when simulating big systems and sometimes to the deterioration of computations quality, that is reflected in decrease in accuracy, oscillations of solutions, which are not present in the initial model. This paper analyzes the shortcomings of this approach, and proposes to apply explicit numerical schemes with stability control on the integration step and with reduction of some of state variables. A brief description of the method of finding transient solutions and an example of the analysis are also given in the present paper.展开更多

文摘Multidimensional integration and multifunctional com-ponent assembly have been greatly explored in recent years to extend Moore’s Law of modern microelectronics. However, this inevitably exac-erbates the inhomogeneity of temperature distribution in microsystems, making precise temperature control for electronic components extremely challenging.Herein,we report an on-chip micro temperature controller including a pair of thermoelectric legs with a total area of 50×50μm^(2),which are fabricated from dense and flat freestanding Bi2Te3-based ther-moelectric nano films deposited on a newly developed nano graphene oxide membrane substrate. Its tunable equivalent thermal resistance is controlled by electrical currents to achieve energy-efficient temperature control for low-power electronics.A large cooling temperature difference of 44.5 K at 380 K is achieved with a power consumption of only 445μW,resulting in an ultrahigh temperature control capability over 100 K mW^(-1).Moreover,an ultra-fast cooling rate exceeding 2000 K s^(-1) and excellent reliability of up to 1 million cycles are observed. Our proposed on-chip temperature controller is expected to enable further miniaturization and multifunctional integration on a single chip for microelectronics.

文摘Electrocardiogram(ECG)monitoring is used to diagnose cardiovascular diseases, for which wearable electronics have attracted much attention due to their lightweight, comfort, and long-term use. This study developed a wearablemultilead ECG sensing system with on-skin stretchable and conductive silver(Ag)-coated fiber/silicone(AgCF-S)dry adhesives.Tangential and normal adhesion to pigskin(0.43 and 0.20 N/cm2,respectively)was optimized by the active control of fiber density and mixing ratio, resulting in close contact in the electrode–skin interface. The breathableAgCF-S dry electrodewas nonallergenic after continuous fit for 24 h and can be reused/cleaned(>100 times)without loss of adhesion. The AgCF encapsulated inside silicone elastomers was overlapped to construct a dynamic network under repeated stretching(10%strain)and bending(90°)deformations,enabling small intrinsic impedance(0.3,0.1 Hz)and contact impedance variation(0.7 k)in high-frequency vibration(70 Hz).All hard/soft modules of the multilead ECG system were integrated into lightweight clothing and equipped with wireless transmission for signal visualization.By synchronous acquisition of I–III,aVR,aVL,aVF,and V4 lead data, the multilead ECG sensing system was suitable for various scenarios, such as exercise, rest, and sleep, with extremely high signal-to-noise ratios.

文摘Substrates or encapsulants in soft and stretchable formats are key components for transient, bioresorbable electronic systems;however, elastomeric polymers with desired mechanical and biochemical properties are very limited compared to nontransient counterparts. Here,we introduce a bioresorbable elastomer,poly(glycolide-co-ε-caprolactone)(PGCL),that contains excellent material properties including high elongation-at-break(<1300%),resilience and toughness, and tunable dissolution behaviors.Exploitation of PGCLs as polymer matrices,in combination with conducing polymers, yields stretchable, conductive composites for degradable interconnects, sensors, and actuators, which can reliably function under external strains.Integration of device components with wireless modules demonstrates elastic, transient electronic suture system with on-demand drug delivery for rapid recovery of postsurgical wounds in soft,time-dynamic tissues.

文摘Electromagnetic interference shielding(EMI SE)modules are the core com-ponent of modern electronics. However, the tra-ditional metal-based SE modules always take up indispensable three-dimensional space inside electronics, posing a major obstacle to the integra-tion of electronics. The innovation of integrating 3D-printed conformal shielding(c-SE)modules with packaging materials onto core electronics offers infinite possibilities to satisfy ideal SE func-tion without occupying additional space.Herein, the 3D printable carbon-based inks with various proportions of graphene and carbon nanotube nanoparticles are well-formulated by manipulating their rheological peculiarity.Accordingly, the free-constructed architectures with arbitrarily-customized structure and multifunctionality are created via 3D printing. In particular, the SE performance of 3D-printed frame is up to 61.4 dB,simultaneously accompanied with an ultralight architecture of 0.076 g cm^(-3) and a superhigh specific shielding of 802.4 dB cm3 g^(-1).Moreover,as a proof-of-concept,the 3D-printed c-SE module is in situ integrated into core electronics, successfully replacing the traditional metal-based module to afford multiple functions for electromagnetic compatibility and thermal dissipa-tion.Thus,this scientific innovation completely makes up the blank for assembling carbon-based c-SE modules and sheds a brilliant light on developing the next generation of high-performance shielding materials with arbitrarily-customized structure for integrated electronics.

文摘The heat generation of electronic devices is increasing dramatically, which causes a serious bottleneck in the thermal management of electronics, and overheating will result in performance deterioration and even device damage. With the development of micro-machining technologies, the microchannel heat sink(MCHS)has become one of the best ways to remove the considerable amount of heat generated by high-power electronics. It has the advantages of large specific surface area, small size, coolant saving and high heat transfer coefficient. This paper comprehensively takes an overview of the research progress in MCHSs and generalizes the hotspots and bottlenecks of this area. The heat transfer mechanisms and performances of different channel structures, coolants, channel materials and some other influencing factors are reviewed.Additionally, this paper classifies the heat transfer enhancement technology and reviews the related studies on both the single-phase and phase-change flow and heat transfer. The comprehensive review is expected to provide a theoretical reference and technical guidance for further research and application of MCHSs in the future.

文摘The thermoregulating function of skin that is capable of maintaining body temperature within a thermostatic state is critical. However, patients suffering from skin damage are struggling with the surrounding scene and situational awareness. Here,we report an interactive self-regulation electronic system by mimicking the human thermos-reception system. The skin-inspired self-adaptive system is composed of two highly sensitive thermistors(thermal-response composite materials),and a low-power temperature control unit(Laserinduced graphene array). The biomimetic skin can realize self-adjusting in the range of 35–42℃,which is around physiological temperature. This thermoregulation system also contributed to skin barrier formation and wound healing.Across wound models, the treatment group healed~10%more rapidly compared with the control group, and showed reduced inflammation, thus enhancing skin tissue regeneration. The skin-inspired self-adaptive system holds substantial promise for nextgeneration robotic and medical devices.
文摘Exploitation of sustainable energy sources requires the use of unique conversion and storage systems, such as solar panels, batteries, fuel cells, and electronic equipment.Thermal load management of these energy conversion and storage systems is one of their challenges and concerns. In this article, the thermal management of these systems using thermoelectric modules is reviewed. The results show that by choosing the right option to remove heat from the hot side of the thermoelectric modules,it will be a suitable local cooling, and the thermoelectric modules increase the power and lifespan of the system by reducing the spot temperature.Thermoelectric modules were effective in reducing panel temperature. They increase the time to reach a temperature above 50℃ in batteries by 3 to 4 times. Also,in their integration with fuel cells, they increase the power density of the fuel cell.
